Jones High Country RV Camp Introduce
Jones High Country RV Camp is located at 899 S Main St, Nephi, UT 84648, USA. For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Nephi, Utah area, Jones High Country RV Camp is one option to consider. However, it is essential to approach this park with caution and conduct thorough due diligence, as recent customer feedback raises significant concerns about the management and overall experience.
The available information regarding Jones High Country RV Camp primarily consists of two very negative customer reviews. These reviews paint a concerning picture of the park's management style and policies, which potential visitors should carefully consider.
One review details a negative initial interaction with the person answering the phone. The reviewer describes the phone interaction as rude and unhelpful, leading to the impression that staying at the park would be a negative experience. This initial point of contact can often set the tone for a visitor's stay, and a negative first impression may deter potential guests.
The second, more extensive review describes a deeply troubling experience of a former resident who lived at the park with their two children and two dogs. This review alleges that they were evicted due to their one big dog, despite the park supposedly being "dog friendly." The reviewer portrays the office manager, described as an "old lady," in an extremely negative light. Allegations include rudeness, nosiness, and speaking poorly about park residents and individuals inquiring about staying at the park. The reviewer also claims the manager dislikes big dogs and potentially dogs in general, noting the presence of numerous cats at the manager's trailer that allegedly use the undersides of other trailers as a place to relieve themselves, causing odors.
Perhaps the most concerning allegations in this review involve the manager's interactions with children. The former resident claims the manager yelled at various children in the park and, in a particularly disturbing incident, allegedly made the resident's 11-year-old child cry by stating it would be his fault if they ended up homeless. This behavior reportedly caused the child to fear playing outside.
The review also includes serious allegations of the manager attempting to enter the former resident's trailer on two occasions while they were out, which was reportedly captured on a security camera. Additionally, the manager allegedly made a threatening statement about the former resident's dogs potentially disappearing. The reviewer also notes that while the park claims to be dog-friendly, only certain individuals were supposedly allowed to have their dogs off-leash. The reviewer further states that the manager was inconsistent in her communication, often contradicting herself and then claiming memory issues due to age.
The fact that the former resident's dogs were Emotional Support Animals (ESA) adds another layer of concern, especially if park policies were not appropriately accommodating of ESAs despite the park claiming to be dog-friendly. This discrepancy in policy and practice, as alleged in the review, could create significant issues for individuals with service or emotional support animals.
Given the severity and consistency of the negative feedback in these two reviews, potential visitors should exercise extreme caution when considering Jones High Country RV Camp. The allegations of rude and unhelpful management, discriminatory attitudes towards certain types of pets and potentially children, and concerning behavior such as alleged attempted entry into a resident's trailer are serious red flags.
Due to the overwhelmingly negative nature of the available feedback, it is impossible to provide any positive information regarding the environment, services, or features of Jones High Country RV Camp based solely on these reviews. There is no mention of the park's amenities, the condition of the grounds, the size or layout of the RV sites, or any positive aspects of staying at the park.
Therefore, any local users searching for "RV parks near me" and coming across Jones High Country RV Camp should be aware of these serious allegations. It is strongly recommended that potential visitors seek alternative RV parks in the Nephi, Utah area that have more positive or at least less concerning reviews. If Jones High Country RV Camp remains a consideration, individuals should absolutely contact the park directly using the provided phone number (435) 623-2624 or mobile number +1 435-623-2624 to speak with the management directly and seek clarification on the issues raised in the reviews. It would also be prudent to inquire about their policies regarding pets, children, and the process for check-in and check-out.
Furthermore, if possible, potential visitors should try to find more recent reviews from other sources or consider visiting the park in person (if they feel comfortable doing so) to get a firsthand impression of the environment and management. However, based on the current online feedback, Jones High Country RV Camp appears to present significant potential for a negative experience.
In conclusion, the available online reviews for Jones High Country RV Camp in Nephi, Utah, paint a highly unfavorable picture of the park's management and policies. Allegations of rudeness, discriminatory behavior, mistreatment of residents and children, and concerning actions by the manager should give potential visitors serious pause. Without any positive or neutral feedback to balance these accounts, it is difficult to recommend this RV park. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" are strongly advised to proceed with extreme caution and consider alternative options with more positive reputations.

Jones High Country RV Camp Reviews
Whoever is answering the phone shouldn’t be there. She was so rude and didn’t help at all. It was obvious we’d have a bad experience if we stayed there. Not acceptable
Apr 23, 2025 · Brad BaldwinHorrible i lived here with my 2 kids and my 2 dogs and we got kicked out because of my one big dog. The old lady at the office is rude, nosey, talks badly about everyone in the park, about the park and people calling for a spot. She doesnt like big dogs. She doesnt like dogs at all. Her trailer is parked on the south end and has so many cats. Her cats will potty under trailers and makes them stink. She does not like kids. She has yelled at every kid i have seen there and she has made my 11 year old cry saying it would be his fault that we end up homeless. He hated to go out and play because of her. I had a camera up and when i was towards the end of moving out i left to run some errands she tried 2 times to get into the trailer. On video!! You can hear her trying to open the door. She told me one day “don't be to surprised if you come home one day and cant find your dog anywhere.” Both my dogs are ESA and the park says dog friendly. Only certain people are allowed to have their dogs off leash. She will say one thing and then next day say the opposite and then say “I can’t remember I’m old.”
Sep 09, 2024 · jackie sauterI can't say enough good things about this RV trailer park. I found myself in a tight spot when my tow vehicle broke down, and Val went above and beyond to accommodate me. Despite the parking spot I was in was not designed for long-term stays, they kindly allowed me and my family to settle into a cozy spot. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was inviting and peaceful. The facilities are top-notch, clean, and well-maintained. This isn't just a place to park your RV; it's a community fostered by the genuine warmth and hospitality.Val and Pat are more than just great hosts; they're fantastic people who take the well-being of their guests to heart. They were attentive to our needs and made us feel like part of their extended family. If you're looking for a home away from home, don't hesitate to stay here. This RV park is more than just a stop on the road; it's a haven of kindness and a testament to exceptional service.Oh and prices are more than reasonable 🙂
Oct 30, 2023 · Shatter RoundelThe homepage is 4 years old, owner is aware of it and doesn't care, the price is almost double than quoted, that's misleading customers in my book. On top no Good Sam discounts anymore. Well then we go some other place that welcomes Good Sam members or are actually free. We had to stay in Nephi as we had an appointment with a shop to fix the windshield, there is a national forest or park to the east, where you stay free of charge. Just go east on 132 and take the Nebo Loop National Scenic Byway. We also got propane at ACE and asked if we could stay a night, they did let us. So plenty other places to stay, no need to put up with this RV park owner in Nephi and his "I couldn't care less and bring folks in by telling them other prices" to lead em to his place.
Apr 17, 2024 · Manne BKDisappointed... website list 1 night site as $30 minus $5 for Goodsam = $25. After arriving the nice lady clerk says website outdated by 3 years, rate now $40. It was late & getting dark so I stayed. All sites on gravel & most uneven so buyer beware.
