Lake Mason Campground Reviews
My family and I travel and camp all over the US and we were offered a job position at this campground. We didn't know what to expect, upon reading the prior reviews, but once we arrived we knew there was no place we'd rather be!! The park itself is warm, inviting and beautiful. The people who have planted deep roots here with their families, are just incredible. Everyone helps eachother out, all the kids can safely run around and just enjoy being kids. If you've been here in the past and have left, or you've yet to visit, I strongly urge you to visit!! It's worth it!
May 02, 2025 · Kayla BurnsThis place is a hidden gem! Loved spending the night in their massive airbnb on site. I was fortunate to see all types of wild life and in close proximity to the Dells (which is roughly 15min away). It's nice being in nature and not around all of the hustle and bustle if you can appreciate that. Will come back again and thank you Clayton and Tracy for being hospitable hosts!
Feb 21, 2025 · adam evansWe really like the new management.Super nice people and working very hard .They get along with everyone and very friendly.Putting money back into the campground. We have needed someone like them for a long time.Thank you Paul and Kalya and girls for all you have been doing for our campground
May 08, 2025 · Janet PittsleyBeware. Use to be an outstanding campground. If you plan on staying in your own space and need NOTHING else this might be your place. Use your own camper bathroom as public ones are scary. Not being able to utilize your camper during winter is a shame and have to now give 72 hr notice to be there for 30 minutes. Not sure we can clean up leaves in that time and hope there is no damage done during the winter. It was nice to check on it and make sure doors remained closed along with neighbors campers. Hope there is change/improvement next season or may be our last. Sad as this camp has been our happy place for 8 yrs.
Nov 05, 2024 · Chris HerrmannWe loved the campground and all of the friends we made, but management is 👎. The only way you'd find out information is when they posted yet another piece of paper on the office windows. Hello.. you have all of our emails. The woman manager telling people if you don't like the way things are, then get the eff out. Not being in the office during posted hours. Them constantly changing the rules. An example: two campers were told they could stay over the winter like they have been doing for years. Different managers come in and all of a sudden the answer is no. Informing people that if you're in the campgrounds after November 1st, you are trespassing and the police will be called. So many like to come up after all the leaves fall and clean up their sites. (The campground always looked good.) Was told management was going to take care of that. Riiiight. Hearing that they weren't going to blow out the water lines but were going to let gravity do the job. What!? And the review made by Tracy; she is not a camper, she is the manager. There were rarely open spots in this campground in the past, but after the campground was sold, things started going downhill. When we pulled our camper out this year, there were at least 10 open sites, and 13 campers for sale. Hmmmm... The one star rating I gave this campground is for the service. There are awesome people in this campground and we had a great time the 8 seasons we were here!
