Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park Introduce
For those utilizing platforms such as "RV Parks Near Me" in their search for a suitable overnight or extended stay in the Wisconsin Dells area, Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park emerges as a distinctive and highly-regarded option. Located at S1633 WI-23, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965, USA, this park caters specifically to a clientele seeking peace, quiet, and a laid-back atmosphere, distinguishing itself from the more bustling, amenity-heavy resorts common in the region. The park can be reached at (608) 253-2132 or +1 608-253-2132.
The environment at Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park is consistently described as nice, clean, and well-kept. It is situated in a location that offers a balance of being "near all the action" of Wisconsin Dells while maintaining a secluded and tranquil ambiance. Unlike some of the larger, more commercialized campgrounds, Country Roads cultivates an atmosphere of relaxation and rest. The park is characterized by its quiet surroundings, free from the "hustle and bustle" often associated with family-oriented resorts. This makes it an ideal spot for adults, or anyone looking for a serene escape, to unwind after a day of exploring the Dells or simply to enjoy a peaceful day at the campground. The sites are well-maintained, contributing to the overall cleanliness and pleasant aesthetic of the park. While specific details on the natural landscape of the individual sites (e.g., wooded, open) are not extensively provided, the emphasis on peace and quiet suggests a setting conducive to relaxation, likely with enough space between sites to ensure privacy. The absence of typical high-energy campground features like pools or playgrounds further reinforces its identity as a calm retreat.
The services offered at Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park are focused on providing essential comforts and convenience for RV travelers. A key service highlighted by guests is the availability of full hookups, which typically include water, sewer, and electric connections at each site. This allows for a self-contained and comfortable stay, reducing the need for guests to rely on communal facilities for basic needs. However, even with full hookups, the park's communal facilities receive high praise. The bathrooms and showers are consistently noted for their exceptional cleanliness, with hot water readily available. This meticulous attention to cleanliness in shared facilities is a significant draw for many RVers who appreciate well-maintained amenities. The friendly and trusting nature of the owners also extends to their service approach. As one review illustrates, the owners are willing to accommodate late arrivals by leaving camping information taped to the door and trusting guests to pay the following day, even calling beforehand to confirm arrival. This level of trust and customer service speaks volumes about the park's management philosophy. While the park is noted for not being "kid friendly" in terms of dedicated play areas, its services are tailored to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free stay for adults and those seeking a quiet environment.
The features of Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park are deliberately designed to cater to its niche audience: adults seeking peace and quiet. The most prominent feature, as reiterated by multiple reviewers, is the serene and laid-back atmosphere. This is a campground "for adults who want to rest and relax," distinctly lacking pools, play areas for children, or other typical family-centric amenities. This deliberate absence of high-activity features creates an environment free from noise and excessive activity, allowing guests to truly unwind. The cleanliness of the campground, including the spotless bathrooms and showers with hot water, is another top-tier feature, reflecting the owners' commitment to quality and guest comfort. The affordability of the camping rates, especially "considering you are in the Dells," is a significant draw and a frequently praised feature. Many RV parks in popular tourist destinations can be quite expensive, making Country Roads an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize a quiet stay over elaborate amenities. The "super" and friendly nature of the owners is also a critical feature, contributing significantly to the positive guest experience. Their welcoming demeanor and trust in guests, such as accommodating late arrivals, foster a warm and inviting atmosphere. The park's commitment to maintaining a clean, well-kept environment further enhances the overall experience, ensuring a pleasant stay for all visitors. Its focus on providing a tranquil retreat "near all the action" allows guests the best of both worlds: easy access to the Dells' attractions and a peaceful haven to return to.
In terms of promotional information, Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park primarily promotes itself through word-of-mouth, positive reviews, and its clear differentiation as a quiet, adult-friendly campground. The consistent praise for its cleanliness, affordability, and the friendly nature of the owners serves as its most effective advertisement. The park implicitly markets itself to a specific demographic: those who value peace over playgrounds, clean facilities over numerous amenities, and affordability over extravagance. Its promotional message could be summarized as: "If what you’re looking for is peace and quiet, this is the best place for you." The emphasis on "no hustle and bustle" and "no pools, no play area for kids" acts as both a disclaimer and a selling point, clearly communicating its target audience. The park’s ability to provide a clean, comfortable, and affordable overnight stay, especially for those looking to "rest and relax" after a long day of travel or activities in the Dells, would be central to its promotional efforts. The trustworthiness and welcoming attitude of the management are also strong promotional points, creating a sense of reliability and genuine hospitality that encourages repeat visits and positive recommendations. For RVers who prioritize a serene environment and well-maintained essential facilities at a reasonable price, Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park effectively promotes itself as the ideal choice in the Wisconsin Dells area.

Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park Reviews
Nice, clean, well kept campground near all the action. Owners are super and we enjoyed our overnighter!
May 07, 2025 · Ginny HobsonI don’t write many reviews but feel this is one I’ll take a little time to write. First off this is not a kid friendly campground. This is quiet and laid back. No hustle and bustle, no pools, no play area for kids. This is for adults who want to rest and relax. The people who we greeted us were very friendly. Also when we arrived later in the afternoon they were going to be gone for the day so they just left our camping info taped to the door and allowed us to setup and trusted we would pay the next day. They also called me before they left to be sure I was still coming. The campground was very clean, the bathrooms were very clean, showers had hot water. Even though we were on full hookup my wife and I went and used the shower so we could just get cleaned up without waiting for each other to shower in the camper and get to bed after a long day on the water. Also I have a no pooping in the camper rule unless it’s an emergency. And the best part is the camping rates. Very affordable considering you are in the Dells. One reason I stayed here was because of the reviews so I hope my review helps people decide if this is the place for them. As long as what you’re looking for is peace and quiet this is the best place for you. Thank you.
Jul 22, 2024 · Rene MGoing to point out 1st we have been traveling awhile about 25 states & this is the 1st place we've stayed at that was free of trash & NOT one dog poop pile anywhere!! (a pet peeve of mine is people not picking up after themselves or their dogs)Originally planned on just a stop over did not know the area, surprised how much fun in this very touristy town there was. Ended up staying 3 nights.Park was nice & quiet no kids which we enjoyed.Clean park the showers are older & small but clean.Moose Jaw brewery & food was the bomb! Great food & service!Did a couple Original Wisconsin Duck tours. Beautiful tours over land & river. Had a great time here highly recommend
Aug 07, 2024 · Michelle GlennonThis is definitely what I would call a senior community. Many seasonal people who know each other and hang out at the store throughout the day to socialize. The location is close to activities but you do hear road traffic at night. The grounds are very well lit at night between the lights they put up and half of the rvs having bright lights surrounding the site. The bathrooms are dated but clean The sites were ok. Ours faced the store and did not have alot of privacy and could hear conversations throughout the day. Many owners have dogs as well but are respectful and clean up after them. However we got unlucky and were near some little yappy ones the owners left out a lot. Overall if you are looking for a true camping experience I’m not sure this is it. We have traveled all over the country and Canada and rely on thorough and honest reviews. Therefore, I feel it is important to write one
Oct 04, 2024 · Margie CampbellWe stayed overnight. There is a short drive on a road under construction to get to the entrance. I confirmed the cash discount in advance but when the total was calculated at check in the credit price was used. I questioned it and was waved off. Pull thru site was on a fairly steep hill with the toad parked at an angle but it all worked out with leveling. Starlink had good reception. Very nice full time resident community who provided gratis produce from a garden and home made bread. The campground is large enough for nice evening walks. Very clean restrooms and showers. Would stay again but specify a level site with a picnic table.
