Lecanto Hills Mobile Home & RV Park Introduce
Are you currently searching for "mobile home parks near me" or potentially even "RV parks near me" in the Lecanto, Florida area? Lecanto Hills Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 4400 W Gulf to Lake Hwy, Lecanto, FL 34461, USA, is a community that appears to offer both mobile home and possibly RV sites, given its name. They can be contacted at (352) 746-4648 or +1 352-746-4648 for inquiries.
Based on the very limited customer reviews available online, the experiences at Lecanto Hills Mobile Home & RV Park appear to be overwhelmingly negative, raising significant concerns for potential residents. One detailed review paints a picture of neglect and a problematic relationship with the owner. The reviewer, identifying as an 80-year-old resident, reports having to perform their own yard work despite their age. They also describe issues with "rotted" trees that the owner allegedly refuses to trim, leading to large limbs falling on their fence, for which the owner supposedly told them to "buy new." The reviewer further recounts a large tree limb filling their entire front yard and limbs causing damage to their roof, necessitating a replacement. A particularly unusual and concerning claim is that the owner requires rent payments to be made in person at his bank and has allegedly attempted to gain access to the resident's bank account, which was refused by both the bank and the resident.
The second review is even more scathing, labeling the park "a trap" and describing the owner as a "real piece of work!" This reviewer explicitly states they "would not recommend it at all." Beyond the owner, they also express negative opinions about some of the residents, describing them as "people really suck" who "think they are better than everybody" and are "nosey as can be." They further suggest a cliquish atmosphere, stating, "If you can't fit in, this isn't for you," and allege that a "good old girls club runs it" and are "the rudest" and "two faced." This paints a picture of a potentially unwelcoming and unpleasant social environment within the park.
Considering these two highly negative reviews, potential residents of Lecanto Hills Mobile Home & RV Park should be prepared for potential issues related to park maintenance, management interactions, and the overall community atmosphere. The first review raises serious concerns about the owner's responsiveness to maintenance needs, potential financial irregularities related to rent payment, and a lack of consideration for the needs of elderly residents. The second review suggests a toxic social environment and a highly negative perception of both the owner and some of the residents.
For local users searching for "mobile home parks near me" or potentially "RV parks near me" in Lecanto, Florida, Lecanto Hills Mobile Home & RV Park is an option that has received very negative feedback online. While the park's name suggests it might accommodate both mobile homes and RVs, the reviews do not provide specific details about RV amenities or the experience of RVers staying there. However, the strong negative sentiments expressed about the management and community atmosphere would likely be relevant to anyone considering living in the park, regardless of whether they are in a mobile home or an RV.
Given the severity of the allegations in the reviews, it is crucial for potential residents to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Lecanto Hills Mobile Home & RV Park. This should include, at a minimum:
- **Directly contacting the management:** Use the provided phone numbers to inquire about current policies, maintenance procedures, rent payment methods, and the overall community environment. Be prepared to ask specific questions based on the concerns raised in the reviews.
- **Visiting the park in person:** A visit to the community is essential to observe the condition of the grounds, the upkeep of the mobile homes and any RV sites, and the general atmosphere of the park. Pay attention to the state of trees and common areas.
- **Speaking with current residents (if possible):** If you have the opportunity, try to speak with current residents to get firsthand accounts of their experiences living in the park. This can provide valuable insights beyond the online reviews.
- **Checking for additional reviews:** Look for reviews on other platforms or websites to see if there is a broader consensus regarding the park's management and living conditions.
Due to the overwhelmingly negative nature of the available feedback, it is impossible to offer any positive promotional information about Lecanto Hills Mobile Home & RV Park based solely on these reviews. In fact, the information strongly suggests potential significant drawbacks to living in this community. Any potential benefits, such as location or specific amenities, would need to be independently verified and weighed against the serious concerns raised by past residents.
In the context of the platform category "rv parks near me," if Lecanto Hills does indeed offer RV sites, the negative feedback regarding management and community atmosphere would still be highly relevant for RV travelers seeking a pleasant and hassle-free stay. The alleged lack of maintenance and the potential for negative interactions with the owner and some residents could significantly detract from the RVing experience.
In conclusion, Lecanto Hills Mobile Home & RV Park in Lecanto, Florida, has received starkly negative reviews online, citing issues with unresponsive management, poor maintenance, unusual rent payment demands, and an unwelcoming community atmosphere. For local users searching for "mobile home parks near me" or "RV parks near me," this community warrants extreme caution and thorough personal investigation. The serious allegations made by former residents should be carefully considered, and prospective residents are strongly advised to conduct extensive due diligence before making any decisions about living in Lecanto Hills Mobile Home & RV Park.

Lecanto Hills Mobile Home & RV Park Reviews
They do nothing for you. . I am 80 years old and have to do my own yard work. Trees are all rotted and he will not trim them. Had whole limbs fall on my fence. He said buy new. My yard had a tree limb so big filled up my whole front yard. Have a nice size yard. Limbs have put holes in my roof. Had to get a new one. The owner makes me go to his bank to pay rent. He wants to get in to my bank accoumy bank says no, I say no.
Sep 20, 2023 · Jane FerrisThis place is a trap. The owner is a real piece of work! Would not recommend it at all. People really suck, and think they are better than everybody, and nosey as can be. If you can't fit in, this isn't for you. Good old girls club runs it, and they are the rudest. Two faced.. you get the point.
May 28, 2022 · James RollingsBeware. Switch out owner. One min you can stay the next min you have to leave. Nosey people and think they are better than everybody. People always call owner to complain while they smile to your face. On the flip side there are some good people here. But not many. I have a serious heart condition and being here hasn't helped me at all. BewareThe good old girls Club runs the place and if you aren't in. You are hassled
Nov 05, 2021 · Danielle RevelAfter 4 years and as a single woman still working, I had to go thru covid, eye surgery and the woods behind me to make way for the Suncoast Highwaywhich caused lots of dirt, bugs, animals coming into the park. The owner came to my place and insulted about how my place needed to be cleaned up. I am positive my neighbors called him. People that do not have a life and have nothing else to do.
May 25, 2023 · Pamela DonaldsonMore than just an Mobile home and RV Park. It's a family friendly community with the best of neighbors. Everyone looks out for each other, no loud and disrespectful people. Riff Raff is not welcome here! Greg, the maintenance man will bend over backward to accommodate, and Brit, the manager is such a good man.
