Lone Star Refuge RV Park Introduce
If you're currently searching for "RV parks near me" that offer more than just a place to park your RV, look no further than Lone Star Refuge RV Park, located at 3778 Co Rd 200 in the charming town of Valley View, Texas (zip code 76272). Based on heartfelt testimonials from former long-term residents, this RV park stands out as a truly special place, offering a welcoming, safe, and community-oriented environment managed by exceptionally kind and dedicated owners.
The name "Lone Star Refuge" appears to be aptly chosen, as evidenced by the experiences shared by those who have called this park home. One family who lived there for four years described it as a genuine "REFUGE" during their time of need. This speaks volumes about the supportive and caring atmosphere fostered by the owners, Mike and Jen, who are repeatedly praised as being "the two most kind people you will ever meet." Their personal touch and genuine care seem to create an environment where residents feel truly supported and valued.
Another former resident who lived at Lone Star Refuge for seven months echoed these sentiments, stating they "absolutely loved it" and would give it an even higher rating if possible. This exceptional level of satisfaction highlights the unique qualities that set Lone Star Refuge apart from other RV parks. The reviewer explicitly stated that they believe they will "never find one as amazing as Lone Star Refuge" among all the RV parks they have visited.
A key aspect contributing to this positive experience is the hard work and dedication of the park owners. Residents consistently mention how Mike and Jen go above and beyond to make the park feel like home and the tenants feel like family. This proactive approach to management cultivates a strong sense of community, where neighbors become friends and the owners are considered part of that extended family.
Safety is another paramount feature of Lone Star Refuge RV Park. The park is described as a "very safe family environment," providing peace of mind for residents, especially those with children. This focus on safety likely contributes to the overall sense of well-being and comfort reported by those who have lived there.
One of the unique features that sets Lone Star Refuge apart is its accommodation for more personalized living spaces. Unlike many traditional RV parks, Lone Star Refuge allows for a fenced-in yard and a shed on each lot. This provides residents with the opportunity to create a more personal and functional outdoor living area, adding to the feeling of permanence and home. The ability to have a fenced yard is particularly beneficial for families with children or pets, offering a safe and enclosed space for them to enjoy.
Furthermore, the lots at Lone Star Refuge are described as "double lots," providing residents with extra space. This additional space translates to more room for outdoor activities, storage, and overall comfort. Each lot also boasts "multiple parking spaces," which is a significant convenience for households with more than one vehicle or for accommodating visitors.
The meticulous care and attention to detail provided by the owners are evident in the park's upkeep. Residents note that the owners work diligently to ensure there are "no pests," the lawn is regularly mowed, and the park is consistently clean. This high standard of maintenance contributes to a pleasant and healthy living environment, further enhancing the feeling of living in a well-cared-for neighborhood rather than just an RV park.
The strong sense of community at Lone Star Refuge is a recurring theme in the reviews. Residents describe it as feeling "more like living in a neighborhood than an RV park" with long-term residents, amazing neighbors, and the exceptional owners. This sense of belonging and camaraderie creates a supportive and enjoyable living experience for those who choose to make Lone Star Refuge their home.
Adding to the unique appeal of the park is the mention of "amazing well water." This is a noteworthy feature, as good quality water is essential for daily living. The fact that residents specifically brag about the well water indicates that it is a significant positive aspect of living at Lone Star Refuge.
Even after moving to a rental house due to a growing family, one former resident expressed a strong desire to return to Lone Star Refuge if they ever needed to move back into an RV. This unwavering recommendation, rating the park "11/10," speaks volumes about the positive and lasting impact of living in this community.
While the reviews provide extensive positive feedback about the environment, the kindness of the owners, the sense of community, the spacious lots, and the allowance for fenced yards and sheds, specific details regarding the standard RV hookups (water, electricity, sewer), potential Wi-Fi availability, laundry facilities, or other common RV park amenities are not explicitly mentioned. To obtain this information, it is recommended to contact Lone Star Refuge RV Park directly using the provided phone numbers: (940) 343-5135 or +1 940-343-5135.
In conclusion, for those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Valley View, Texas area, Lone Star Refuge RV Park offers a truly exceptional living experience. Its welcoming and safe family environment, coupled with the kindness and dedication of the owners, fosters a strong sense of community that feels more like a neighborhood than a typical RV park. The spacious double lots, the allowance for fenced yards and sheds, the meticulous maintenance, and even the amazing well water contribute to its unique appeal. Lone Star Refuge RV Park Reviews
My family lived here for 4 years and loved every minute! Mike and Jen are the two most kind people you will ever meet. They are a blessing and this was definitely a “REFUGE” for us and our circumstances at the time. We were blessed to watch the park grow over the years and consider it an honor to be apart of the community/family they created within the park! It’s a special place with special people & incredible sunsets!
Jun 19, 2024 · Amanda DyerWe lived here for 7 months. We absolutely loved it if I could leave a higher rating on google I would. Out of all the RV parks we have been to, I KNOW we will never find one as amazing as Lone Star Refuge. The park owners work so hard to make the park feel like home and the tenets feel like family. It is a very safe family environment and I loved that they allow for a fenced in yard and a shed and every lot has multiple parking spaces and is a double lot giving you extra space. The owners meticulously care for the park, making sure there are no pests, the lawn is mowed, and the park is always clean. It honestly feels more like living in a neighborhood than an RV park with longer term residents and amazing neighbors and owners. I can even brag on the amazing well water the park has. I am still good friends with the people in the park and the owners, Mike and Jen. I 11/10 recommend this park for anyone who is looking to feel at home. We moved to a rental house due to our growing family but if I ever had to move back into an RV I would immediately choose Lone Star again.
Jun 28, 2024 · Andrea PyleMy husband and I have never felt more at home than we did when we lived here! Jen has such a kind heart and really makes this RV park feel like a home especially for long term stays! We had a previous pups living with us and having our own space was second to none! By far the best place we have lived in an RV park. We only left due to jobs placement or we would still be there!

Nov 19, 2024 · Raymond SchaferWe’ve had the pleasure of calling this park our home for the last 2.5 years! The owners Jen and Mike are incredible and care for their tenets so well! This place is truly a refuge for rv owners to live full time!
