Mark Twain Lake Jellystone Park Reviews
We camped here for a week in our RV to visit family in the area, beautiful campground, the managers were very nice & so helpful. The place feels like home & we will definitely be back!!
May 05, 2025 · Erin SharpsteenWe stayed in the cabins near the lake, and had a great time! First, yes, they are hard to reach on the phone, but likely because they are taking such great care of people in person- which was the case with us. The staff were all wonderful and kind. One of the gals working in the snack shop went out of her way to help us. We loved riding the golf cart around, and loved the water park. The boys especially loved the bounce pad and mini golf. Our cabin was clean and as advertised- and the loft area was bigger than expected which was great for our two rambunctious boys. A great time all around!
Jul 22, 2024 · Sarah McNaughtGeneral manager is so hateful & bad at her job. Steve made the experience better! But the cabins were so bad. Bubbles on the walls, wallpaper peeling off, stains on the sheets, trim missing, cabin does not look like pictures at all, toilet is tilted, hole in the bathroom door, window screens are busted out, breaker keeps tripping even after they came down multiple times. The bathroom floor is literally falling in. We had to deal with 90 degree weather. The park just looks trashy. Trash literally everywhere. Boards missing from the cabin. Grill bottom is falling out & the other two are propane one is tilted falling over. The menu prices online are wrong and really so is everything else. Get more employees like Steve.
Aug 26, 2024 · Alisa CaytonWe just arrived home late last night. I got a cabin , we got a two-night stay. Check in was very smooth. Checking in is supposed to happen at the ranger cabin apparently but we didn't know that and there is no sign up that says ranger cabin so it took a little while but eventually we found a housekeeper that was out and about and she helped us figure out where to go. The location of the cabins was nice and the grounds were fairly clean the cabin itself was in terrible shape. We got one that had a loft unfortunately the loft had two mattresses with dirty bedding and gnats flying all over. I've done some camping so that wasn't completely a deal-breaker because I know that when it's really really hot and humid out sometimes that just happens but when I got to looking around there was actual spider webs with eggs in the corners, dirty carpet, mirrors and windows with food and fingerprints all over the inside. So unfortunately I spent the first 2 hours or so trying to clean up before my son and his kids came in to check out the cabin. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and such but the window unit was clogged with dirt, the refrigerator was dirty and the sink had old food in the drains. The restroom was nice and big, the shower floor was covered with dirt and there was one towel folded on top of the shelf. I called the front and told them that the cabin was really pretty dirty and that we didn't have enough clean bedding or towels so they sent a housekeeper up with those things. They didn't even ask if there was anything they could do as far as helping with the cleaning they didn't even want to see what I was having an issue with. So I continued to clean. We are about 4 hours from this location and really did not want to have to leave and go home as soon as we had arrived so I was hoping that things would be fine once I got it cleaned up. The outside of the cabin had a nice fire pit and it was mowed. The bottom part though, the skirting was falling off. The covers on the side of the cabin I guess that protect things like the pipes, were hanging off by the hinges. The mini golf course was nice and the water park looks nice but desperately needs cleaning and repair. There's green growing in the slides and on the cement bottoms of the pools. They do have lots of activities for the kids but it's important to note that everything except for the actual swimming and the golf does cost extra so be prepared with cash. The crafts like the painting and the tie dye cost extra. Also the restaurant was not open during our stay which was probably posted on the internet somewhere but I did not notice it so come prepared with food if you're not there on the weekend. The end of the second afternoon the knats were definitely worse and our dirty little air conditioner could not keep up so we decided to go ahead and leave early. When we went to turn in our keys and our golf cart to let them know that we were leaving early nobody even blinked an eye because there were other people that had also left because of the shapes of their cabins. Nobody asked nobody really cared. This resort has so much potential and with a little bit of TLC I think it would have been a lot of fun. I was so happy and excited to take my son and two grandchildren on a short vacation and we did have fun hanging out together but I was so so disappointed about our stay and the fact that nobody really cared.
Jul 24, 2024 · Shauna MayberryThank you Jellystone team for a fantastic labor day weekend!! We appreciate your hard work and service. My family and I had a GREAT time RV camping!
