Based on the available customer reviews, Mary Lu Homeowners Associates Inc is described as a "nice community" that "seems quiet" and boasts "great views of the harbor and the Peace River."
One reviewer shares a detailed personal experience that highlights the community's neighborly spirit and its picturesque location: "Nice community. Seems quiet there. Right by the water (Port Charlotte/Peace River). It is on a blind corner, so you can easily miss it. They have two entrances on each side of the blind corner. I fell on my bicycle there twice. One time, it was wet and skidded a ways in front of Jack's house. He came out and helped me get up and asked me if I was alright. I think he was going to give me a ride home, but I told Jack that my wife was coming. Jack then helped me put the bike in our car. Really nice. I greatly appreciate it, as I could barely walk. 'Better is a neighbor near, than a brother far away.' Such was the case, and I was grateful. I am pretty sure they are in a flood zone area. They have a really good breeze there." This narrative provides several key insights. Firstly, the community is indeed perceived as "nice" and "quiet," suggesting a peaceful living environment. Its proximity to the water, specifically Port Charlotte and the Peace River, indicates a desirable waterfront location. The mention of a "blind corner" with two entrances is practical information for potential visitors. Most importantly, the reviewer's anecdote about falling and receiving help from a resident named Jack beautifully illustrates the strong sense of neighborly support within the community. Jack's kindness and willingness to assist a fellow human being in need speak volumes about the social fabric of Mary Lu Homeowners Associates Inc. The reviewer also notes the likelihood of the area being in a "flood zone," which is important information for prospective residents to consider, and mentions the benefit of a "really good breeze," likely due to its waterfront location.
Another reviewer offers a more concise but equally positive assessment: "Nice Park. Homeowner owned. Great views of the harbor and the Peace River." This reinforces the earlier points about the park being "nice" and emphasizes its unique characteristic of being "Homeowner owned," which often translates to a greater sense of community pride and involvement in the management of the neighborhood. The reiteration of "Great views of the harbor and the Peace River" underscores the prime waterfront location and the scenic beauty enjoyed by the residents.
Based on these reviews, Mary Lu Homeowners Associates Inc offers a quiet, waterfront living experience in Port Charlotte with a strong sense of community and neighborly support. The fact that it is homeowner-owned suggests a stable and potentially well-maintained environment where residents have a vested interest in the upkeep and well-being of the community. The proximity to the Peace River and Charlotte Harbor provides opportunities for enjoying the waterfront lifestyle and scenic views.

Nov 25, 2022 · Leicia AllegraIt's beautiful, exclusive, and the association is diligent. I rate it 2 Stars because they are misdirected... Instead of posting no trespassing signs everywhere they should be posting signs of hope and joy... People in their sell their homes and if they open up their community heart-space they will have better sales... I have gone in there periodically... I will walk over to that community to visit the birds and the water and of course I always send positive energy and blessings to the people in the community as I give thanks for the beauty and if they open themselves up to that, they would open themselves up for more blessings. It is because I walk through there that I think about purchasing when I'm old enough and referring to other people who are old enough... I should be welcomed with a big hello and the residents are being healed everytime I bring my energy there at all.. I'm an empath... It's what I was born to do and how can I do my healing work for the area that I am called to do if they are focused on kicking out energy instead of remaining with trust? I am a blessing.
Jan 16, 2023 · Leanna CurryAfter being here a year your eyes are wide open. There's are 1 sided. There are a few good people but most of directors are very 1 sided. They say no dogs , but state law they can't stop a service dog . Beware ⚠️⚠️⚠️ no amenities other than shuffleboard
