Melrose Mobile Home Park Introduce
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Jonesboro, Georgia area, it's important to be aware of all types of housing options that might appear in such searches, including mobile home parks. Melrose Mobile Home Park, located at 7735 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236, USA, is one such facility. However, based on recent customer reviews available online, potential residents should approach this location with significant caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering it as a place to live.
The limited number of reviews available for Melrose Mobile Home Park paint a concerning picture regarding the property's condition and management practices. One reviewer described it as "the trashiest, sketchiest trailer park I've ever seen," which is a strong and negative assessment of the overall environment. This individual recounted a disturbing experience of being shown a mobile home that was far from move-in ready, lacking essential features such as cabinets, windows, and doors. Despite its uninhabitable state, they were allegedly told they could move in the next day while work continued, including addressing a severe structural issue where one end of the trailer was precariously supported by "very unstable looking stacks of cinder blocks" on a steep slope. The reviewer was informed that this was temporary and would be replaced with actual stilts, supposedly while they and their family were living in the unfinished unit. Understandably, this individual declined the offer and reported never hearing back from the management after stating they would wait until the home was ready.
Another review focuses heavily on the perceived inadequacies of the property manager, stating, "I give this rate because of The property manager. She is not professional and lack management skills." This is a serious accusation, as effective property management is crucial for ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and harmonious living environment in any residential community, including a mobile home park. The reviewer goes on to list several specific grievances, including a lack of communication regarding water shut-offs, with tenants allegedly experiencing outages exceeding 24 hours without prior notice. Furthermore, there are claims of being "charged extra on water that we haven’t used," suggesting potential issues with billing accuracy or water usage monitoring.
The second reviewer also raises concerns about the property's upkeep, stating that "Landscape isn’t up to code." While the specifics of what constitutes "up to code" are not provided, this comment implies that the grounds and common areas of Melrose Mobile Home Park may not be adequately maintained or may be in violation of local regulations. Poor landscaping can contribute to a negative overall environment and potentially indicate a lack of attention to other maintenance aspects of the property.
The concluding remark of the second review is a strong warning to potential tenants: "Don’t move here there’s better location...." This direct advice from a former or current resident should be taken seriously by anyone considering Melrose Mobile Home Park as a place to live. It suggests that, in their opinion, there are more desirable and better-managed mobile home parks or other housing options available in the Jonesboro area.
Considering these two very negative reviews, it is difficult to ascertain any positive aspects of Melrose Mobile Home Park based on the information available online. The reviews highlight significant issues related to the condition of at least one of the mobile homes offered for rent or sale, potential structural safety concerns, alleged unprofessional management practices, lack of communication regarding essential utilities, questionable billing for water usage, and concerns about the landscaping and overall upkeep of the property.
It is important to note that these reviews represent individual experiences and may not reflect the entirety of the community or the experiences of all residents. However, the severity and nature of the complaints raised should prompt any potential resident to exercise extreme caution and seek further information from multiple sources before making any decisions about moving to Melrose Mobile Home Park.
For those searching for "RV parks near me" who might also be considering mobile home living as a longer-term option, the stark contrast between the typical expectations of a well-managed RV park and the issues raised in these reviews for Melrose Mobile Home Park is significant. While RV parks often emphasize amenities, community spaces, and responsive management to cater to temporary residents, a mobile home park should provide a stable and well-maintained environment for long-term residents. The issues described at Melrose Mobile Home Park appear to fall far short of these expectations.
Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback, it would be irresponsible to speculate on any positive features or services that might be offered at Melrose Mobile Home Park. The available information strongly suggests that potential residents should prioritize investigating other options in the Jonesboro area. This could involve researching other mobile home parks or RV parks that offer long-term residency, visiting those locations in person to assess their condition and speak with current residents, and checking for additional reviews or ratings online.
No promotional information is available for Melrose Mobile Home Park based on the provided data. In light of the serious concerns raised in the reviews, it is unlikely that potential residents would be swayed by any standard promotional language without significant evidence of improved conditions and management practices.
In conclusion, while Melrose Mobile Home Park is located in Jonesboro, Georgia, and might appear in searches for "RV parks near me" or other housing options, the available customer reviews raise significant red flags regarding the condition of the property and the professionalism of the management. Potential residents are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution, thoroughly investigate these concerns, and explore alternative housing options in the Jonesboro area before considering Melrose Mobile Home Park as a place to live. The reported issues of uninhabitable housing conditions, unprofessional management, lack of communication about essential services, questionable billing practices, and inadequate landscaping paint a concerning picture that warrants serious consideration and further scrutiny.

Melrose Mobile Home Park Reviews
This is the trashiest, sketchiest trailer park I've ever seen. The one they showed me was nowhere near ready, but they said I could move in the next day, and they'll just keep working on it. No cabinets, no windows, no doors. One end of the trailer was held up with very unstable looking stacks of cinder blocks because of the steep slope it was on. They said that was temporary. So, basically, they wanted to somehow do all this work, including replacing the cinder blocks with actual stilts, with my family and all our stuff in it. I said call me when it's ready. Never heard from them.

May 14, 2021 · veronica WilliamsHoles in roadway, homeless people living in abandoned homes, gun shots every week. Homeless people living in old cars and sheds on side of homes. Robberies, and break ins and home fires common. Not good for any one. Do your own research. Management service never answers phone calls, emails, Please be aware !!!!
Feb 07, 2021 · Ben MullinaxThey do not fix anything and have you moving in with things already broken or unsturdy. Every time it rained my son's room would flood. Back door didn't lock, no Central air or heat, tub was pealing paint, homeless people were staying there before I moved in, light bill was 300 after a month of living there, and alot of drugs in the area. I moved after four months!
