Mena Creekside RV Park Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" and yearning for a serene and relaxing escape in the heart of Mena, Arkansas, Mena Creekside RV Park presents itself as a hidden gem worth discovering. Located at 211 Polk County Rd 624, Mena, AR 71953, USA, this RV park offers a tranquil environment far removed from the noise and chaos of everyday life. You can reach them at (903) 571-0112 or +1 903-571-0112 to inquire about availability and experience the exceptional hospitality that awaits.
Based on the enthusiastic feedback from delighted guests, Mena Creekside RV Park stands out for its remarkably quiet and peaceful atmosphere. One reviewer humorously expressed their desire to keep this "gem all to myself," underscoring the park's exceptional appeal. They emphasized that if you appreciate a "noisy, rambunctious and disorderly way of life," then Mena Creekside is not for you, as it is the "absolute opposite of all of that." This strong endorsement highlights the park's commitment to providing a serene and undisturbed environment for its visitors.
Another guest echoed this sentiment, describing the park as "super quiet." They also noted the charming addition of a string of lights in the evening, which thoughtfully turned off around 10:30 pm, contributing to the peaceful nighttime ambiance. This attention to detail in creating a relaxing environment is a significant draw for those seeking respite from the hustle and bustle.
A particularly beloved feature of Mena Creekside RV Park, especially for families, is the inviting swimming hole. This natural amenity provided hours of enjoyment for the children of one reviewer. While the park literature indicates that the swimming hole is for campground members only, the reviewer noted that a good number of locals also frequented it. Although this didn't bother the reviewer's family, they did mention a slight feeling of unwelcomeness from some locals initially. However, once it was clear the RV park guests were staying, the locals eventually left. This suggests the swimming hole is a popular local spot, and while generally welcoming, there might be occasional interactions with non-guests.
The hospitality at Mena Creekside RV Park is consistently praised, with special mention of the host, Tommy. One reviewer described Tommy as an "excellent host" who went above and beyond to ensure their stay was enjoyable. He personally checked on guests every day, providing valuable weather updates (a thoughtful service given the lack of Wi-Fi and limited cell service in the area) and offering recommendations for local places to ride to and visit. Tommy also extended a unique and memorable experience to the children by allowing them to feed the catfish in his pond, showcasing a warm and personal touch that sets this park apart.
The natural terrain of the park includes a notably steep hill leading down to the swimming hole. While the children were naturally drawn to the water, the steepness presented a challenge for some. The reviewer mentioned that the adults in their group opted to use ATVs to access the swimming hole, highlighting a potential consideration for those with mobility issues or those traveling with younger children. However, for adventurous families, this natural feature adds to the unique charm of the location.
One significant drawback mentioned by a guest was the lack of Wi-Fi service and limited cell phone reception at Mena Creekside RV Park. For travelers who need to stay connected for work or other reasons, this can be a considerable inconvenience. One reviewer's husband had to travel to another resort to access Wi-Fi for work purposes. This suggests that while Mena Creekside excels in providing a peaceful natural retreat, it may not be ideal for those who require reliable internet connectivity. The reviewer indicated that while Mena Creekside would be their top choice for summer and winter getaways, they would need to seek out parks with Wi-Fi when their husband needed to work remotely.
Despite the lack of Wi-Fi, the overall experience at Mena Creekside RV Park is overwhelmingly positive, with guests consistently highlighting the tranquility, the beauty of the natural surroundings (implied by the creekside location and the swimming hole), and the exceptional hospitality of the host. The park seems to attract visitors who appreciate peace and quiet and enjoy outdoor activities like swimming. The personal touch provided by Tommy, such as the daily check-ins, weather updates, and the catfish feeding experience, creates a welcoming and memorable stay.
For local users seeking "RV parks near me" that offer a genuine escape into nature with a focus on peace and quiet, Mena Creekside RV Park in Mena, Arkansas, should be high on your list. The positive reviews emphasize the serene environment, the family-friendly swimming hole, and the outstanding hospitality. While the lack of Wi-Fi might be a consideration for some, for those looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in the tranquility of nature, Mena Creekside appears to be an ideal destination. Contact Tommy at (903) 571-0112 or +1 903-571-0112 to book your stay and experience this hidden gem for yourself. Be prepared to "kick back" and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of Mena Creekside RV Park.

Mena Creekside RV Park Reviews
I’m leaving this review under protest because I want to keep this gem all to myself!!! 🤪But seriously though, I can’t say enough good things about this place. We wanted to do something outside of the box this holiday weekend so we did our homework and decided to give this RV park a try. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! They have lifetime visitors with us now. Disregard this review if you like a noisy, rambunctious and disorderly way of life because this place is the absolute opposite of all of that! Thanks again and see y’all soon! 😉
Dec 02, 2024 · Amandanadam StanleyWe had a great time staying at Mena Creekside. The park was super quiet and a nice string of lights in the evening that went off around 10:30pm. The swimming hole was my kids favorite part. It says that it is for the campground members only but there were a good amount of locals enjoying it. It would not have bothered us except some of them acted like we were bothering them and once they realized we were not leaving and the kids were staying to swim, they left instead. Tommy is such an excellent host!! He came by and checked on us everyday. He would give us the weather update (no WiFi and cell service) and he gave us some good places to ride to and visit. He also let our kids head over to his pond to feed his catfish. The hill down to the water hole is super steep. Of course the kids always wanted to head down that way. The rest of us jumped in the ATVs to get to the water hole. This would be our #1 spot if they had any WiFi service. But instead this will be our go-to summer spot and our winter spot will be a park with WiFi. My husband has to work while we are on the road and this made it difficult. He had to ride or drive to another resort to use their WiFi.
Sep 03, 2024 · L HallThis is a very nice quiet park. We enjoyed our stay and when we return to Mena we plan to stay here again. There is a very beautiful swimming area next to the park if you like swimming. It was close enough to Wolfpen Gap we rode our side by side and did not have to trailer it.
Apr 27, 2025 · David MelanconMena Creekside is such an incredible little piece of heaven. Having never been to Mena, Tommy was a huge help in pointing us in the right direction on things to see and places to visit and they made us feel right at home. Panoramic views of the creek and neighboring hillside and the Wolfpen Gap trail system is just down the road. We will definitely be back for a summer visit when we can enjoy the refreshing waters right out the back door.
Mar 23, 2024 · TJ Van MatrePeaceful place! Fire wood galore! The sounds of water running down the creek was amazing. The Host (Tommy) what good Man. The prices are a little high. Thank you Tommy for having us. God willing, we’ll be back.
