Moore RV Park Introduce
For local residents in Dublin, Texas, and those searching for "RV parks near me" in the surrounding areas, Moore RV Park, located at 1205 FM 219, Dublin, TX 76446, USA, presents a community-oriented option with positive feedback regarding its cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. However, recent reviews also highlight a significant potential issue with the electrical service that local users should be aware of when considering a stay. This introduction aims to provide a balanced overview of Moore RV Park based on the available customer feedback, covering its environment, services, features, and noting both its strengths and reported weaknesses.
The environment of Moore RV Park is described by one reviewer as "nice and clean," which is a significant positive aspect for any RV park. Cleanliness contributes to a comfortable and enjoyable stay, suggesting that the park management takes pride in maintaining its grounds and facilities. This positive initial impression is further enhanced by the reviewer's experience of feeling like "family" due to the welcoming nature of everyone at the park. This suggests a friendly and inclusive community atmosphere where guests can feel at ease and connected with fellow travelers and possibly long-term residents.
Adding to the positive aspects of the environment, the same reviewer mentioned a unique feature: a pumpkin patch that was present during their stay. This indicates that Moore RV Park may host seasonal events or activities that contribute to a vibrant and engaging community experience. The presence of local people selling items like salsa, jelly, and food further enhances this community feel and provides guests with opportunities to interact with locals and purchase regional products. The reviewer specifically noted that this event was a "great time for the family" and provided an opportunity to obtain decorations, suggesting that Moore RV Park aims to create a family-friendly environment with activities that appeal to a range of ages.
However, a contrasting review highlights a serious potential issue with the park's electrical services. This reviewer reported being "forced to leave due to low voltage" after staying for eight days of a paid month-long stay. The issue specifically involved low voltage (104 volts) on one leg of the 50 amp service, which occurred in the afternoons and caused alarms in their RV and triggered their surge protector to shut off power. This indicates a potentially significant and recurring problem with the electrical infrastructure at Moore RV Park, at least on some sites.
The reviewer who experienced the low voltage issue also noted that the staff attempted to resolve the problem by replacing a breaker, but this did not fix the underlying issue. They were also informed by the staff that the park had previously had to have the power company change transformers due to low voltage, suggesting that this may be a known, recurring problem at the park. Furthermore, there was a disagreement regarding the reviewer's power usage, with staff arguing that they were pulling 52 amps, despite the understanding that a 50 amp service typically provides two 50 amp breakers totaling 100 amps of potential usage. This interaction suggests a potential lack of understanding of RV electrical systems by the park staff.
Despite the significant electrical issue, the reviewer did commend the staff for their fairness in refunding the unused portion of their monthly fee and only charging for the days they stayed. This indicates a level of integrity and customer service in handling the problem, even though the issue itself was disruptive and costly to the guest due to the need to run their generator on diesel.
In terms of services and features, Moore RV Park appears to offer full hookups for RVs, including 50 amp service, although the reliability of this service may be questionable based on the low voltage report. The mention of a pumpkin patch and local vendors suggests that the park may organize or host community events, providing opportunities for social interaction and local commerce. The friendly and family-like atmosphere reported by one reviewer indicates a focus on creating a welcoming environment for guests.
However, the lack of mention of other common RV park amenities, such as Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, or recreational areas, makes it difficult to ascertain the full range of services offered. Local users requiring these specific amenities should contact Moore RV Park directly to inquire about their availability.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. The positive feedback focuses on the welcoming atmosphere and community events, while the negative feedback highlights a serious electrical issue. Local users interested in potential discounts for local residents, long-term stay rates, or any other special offers should contact Moore RV Park directly at (254) 979-3967 or +1 254-979-3967 to inquire.
For local residents in Dublin and the surrounding areas searching for "RV parks near me," Moore RV Park offers a seemingly friendly and community-oriented environment with positive remarks about its cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere, including unique events like a pumpkin patch with local vendors. However, the reported significant issue with low voltage on the 50 amp electrical service is a serious concern that potential guests must consider. While the staff appears to have acted fairly in resolving the financial aspect for the affected guest, the underlying electrical problem could pose a risk to other RVers, especially those relying on consistent and adequate power for their appliances and safety systems.
Local users considering Moore RV Park should contact the management directly to inquire about the current status of their electrical system and whether the low voltage issue has been resolved. It would also be prudent to ask about the availability of other amenities and to weigh the positive reports of community and cleanliness against the potential risk of electrical problems. A conversation with the park management about this specific issue would be essential before making a decision to stay, especially for those with RVs requiring reliable 50 amp service.
In conclusion, Moore RV Park in Dublin, Texas, offers a potentially pleasant stay with a family-like atmosphere and community events. However, the reported significant issue with low voltage on the 50 amp electrical service is a serious concern that local users must investigate before considering this park for their RV accommodation needs. While the park has its positive aspects, the potential for electrical problems cannot be overlooked.

Moore RV Park Reviews
Nice and clean. Great place to stay. Everyone here has made us feel like family. Willing to come back anytime. Had a pumpkin patch while we were with them. With local people selling salsa, jelly, and food. Great time for the family and getting decor for our time with them.
Oct 05, 2024 · Heath LeeI feel the need to let campers know that we stayed here for eight days before we were forced to leave due to low voltage. We had paid for a month long stay. We had to run our generator every afternoon from about 1500-2100 hours due to low voltage on one leg of the 50 amp service (104 volts). The low voltage would set of alarms in my coach and my Progressive Surge Protector would shut the power off going into the coach. The staff replaced the breaker, not sure why, this changed nothing. The staff told me they had to have the power company change transformers once because of low voltage!! Staff observed my surge protector cycle through the power and they argued with me because I was pulling 52 amps!!! That would be 52 total amps on a 50 amp service plug which means 50 amps per breaker (50 service is two 50 amp breakers together) totaling 100 amps. The only good thing was the staff gave me back my monthly fee and only charged me for the days we actually stayed. I was out the diesel for my generator.
