Lost Creek RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" or considering cabin rentals in the Stephenville, Texas area, Lost Creek RV Park, situated at 1962 US-281, Stephenville, TX 76401, USA, presents a mixed picture based on recent online reviews. While one long-term tenant expresses satisfaction with the cabin accommodations and park environment, another individual recounts a negative interaction with the management regarding RV dumping services. It is crucial for potential local users to consider both perspectives when evaluating Lost Creek RV Park.
One reviewer, who moved to Lost Creek RV Park for work at the beginning of February, offers a positive account of their experience as a cabin renter. They found the rent for their furnished cabin to be "priced fairly" and appreciated the inclusive utilities, only being responsible for electricity costs while water and Wi-Fi are included. This can be a significant benefit for those seeking predictable monthly expenses. The tenant also praised the cleanliness and upkeep of the park, describing it as "always clean, well kempt, quiet," which suggests a well-maintained and peaceful living environment.
The park's location is also highlighted as advantageous, being "close to City Park and everything in town." This proximity to local amenities and recreational areas adds to the convenience of staying at Lost Creek RV Park, providing easy access to Stephenville's offerings. An additional service mentioned by the satisfied tenant is the owners dropping off mail and packages, which indicates a level of personalized service and attention to residents' needs.
Regarding the Wi-Fi service, the reviewer notes that it "can be spotty but most tenants are sharing it, and this is expected." This provides an honest assessment of the internet connectivity, suggesting that while available, its reliability might fluctuate due to shared usage. The laundry room is described as "clean," and the "machines work well," addressing a practical need for both RV and cabin residents. Overall, this long-term tenant expresses contentment with their choice, stating they are "glad I found this place and will probably stay here longer than I expected."
However, a contrasting experience is shared by another individual who attempted to use Lost Creek RV Park's dumping services for their RV. This person recounts a negative interaction with someone named Jason, whom they describe as "very rude." The reviewer explicitly states they "would not recommend staying here due to his poor attitude." They detail a previous positive experience using the park's dumping facilities a year prior, having called the office, spoken with an employee, received permission, paid, and successfully drained their tanks.
In the more recent encounter, when the same individual called with the same request, they were met with accusations of "dumping illegally" during their previous visit and were told to "never step foot on their property again." This starkly different experience highlights potential inconsistencies in management policies or communication, and raises concerns about customer service for those seeking even temporary services like RV dumping.
Based on these two reviews, the environment of Lost Creek RV Park appears to be generally clean and quiet, with a convenient location near local amenities. For long-term cabin renters, the inclusion of water and Wi-Fi in the rent, along with furnished units, presents a favorable living situation. The owners seem to offer some personalized services like mail delivery. However, potential RVers or those seeking temporary services should be aware of the reported negative interaction with the management, which raises concerns about consistent and positive customer service.
Specific details about the RV sites themselves – such as size, hookups (water, electricity, sewer), and layout – are not provided in these reviews. Similarly, information about other potential amenities for RV guests, like restrooms, showers, laundry facilities (though one tenant mentioned a clean and functional laundry room, it's unclear if this is solely for cabin renters), recreational areas, or pet policies, is absent. Therefore, local users with RVs will need to inquire directly about these aspects.
Given the limited and contrasting feedback, it is challenging to present a straightforward promotional overview of Lost Creek RV Park. The positive experience of the long-term cabin renter could serve as a positive point for those seeking furnished, inclusive-utility cabin rentals in a clean and convenient location. However, the negative account regarding the RV dumping service and the perceived rudeness of the management should give potential RV guests pause and necessitate thorough inquiry and perhaps seeking additional reviews from other RVers.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Stephenville, Lost Creek RV Park warrants further investigation. Key questions to ask when contacting them at (979) 436-3730 or +1 979-436-3730 should include:
- RV Site Availability and Details: Inquire about the size and type of RV sites, hookups available (water, electricity, sewer), and any associated costs.
- Amenities for RV Guests: Ask about the availability and condition of restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi access for RV sites, recreational areas, and pet policies.
- Management Policies: Seek clarity on the park's policies regarding services like RV dumping for non-guests and ensure consistent information is provided.
- Pricing for RV Sites: Obtain detailed information about daily, weekly, and monthly rates.
- Cabin Rental Details: If interested in cabins, confirm the furnishings provided, included utilities, and any specific terms or conditions.
In conclusion, Lost Creek RV Park in Stephenville, Texas, offers both RV sites and cabin rentals. While a long-term cabin tenant reports a positive experience regarding clean and well-kept surroundings, convenient location, and inclusive utilities, a separate incident highlights potential issues with management communication and customer service related to RV services. Local users considering Lost Creek RV Park should contact the management directly to gather comprehensive information about RV site amenities and policies, and weigh the positive feedback from the cabin renter against the negative account regarding management interaction to make an informed decision. Further research and potentially seeking additional reviews from RVers might also be beneficial before choosing Lost Creek RV Park for their stay.

Lost Creek RV Park Reviews
Jason was very rude, and I would not recommend staying here due to his poor attitude. (See screenshot of his response to my phone call). I had called and asked about dumping my Rv, as I had dumped at this RV park a year prior to this request with no problems. I had called their office, spoken with an employee and gotten the okay to drain my tanks. I arrived at the specified time, paid them and drained my tanks. Today when I called with the same request, I was accused of “dumping illegally” and told to “never step foot on their property again”.

Apr 24, 2023 · ThunderwoodI lived there for about 6 weeks and thought it would be great, but the management is rude and the manager hits on all the girls that live alone there. There were also tenants that moved in after the rest of us college students that would walk around the campers looking through our stuff. Not only did I not feel safe or a few other tenants, but we all got ripped off when it came to paying the electricity. They charge per kWh but then jack the price up 3x the actual usage amount! Internet And phone service are almost non exsistent there so if you plan on staying more than a night or two I suggest another place.
Oct 11, 2016 · Lexi BowenIt was after 5:00 pm when we pulled in to see if any RV sites were available for the night, and I called the cell # outside of the office, and a young man answered immediately, and said he would be there in a moment. He came to the office door within a minute to accommodate us. He was so very friendly to us, and I knew then we had come to the right place. Our site was nice and level, and the property was very well groomed. It was very quiet all evening and throughout the night. We were mapping another RV park on our phone when we stumbled upon Lost Creek, and we were so very glad we did. We will keep this RV Park in mind when we are back in the area again.
Jul 22, 2019 · Diane HainesI have enjoyed living here. Management has been awesome doing a great job keeping the park maintained. If at any point I had issues, they were addressed. I know I can come and go and never worry. I'd reccomend any time.
