Parkway Village Estates MHC TX LLC Introduce
For local users in the Nederland, Texas area exploring housing options beyond traditional apartments or single-family homes, mobile home parks can present an alternative. Parkway Village Estates MHC TX LLC, located at 3280 Landrey Blvd, Nederland, TX 77627, USA, is one such community in the vicinity. They can be reached at (409) 344-9194 or +1 409-344-9194 for inquiries.
While the platform category is "rv parks near me," it's important to clarify that Parkway Village Estates MHC TX LLC is a mobile home park, also known as a manufactured housing community. These communities typically offer long-term residency options where individuals or families either rent or own their mobile homes and lease the land on which they are situated. Understanding the environment, services, features, and management practices of such communities is crucial for prospective residents. The following introduction is based solely on the provided customer reviews, offering an objective compilation of their experiences.
Environment and Location: Parkway Village Estates MHC TX LLC is located on Landrey Blvd in Nederland, Texas. The reviews provide some insight into the environmental challenges the community has faced. One resident, who moved in shortly before Hurricane Harvey, recounts severe flooding during both Harvey and Tropical Storm Imelda, requiring boat rescue during the former and experiencing even worse flooding during the latter. This history of significant flooding is a critical environmental factor for potential residents to consider, especially given the low-lying nature of the roads within the community, which one reviewer notes "never do they drain." This suggests a persistent issue with water accumulation after rainfall.
Beyond flooding, another environmental aspect raised by a resident concerns tree maintenance. The reviewer mentions having to pay over a thousand dollars for tree trimming of branches overhanging their home after requests to management were allegedly ignored. They also reported a lack of assistance with the removal of a dead tree on their property. These accounts suggest potential issues with grounds maintenance and the responsibility for upkeep between residents and management.
The reviews also touch upon the overall aesthetic and infrastructure of the community. The mention of a former pool ("There was a pool, no more after Harvey") indicates that amenities can be impacted by environmental events and may not be restored. Additionally, a resident reported a "colasps drive" (likely a collapsed driveway) that management allegedly did not address, further pointing to potential neglect of infrastructure maintenance.
Services and Management: The customer reviews offer strong opinions about the management of Parkway Village Estates MHC TX LLC. One recurring theme is a perceived lack of care and responsiveness towards residents' needs. The first reviewer explicitly states, "They do not care about there residence at all. I am so sorry I moved there," citing the lack of assistance with tree maintenance and the collapsed driveway as evidence.
The second reviewer echoes this negative sentiment, warning, "You will regret if you stay here!" and describing the manager as an "old lady" who "has nothing to do other than bother people." This reviewer provides specific examples of what they consider unreasonable rules and enforcement, such as allegedly having cars towed for being parked on the street outside a home for more than 10 minutes. They also claim that while residents are charged for various things that "make no sense," the management has "no money fix the streets and stop them from keep flooding every time it rains." This paints a picture of a management style perceived as both intrusive and ineffective in addressing essential community maintenance.
Furthermore, the second reviewer mentions a policy regarding subletting, stating, "if you buy a Mobil home and leave it here, you can not rent it to someone else.. it doesn't matter if you keep paying all the bills the old lady ask you for." This policy could significantly impact homeowners within the community who might need to relocate temporarily or permanently and wish to lease their property to offset costs.
The absence of any positive feedback regarding management in the provided reviews is notable and suggests a prevailing negative perception among these former or current residents.
Features and Unique Aspects: Based on the limited information, it is difficult to ascertain unique positive features of Parkway Village Estates MHC TX LLC. The historical presence of a pool, now defunct due to Hurricane Harvey, suggests that recreational amenities may have existed in the past but are no longer available. The primary feature appears to be its provision of land for lease to mobile homeowners in the Nederland area.
However, the negative reviews highlight aspects that could be considered unique, albeit undesirable. These include the reported strict and seemingly arbitrary rules (e.g., the towing policy), the alleged lack of investment in infrastructure maintenance (e.g., roads, drainage), and the restrictive policy on subletting owned mobile homes within the community.
The location in Nederland might be a feature for those specifically seeking residency in this area, potentially due to proximity to work, family, or local amenities. However, the reviews do not elaborate on the park's specific location within Nederland or its accessibility to local services.
Promotional Information: The provided information does not contain any promotional details for Parkway Village Estates MHC TX LLC. Mobile home parks typically have fees associated with lot rental, and these can vary based on the size of the lot, its location within the community, and the services included. Potential residents would need to contact the management directly to inquire about current lot rental rates, any applicable fees, and the terms of the lease agreement. Given the negative feedback regarding charges for unspecified things, it would be prudent for prospective residents to obtain a clear and comprehensive breakdown of all costs involved.
The absence of any positive testimonials or mentions of community events or amenities in the provided reviews suggests that there is no readily available promotional information from residents. The strong negative sentiments expressed serve as a cautionary note for anyone considering residency.
Objective Summary: Parkway Village Estates MHC TX LLC in Nederland, Texas, is a mobile home park offering land for lease to mobile homeowners. Based on the provided customer reviews, the community has faced significant environmental challenges, including severe flooding during Hurricane Harvey and Tropical Storm Imelda, with persistent drainage issues on the roads. Residents have reported a lack of responsiveness from management regarding maintenance requests, such as tree trimming and driveway repairs. There are also allegations of strict and seemingly unreasonable rules, including a towing policy for cars parked briefly on the street, and charges for unspecified items, while essential infrastructure like roads and drainage are reportedly neglected. Furthermore, a policy prohibits homeowners from renting out their properties within the community, even while continuing to pay all fees. The overall sentiment expressed in the reviews is overwhelmingly negative, with residents strongly advising against moving into or staying at Parkway Village Estates MHC TX LLC. Prospective residents should be extremely cautious and seek comprehensive information and potentially speak with current residents before considering this community.
For local users in Nederland, Texas, seeking mobile home park options, the experiences shared by these reviewers paint a concerning picture of Parkway Village Estates MHC TX LLC. The history of flooding, alleged neglect of maintenance, strict and unpopular rules, and a restrictive subletting policy are significant factors that potential residents should carefully consider. It is strongly recommended to conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the property, speaking with current residents (if possible), and obtaining a clear understanding of all rules, fees, and lease terms before making any decisions regarding residency at Parkway Village Estates MHC TX LLC.

Parkway Village Estates MHC TX LLC Reviews
Well I moved in 1 month before Harvey and it flooded horriably. Rescued by boat. Then it flooded again in Imelda actually worst than Harvey. I have asked the manager to cut trees due to being on my house and I had to pay over a thousand dollars for tree trimming. I again asked to have a dead tree removed from the property again no help. The roads are horrible Low lining never do they drain. There was a pool, no more after Harvey. Asked management to take care of my colasps drive again no help. They do not care about there residence at all. I am so sorry I moved there.
Oct 24, 2019 · KeithYou will regret if you stay here! The old lady(manager) has nothing to do other than bother people. She will make sure your car got towed away if you leave it out of your home at the street for more than 10 min. Rules here are ridiculous, they charge for things that makes no sense but they have no money fix the streets and stop them from keep flooding every time it rains. Me and my family had to evacuate from Harvey and this was the trash we were able to find. We won't stay here never! Something else.. if you buy a Mobil home and leave it here, you can not rent it to someone else.. it doesn't matter if you keep paying all the bills the old lady ask you for.
Jul 14, 2018 · Jhona CrIt is the only park in the Nederland school district where you can still move a mobile home into. They also allow travel trailers. Lot fee is about $300 per month plus electricity and water. Sewage and garbage is included in lot price. Management keeps the place looking good. Grass must be cut regularly along with pressure washing the houses and anything else that might make the neighborhood look less desirable.

Nov 05, 2024 · E MacManagement picks and chooses who follows what. I've had problems just being a visitor. If you go to visit anyone there, prepare to give them your life history, including a copy of your driver's license. I was also asked to provide a copy of my social security card to be a visitor. I ended up having to get ahold of the owner, who lives in Florida, to get matters settled. He promised to widen the driveways to accommodate two vehicles, since they are all different sizes and you're not allowed to park in the grass.. He has still yet to start doing that after 6 months.
