Plantation Mobile Home Park Introduce
For individuals and families seeking residential options in Leesburg, Georgia, and perhaps initially searching under the category of "RV parks near me," Plantation Mobile Home Park, located at 795 US-82, Leesburg, GA 31763, USA, presents itself as a mobile home community. While primarily catering to mobile homes, some such parks may also accommodate recreational vehicles for extended stays. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of Plantation Mobile Home Park based on the available customer feedback online, combined with general knowledge about mobile home park environments and potential services for RVs.
The available customer reviews for Plantation Mobile Home Park offer contrasting perspectives on the management and living conditions. One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction, stating that the "Landlord doesn't fix things when suppose to" and reported frequent police presence at neighboring houses ("sheriff's always at park day and night at two neighbors house for complaint"). This review also mentioned specific unresolved maintenance issues within their own residence, such as unfixed doors and missing or broken screens, despite consistent rent payments. These allegations raise concerns about the responsiveness of the management to maintenance requests and the overall safety and stability of the community environment.
In contrast, another reviewer provided a more positive assessment, describing Plantation Mobile Home Park as a "joint owned park" managed by a couple, with "Dennis" being the landlord specifically mentioned. This reviewer found Dennis to be a "pretty decent landlord" whose "trailers are very decently priced" and who is "willing to work with you to a degree." This suggests that at least some residents have a positive experience with the management and find the housing costs reasonable. The reviewer also acknowledged that the park was significantly impacted by Hurricane Harvey but noted that "dennis has gotten it looking good again," indicating efforts towards recovery and upkeep of the property.
However, even the positive reviewer identified a potential area for improvement, stating, "I think the only thing he lacks is more help around the park." This suggests that while the landlord may be well-intentioned, the park might be understaffed, potentially contributing to delays in maintenance or other services. Overall, this reviewer gave Plantation Mobile Home Park a rating of "4 out of 5 stars" and indicated they "would rent from here again," suggesting a generally satisfactory experience despite the acknowledged limitations.
Considering the category "RV parks near me," the information available does not explicitly state whether Plantation Mobile Home Park accommodates recreational vehicles. However, it is common for mobile home parks to occasionally have space for RVs, particularly for longer-term residents seeking a more affordable or community-oriented living situation compared to traditional RV parks. If Plantation Mobile Home Park does offer RV sites, potential RV residents would likely be interested in knowing about the availability and type of utility hookups (electricity, water, sewer), the size and accessibility of the sites, and any amenities specifically provided for RVs.
Given the mixed reviews, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in Leesburg, GA, who might be considering Plantation Mobile Home Park should inquire specifically about their policies regarding RVs. The concerns raised by one reviewer about maintenance responsiveness and neighborhood issues should be carefully considered, while the positive feedback about the landlord's pricing and willingness to work with tenants offers a more encouraging perspective.
Based on the available information, the environment of Plantation Mobile Home Park appears to be a community recovering from hurricane damage, with ongoing efforts to improve its appearance. The presence of alleged neighborhood disturbances and unaddressed maintenance issues reported by one resident contrasts with another's positive experience with the landlord and the pricing of the homes. The services likely include basic infrastructure for residential living, such as water, sewage, and possibly trash disposal. Residents in mobile homes would typically be responsible for their own utility connections (electricity, gas if applicable) and arranging for services like internet and cable. The availability and nature of services for RVs, if permitted, would need to be specifically inquired about.
Features of Plantation Mobile Home Park that can be inferred include potentially affordable housing options and a landlord who is described as "decent" and "willing to work with you." The ongoing recovery from hurricane damage suggests a park that is in a process of improvement. However, the reported lack of timely maintenance and neighborhood issues are significant factors to consider. The park being couple-owned might imply a more personal management style, as suggested by the positive reviewer's experience with Dennis.
There is no explicit promotional information available in the provided data, such as discounts or special offers. However, the positive reviewer's mention of "very decently priced" trailers could be seen as an indication of affordability within the local housing market.
For local users in Leesburg, GA, searching under "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living at Plantation Mobile Home Park, the next step would be to contact the management directly at (229) 349-1001 or +1 229-349-1001. Inquiries should focus on: the park's policies regarding RVs (if any), the availability and cost of RV sites and hookups, the process for renting or purchasing mobile homes, the typical response time for maintenance requests, the community rules and regulations, and any measures being taken to address the neighborhood concerns raised in one of the reviews. A visit to Plantation Mobile Home Park would also be advisable to assess the current conditions firsthand and speak with current residents (if possible) to gain a broader understanding of the living experience.
In conclusion, Plantation Mobile Home Park in Leesburg, GA, presents a mixed picture based on the limited online reviews. While one resident reported significant issues with maintenance and neighborhood disturbances, another found the landlord to be decent and the prices reasonable, noting ongoing recovery efforts after a hurricane. For those searching under "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living, thorough due diligence, including direct contact with the management and a potential site visit, is crucial to determine if Plantation Mobile Home Park meets their individual needs and expectations.

Landlord doesn't fix things when suppose to and sheriff's always at park day and night at two neighbors house for complaint. We pay rent every month and our doors aren't fixed yet or screens still not put in/ fixed.
Feb 05, 2022 · Susan PooleThis is a joint owned park. I mean it is a couple owned park. Dennis is a pretty decent landlord. His trailers are very decently priced and he is willing to work with you to a degree of course. I think the only thing he lacks is more help around the park. While the hurricane (harvey) hit if pretty hard dennis has gotten it looking good again. 4 out of 5 stars would rent from here again
