Plantation R.V. Park Introduce
For local residents and travelers seeking "RV parks near me" in the Robeline, Louisiana area, Plantation R.V. Park, situated at 2835 LA-485, Robeline, LA 71469, USA, offers a clean and quiet option for overnight stays or short visits. With contact numbers (318) 315-1449 and +1 318-315-1449 readily available, inquiries about this park can be easily made. Based on the available customer reviews, Plantation R.V. Park is noted for its cleanliness, reasonable pricing, and quiet atmosphere, making it a decent choice for those passing through the region.
The environment at Plantation R.V. Park is described as a "clean small campground," which suggests a well-maintained and intimate setting. The emphasis on cleanliness is a significant positive aspect, indicating that the park management prioritizes hygiene and upkeep, contributing to a more pleasant stay for guests. While the park is noted as small, this can often translate to a more personal and less crowded experience compared to larger RV parks.
One of the mentioned drawbacks of Plantation R.V. Park is the lack of Wi-Fi. In today's connected world, internet access is often a crucial amenity for travelers. However, one reviewer noted that a personal hotspot worked well at the park, providing a potential alternative for those who require internet connectivity. This suggests that while the park does not provide Wi-Fi, cellular service in the area may be sufficient for using personal hotspots or mobile data.
Another observation from a reviewer was the apparent absence of a trash dump or a lack of clear signage indicating its location. Proper waste disposal is an essential service for any campground, and the uncertainty about trash facilities could be a concern for some guests. It would be advisable for potential visitors to inquire about the park's trash disposal procedures and the location of any designated areas.
A significant advantage of Plantation R.V. Park is its "very reasonable" pricing. Affordability is a key factor for many travelers, and a park that offers clean and quiet accommodations at a good price point can be particularly attractive, especially for those on a budget or making brief stopovers.
Despite the lack of Wi-Fi and the uncertainty about trash disposal, Plantation R.V. Park does offer "laundry facilities available." This is a valuable amenity, especially for travelers on longer journeys who need to take care of their laundry. Having on-site laundry can save guests time and the inconvenience of finding external laundromats.
One reviewer noted a "strong chlorine odor" in the water. While chlorinated water is typically safe for use, a strong odor might be off-putting to some individuals. It would be beneficial for the park to address this issue or provide information to guests about the water quality and treatment processes.
The park is described as "quiet," which aligns with the earlier observation of a peaceful environment. However, one reviewer also mentioned "some hiway noise behind sites." This suggests that while the park itself is quiet, its proximity to a highway might result in some ambient noise, particularly for sites located closer to the road. Light sleepers might want to inquire about site locations relative to the highway when making reservations.
Overall, one reviewer concluded that Plantation R.V. Park is a "decent one or two nite stop over campground" and indicated a willingness to stay there again when passing through. This suggests that the park serves its purpose well for short stays, offering a clean and quiet place to rest. Another reviewer echoed this sentiment, calling it an "awesome park for a couple of overnights" and also expressing intent to stay again when passing through.
An additional positive aspect mentioned by one of the reviewers was the helpfulness of the owner, who directed them to a "fun festival in Nacogdoches," located about 20 miles away. This suggests that the park owners are knowledgeable about the local area and willing to provide recommendations for activities and attractions. The proximity to Nacogdoches, a larger town with various amenities and events, could be a draw for guests looking to explore the region.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the reviews. Local users interested in staying at Plantation R.V. Park are encouraged to contact them directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about current rates, availability, and any potential discounts for local residents or for longer stays beyond a night or two. It would also be prudent to ask about the trash disposal facilities and the water situation to ensure a comfortable stay.
In conclusion, Plantation R.V. Park in Robeline, Louisiana, offers a clean and quiet environment at a reasonable price, making it a suitable option for overnight or short stopovers for those traveling through the area. The availability of laundry facilities is a plus. However, the lack of Wi-Fi, potential highway noise, and concerns about trash disposal and water odor should be considered. The helpfulness of the owner and the proximity to Nacogdoches are additional factors that might influence a decision to stay at this park. Local users seeking "RV parks near me" for a brief and budget-friendly stay in this part of Louisiana may find Plantation R.V. Park to be a decent option, provided they are aware of its limitations and potential advantages.

Plantation R.V. Park Reviews
Clean small campground. No wifi...Hotspot worked well tho. No trash dump or at least we didn't see one. Priced very reasonable. It does have laundry facilities available. The water had a strong chlorine odor. Quiet park, does have some hiway noise behind sites. Decent one or two nite stop over campground. We'd stop again passing thru.
