Progress Mobile Home Park Introduce
Welcome to Progress Mobile Home Park, a mobile home community located at 6101 NW 120th Ln in Gainesville, Florida. For local users searching for "mobile home parks near me" and considering budget-friendly living options, Progress Mobile Home Park offers a community setting with a focus on understanding resident needs, particularly during challenging times.
While the platform category provided is "rv parks near me," it's important to note that Progress Mobile Home Park is designed for long-term residential living in mobile homes rather than short-term RV stays. However, the fundamental need for affordable and community-based housing remains a key consideration for many individuals and families. Therefore, this introduction will focus on the characteristics and environment of Progress Mobile Home Park as a potential long-term living solution for local users.
Based on the available customer reviews, Progress Mobile Home Park presents a mixed picture. One resident notes that it is "really not a bad place to live," highlighting the understanding nature of the current management, specifically mentioning Detra Ann and Tara. This reviewer appreciates their empathetic approach during difficult times, describing it as "the biggest blessing to have when you're down on ur luck." This suggests a management team that prioritizes resident well-being and demonstrates compassion.
However, other feedback points out areas that require attention and improvement. One significant concern raised is the difficulty in locating the park due to a lack of visible signage from US HWY 441. The reviewer states, "Very difficult to find this place - No sign to mark the location or main entrance is visible from US HWY 441. Actually no sign at all." This lack of clear identification could pose a challenge for new residents or visitors trying to find the park for the first time.
Another area of concern mentioned is the condition of the infrastructure within the park. The same reviewer notes that "the streets inside the park are all damaged, not easy to drive a car." Poor road conditions can impact residents' daily lives and the overall quality of the community. Additionally, the lack of visible identification numbers on most trailers ("Most of trailers have no visible identification #") could create confusion for visitors, delivery services, and even emergency responders.
The first review also mentions that the park is "a lil run down as far as roads n nothing modern like laundry mat or parks for small children." This indicates that while the current management is reportedly working on improvements ("the ladies that now run it are trying to get on top of things"), the park may currently lack some common amenities found in more modern mobile home communities, such as on-site laundry facilities or dedicated play areas for children.
Despite these challenges, the positive feedback regarding the understanding management suggests a potential for improvement and a supportive community environment. The willingness of the management to work with residents facing hard times can be a significant advantage for those seeking an affordable living situation with a degree of flexibility and empathy.
Given the limited information about specific amenities and the overall environment beyond the road conditions and lack of certain modern facilities, local users considering Progress Mobile Home Park should be prepared for a community that may be undergoing improvements. The absence of a laundry mat and children's park might be a drawback for some, while the understanding management could be a significant benefit for others.
Based on the category "mobile home parks near me," it is reasonable to assume that Progress Mobile Home Park offers basic utilities hookups for each mobile home lot, such as water, electricity, and sewer. However, the reviews do not provide specific details about the quality or reliability of these services.
Promotional information is not available in the provided text. However, the implicit message from one reviewer is that the park may be a suitable option for individuals facing financial difficulties who require understanding and flexibility from management.
Local users interested in learning more about Progress Mobile Home Park, including lot availability, rental rates, and the progress of any planned improvements, are strongly encouraged to contact the park directly at (386) 462-1660 or +1 386-462-1660. Speaking with the management will provide the most current and detailed information about the park's current state and future plans.
In conclusion, Progress Mobile Home Park in Gainesville, Florida, presents itself as an affordable housing option with a management team that has been recognized for its understanding and supportive approach towards residents, particularly those facing difficult circumstances. However, potential residents should also be aware of the reported challenges, including the difficulty in finding the park due to a lack of signage and the damaged road conditions within the community. The park also currently lacks some modern amenities like a laundry mat and children's play areas, although the new management indicates an effort to address these issues. For local users seeking a budget-friendly option and valuing empathetic management, Progress Mobile Home Park may be worth further investigation. Direct communication with the park management is crucial to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current living conditions and any ongoing improvements.
