River Cities RV Park Introduce
If you're searching for 'RV parks near me' in the Boyce, Louisiana area, River Cities RV Park, located at 7213 LA-1, Boyce, LA 71409, USA, presents itself as a potentially excellent option, particularly for those seeking a clean and well-organized overnight stop. Based on the available customer reviews, the park offers several appealing features, though it's important to consider all aspects before making a decision.
One of the most positive aspects highlighted by a recent visitor is the overall cleanliness of River Cities RV Park. The reviewer specifically mentioned that the park is "super clean," extending this observation to the pull-through cement pads and the bathroom facilities. Cleanliness is a paramount concern for many RV travelers, and this positive feedback suggests that River Cities RV Park prioritizes hygiene and maintenance, contributing to a comfortable and pleasant stay. For those prioritizing a clean environment in their search for 'RV parks near me', this park appears to meet that criterion.
Convenience is another key feature noted by the same reviewer. The park's system for after-hours arrivals is efficient, with site numbers and gate codes provided via email. This allows for a seamless check-in process, particularly beneficial for travelers arriving late or needing a quick overnight stop. The presence of pull-through cement pads is also a significant advantage for many RVers, as these sites simplify parking and departure, especially for larger rigs. This ease of access and setup can make for a less stressful travel day.
The reviewer also explicitly stated that they would "definitely recommend" River Cities RV Park, indicating a high level of satisfaction with their experience. They also mentioned hearing the train, which is a common occurrence in many areas and might be a factor for light sleepers to consider. However, in this case, the train noise did not prevent the reviewer from getting a good night's rest, suggesting it might not be overly disruptive.
On the other hand, another potential guest shared a different perspective based on the park's policies. This individual was looking to stay at River Cities RV Park but decided against it after learning that military discounts are not offered and that the park has a non-refundable policy. These are important considerations for travelers, particularly those who are eligible for military discounts or those who prefer more flexible cancellation options. The non-refundable policy could be a drawback for individuals whose travel plans are uncertain or prone to change.
In a response to a 3-star rating, seemingly from the owner of River Cities RV Park, further insights into the park's offerings are provided. The owner highlights the presence of concrete pads and security cameras as features contributing to the daily rate. This suggests that the park invests in infrastructure and security, which can be significant benefits for RV travelers seeking a safe and well-maintained environment for their vehicles and belongings. Security cameras can provide peace of mind, and concrete pads offer a stable and clean parking surface.
However, the reviewer who gave the 3-star rating also pointed out that despite these amenities, the park is considered "very basic" for its daily rate when compared to competitors in the area. They suggested that potential guests should look at what other 'RV parks near me' offer for a similar price point. This highlights the importance of comparing amenities and pricing when choosing an RV park, as different parks may offer varying levels of services and facilities for similar costs.
To make an informed decision about River Cities RV Park, potential guests should consider their individual needs and priorities. If cleanliness, convenience for overnight stays, and the presence of pull-through cement pads are high on the list, and if a non-refundable policy is not a major concern, this park appears to be a strong contender. The mention of security cameras also adds to the appeal for those prioritizing safety.
However, if a military discount is important, or if flexibility in cancellation is desired, River Cities RV Park might not be the best fit. Additionally, travelers seeking a wide range of amenities beyond the basics of concrete pads and clean bathrooms might want to explore other options in the vicinity to compare what is offered for the price.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of River Cities RV Park, it would be beneficial to contact them directly using the provided phone numbers, (318) 880-7275 or +1 318-880-7275. Inquiring about their specific amenities (such as Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, recreational areas, etc.), their cancellation policy in detail, and their pricing structure for different lengths of stay would be advisable. Additionally, asking about any potential discounts that might be available could be worthwhile.
In conclusion, River Cities RV Park offers a clean and convenient option for those searching for 'RV parks near me' in Boyce, LA, particularly for overnight stays. The pull-through cement pads and clean facilities are definite advantages. However, the lack of a military discount and the non-refundable policy are important factors to consider. Comparing the park's offerings and pricing with other nearby RV parks will help potential guests determine if River Cities RV Park meets their specific needs and preferences for their RV travel.

River Cities RV Park Reviews
Great place! We stopped over for the night, they emailed our site number and gate code. Super clean, pull through cement pads, bathrooms were very clean. Definitely would recommend. We did hear the train, but did not stop us from a good nights rest.
Jan 19, 2025 · Belinda JordanI was looking to stay at this location, however after discovering that military discount are not offered AND their non-refundable policy, I decided to spend my money elsewhere.RESPONSE TO OWNER:You can disagree with my 3 star rating, but I am also taking into consideration that while you do offer concrete pads, security cameras, etc., it is still very basic for the daily rate. Look at what your competition down the road offers for the same price. Wishing you good luck.
Dec 19, 2024 · Rob MartinezI HAVE NEVER STAYED AT AN RV PARK MORE MONEY HUNGRY THAN THIS ONE!!! Nice clean park but if you are not off the grounds at check out time you will get charged for an extra night , not just a late fee!!! As a business I feel there should be a grace period. Money is tight enough from just traveling for a child to play ball without being slapped with another night.
Oct 20, 2024 · Lauren BakerWe were hesitant to stay in an RV park with no on-site management but this park proved us wrong. The park was CLEAN, restrooms were clean & the on line management gave us great directions with a gate code, wi-fi code, etc. It was easy on-off for the interstate and a quiet park. We definitely give them 5 stars. (Would give higher if I could with a few trees added!) If we ever pass this way again, we will stay here!
Sep 20, 2024 · Karen HollowayNeeded a place to stay on I-49 and this was at a good daily stop point. Never tried this type of concept. All automated and done on-line. The park has gravel roads but the sites are concrete pads. There is grass between the sites. Everything was new, clean and neat. The utilities worked good. This is clearly designed for travelers passing through the area - but would work great for anyone visiting the area. For our purposes - this type of RV stop was perfect. The only complaint is that it may be priced a bit to high for its location. Otherwise, no complaints and we would stop here again.
