Based on the positive feedback from recent customers, Rutlader Outpost RV Park offers a friendly, community-oriented environment with practical amenities and a peaceful setting.
One of the standout features of Rutlader Outpost RV Park, as highlighted by a guest who stayed for over six months, is its strong sense of community. They describe the park as being "like a little neighborhood," emphasizing the friendly and welcoming nature of both the staff (owners) and the other residents. This neighborly atmosphere can be particularly appealing to travelers seeking a more personal and connected experience during their stay. For those on extended work assignments or looking for a temporary community, Rutlader Outpost RV Park seems to foster a positive social environment.
The park's management receives high praise, with the reviewer noting that the people who work there and own the place are "super nice." This positive interaction with the owners and staff can significantly enhance the overall experience, providing a sense of care and attentiveness to the needs of the guests. Their willingness to assist and create a welcoming atmosphere contributes to the park's positive reputation.
For families traveling with children, Rutlader Outpost RV Park appears to be a great option. The long-term guest mentioned that their "kids had a blast all summer," suggesting that the park offers a safe and enjoyable environment for children to play and interact. While specific kid-friendly amenities are not detailed, the overall friendly and community-oriented atmosphere likely contributes to a positive experience for families.
A significant advantage of Rutlader Outpost RV Park is its peaceful location. The reviewer specifically notes that the park is "far enough away from the interstate that it’s nice and quiet for sleeping." This is a crucial factor for many RV travelers who prioritize a restful night's sleep away from highway noise. The quiet environment enhances the overall relaxation and enjoyment of the stay.
Practical amenities also contribute to the convenience of staying at Rutlader Outpost RV Park. The availability of "propane refills on the premises" is highlighted as "super convenient," saving guests the hassle of having to travel elsewhere to replenish their propane tanks. Additionally, the park offers a simple mail system with someone "always available to receive packages," providing added convenience for both short-term and long-term guests who may need to receive mail or deliveries.
Another reviewer echoes the positive sentiment, describing Rutlader Outpost RV Park as a "Great place." They specifically mention the "clean laundry" facilities, which are essential for travelers needing to take care of their laundry needs. This indicates that the park pays attention to maintaining clean and functional amenities for its guests.
While the overall experience is positive, one reviewer points out an area for potential improvement: the enforcement of the dog leash rule and the need for pet owners to clean up after their dogs. They note that dog waste is "everywhere you walk," suggesting that this is a recurring issue that detracts from the park's otherwise pleasant environment. This feedback indicates that while the park is generally nice, stricter enforcement of pet policies would enhance the cleanliness and enjoyment for all guests.
Despite this concern, the reviewer still considers Rutlader Outpost RV Park a "nice park" and appreciates its location "not far from the main city." This offers a balance between a quieter, more rural setting and convenient access to urban amenities and services. The park's location in a "beautiful farm country area" is also highlighted, with mentions of "awesome" sunsets and the presence of local wildlife such as a "cool fox" and "tons of rabbits," adding to the natural charm and appeal of the surroundings.
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Louisburg, KS area, Rutlader Outpost RV Park offers a compelling combination of a friendly community atmosphere, helpful management, quiet location away from the interstate, and convenient amenities like propane refills and clean laundry. Rutlader Outpost RV Park Reviews
We stayed here for over 6 months for a work assignment and the place is like a little neighborhood. Super nice people who work there and own the place, the neighbors are all very nice and friendly. My kids had a blast all summer! The park is far enough away from the interstate that it’s nice and quiet for sleeping. Getting mail is simple and someone always available to receive packages. There’s propane refills on the premises which is super convenient. I’d come stay again in a second!
Dec 08, 2024 · Erin SweetGreat place. Clean laundry. They need to enforce the dog lease rule more than they do. And people need to clean up after their dogs. It’s everywhere you walk. Otherwise it’s a nice park. Not far from the main city. It’s a beautiful farm country area as well and sunsets are awesome out here. And there is a cool fox that roams the property. Tons of rabbits around as well.

In addition, the staff is helpful and works hard to make it a nice, clean place to stay.
Apr 05, 2023 · Theresa EI am going to highly recommend this park. First of all, there is ZERO drama. That's high on my list of places to go. This place has a cute little dog park, a nice walkway behind the park, down the road from a little lake (walkable)The pros: It's quiet, the children in the park are very well mannered, no drama, not a lot of light pollution, owners are great and accommodating, and everything is clean. The cons: mostly permanent residents. Run down campers, broken down campers. Kind of an eye sore.
Sep 04, 2024 · Grumpy LawrenceHighly recommend! Great place to fill up on propane for my rv generator, get supplies, dump your tanks, or stay for a few nights or longer.
