Pops Rv Park Reviews
I stayed at Pop's campground for 5.5 months. The guy who runs the place, John, is very easy to get along with. They are very dog friendly. It's not fancy, but it is cheap.
Oct 16, 2024 · Kevin WebsterI have lived there for just over a year. Ithaca been a very quiet park. It is mainly men who are working out of town and pretty much keep to themselves. The park is well tooking care of and the owner is very easy to get along with.
Nov 04, 2022 · William WinklerThis place is burried deep in Google. Located on 6th and Kelly , one mile from 169 hwy and mound city exit. The owner passed away and his son John Klein took it over. He built a shop and offers sales of out buildings.Upon my arrival only one other camper here. He offers long term camping that today its $480 monthly or $550 if you have one with a carport. He is strict about having money on time because he is an HVAC repairman, doesn't have time to visit daily. If you don't have your Fee on rime, he shuts off electricity abd water to your camper. Doesn't matter to him if your on life support! He feels he offers a cheap place to live, its your job to pay! So yup, i had a few hot dark nights my first month in July trying to get stable! Lol Being on edge if town, by the river and railroad tracks, it offers a country like feeling. Deer will cross the pasture and hill, can hear the wild life at dark and the stars in the sky are bright at night!I dont care for the sharp tough pasture type grass, the mosquitoes, bugs, spiders are overpopulated in my opinion. So despite that and the owner not having good social desires, aka, he can be a jerk, and he apologizes for that because he knows he is a jerk, but overall, this is a pretty nice spot with full service hook up, down the street from historical down town, shops, dining, gas, food... I'm surprised its not a full camp!
Jul 26, 2019 · Dee Monga McDowellOnly reason I give this place 4 stars is, there is no wifi. There is a laundry right down the street, and the park is nice and quiet. The owner is a great guy, and I stay here at least once a year for work.
Nov 12, 2021 · Jesse HarveyPops RV Park is ran by an awesome man named John. He is sometimes hard to get ahold of but he has a good spot at a great rate. I would definitely recommend staying here.
