Beware, you'll be bamboozled!They had us believing up until the very end that they were going to match our down-payment if we used our taxes for it.They did not. We were given a projected closing date, and everything looked amazing. We were very compliant and did everything (and much more) that was asked of us. While securing funding- they said "is there any way you can come up with another 4k(and some change) as the down payment? We can't just cut a check to the mortgage lender, so we have to take that matching balance off of the price of the home, " which ultimately screwed us in getting the home. Zippy wouldn't allow us funding unless we had that full down-payment, and Conestoga chose to back out last second.There was ZERO disclosure to this until the very end, and they claimed incompetence due to us "being the first people to have used this promotion"... As a professional, there should have been knowledge of that promotion and the limitations as to what they can really do should have been made clear! They will not match the down payment even though that is what's currently FALSLEY advertised (see attached pictures from during this process and today as i write this review- the advertisementhas even been updated for the holiday!). They rocked credit scores and gave us false hope. We made arrangements to leave our current place and almost became homeless. We are lucky our current management understood what had happened and worked with us. - Kay Ro
