Shiloh Mobile Home Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Scott, Louisiana area, Shiloh Mobile Home Park, located at 1111 Roper Rd, Scott, LA 70583, USA, is one option to consider. As a mobile home park, it may also offer accommodations for RVs. However, it's crucial to note that online reviews present a mixed picture of the community, and prospective residents or visitors should carefully weigh these perspectives. For the most accurate and current information, direct contact with the park management at (337) 371-1746 or +1 337-371-1746 is strongly recommended.
The environment at Shiloh Mobile Home Park appears to have both positive and negative aspects, according to the available reviews. One resident describes it as the "Best Mobile home trailer park without a pool in the area," highlighting its peacefulness and the seemingly positive interactions with neighbors and management ("epitome of god sent professionals"). This reviewer also mentions specific rules regarding pets (no large pets, specifically no pit bulls allowed), noise levels (no loud music without permission), and behavior (no fighting, with authorities being called if necessary), suggesting an attempt to maintain order and a sense of community. This positive perspective indicates a potentially welcoming environment for those who value peace and quiet and adhere to community guidelines.
However, another review paints a starkly contrasting picture of the environment, alleging "Lots of shootings...fights...drugs...and break ins and robbers that jist walk up to people and take what they want." This review also raises concerns about pests ("Rats and mice too") and water quality ("news said the water was no good here"). Furthermore, it describes issues with disruptive behavior from children ("Bad bad children bust empty beer bottles in the streets. And start fights with everyone."). This negative feedback presents serious concerns about safety, security, and the overall living conditions within the park. The significant disparity between these two reviews underscores the importance of seeking current and comprehensive information directly from the management and potentially visiting the property to assess the environment firsthand.
Information regarding the specific services offered at Shiloh Mobile Home Park for RVs and mobile homes is limited in the provided reviews. Typically, mobile home parks offer essential utility hookups, including water, electricity, and sewer. For RVs, these are also standard expectations. However, the reviews do not provide details about additional services such as Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, or waste management. Given the conflicting reports about the overall environment, it is particularly important to inquire about the reliability and quality of basic services like water, as one review explicitly raised concerns about it. Prospective RV visitors should also confirm the availability and suitability of sites for their specific RV type and size.
In terms of features, one positive aspect mentioned is the absence of a pool, which, for some, might contribute to a quieter environment. The rules mentioned in one review (no large pets, no pit bulls, restrictions on noise and fighting) can be seen as features aimed at maintaining a certain level of order within the community. However, the lack of amenities for children, as suggested by the negative review ("Bad bad children bust empty beer bottles in the streets" implying a lack of constructive activities), could be a significant drawback for families. The discrepancy in these accounts makes it difficult to ascertain the true range and quality of features available at Shiloh Mobile Home Park. Direct inquiry with the management is essential to obtain a clear picture of what the park currently offers.
Promotional information for Shiloh Mobile Home Park is not included in the provided data. Mobile home parks sometimes offer incentives for long-term leases or special rates for RV stays. To find out if any such promotions are currently available, it is necessary to contact the park management directly. Inquiring about lot rental fees for mobile homes and daily or weekly rates for RV sites will provide the necessary financial details. Given the concerns raised in one of the reviews, it would also be prudent to inquire about any security measures in place or planned improvements to address the issues mentioned.
Considering Shiloh Mobile Home Park as a potential option for "RV parks near me" or for mobile home living in Scott, LA, requires careful evaluation due to the contrasting customer experiences. The positive review highlights a peaceful environment with professional management and clear community rules. Conversely, the negative review raises serious red flags regarding safety, security, pest control, water quality, and disruptive behavior. This significant divergence in feedback underscores the need for thorough due diligence before making any decisions. It is advisable to speak directly with the management to address the concerns raised in the negative review and to understand what measures are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and visitors.
To obtain a balanced and accurate understanding of Shiloh Mobile Home Park, prospective residents or RVers should consider the following steps: contact the management directly to inquire about current conditions, services, features, and rates; ask specifically about the safety and security measures in place; inquire about the water quality and any related advisories; and, if possible, request a visit to the property to assess the environment firsthand. Given the serious allegations in one of the reviews, it would be prudent to proceed with caution and seek comprehensive information before committing to a stay or residency at Shiloh Mobile Home Park.
In conclusion, while Shiloh Mobile Home Park is located in Scott, Louisiana and may offer services relevant to those searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home living, the available reviews present a complex and potentially concerning picture. The stark contrast between positive feedback regarding peacefulness and professional management and negative feedback alleging significant safety and environmental issues necessitates thorough investigation. Contacting the park management directly at (337) 371-1746 is the crucial next step for anyone considering this location to gain clarity and make an informed decision based on their individual needs and priorities.

Shiloh Mobile Home Park Reviews
Best Mobile home trailer park without a pool in the area. Rent is reasonable, neighbors are not trying to get into confrontation(will call the authorities), and it's pretty peaceful. Grounds keepers and management is the epitome of god sent professionals. No large pets, no fighting, and no loud music without permission and or permit. I have always felt welcomed here.
