Silver Lakes Pointe Mobile Home Park Introduce
When searching for "RV parks near me" in the Clarksville, Indiana region, it's essential to distinguish between facilities catering to short-term recreational vehicles and those designed for longer-term residential living, which may also accommodate RVs for extended stays. Silver Lakes Pointe Mobile Home Park, situated at 5935 US-31, Clarksville, IN 47129, appears to lean towards a long-term residential model, primarily geared towards mobile homes, but also potentially offering spots for RVs seeking an extended stay. You can reach them at (812) 282-6667 or their mobile number +1 812-282-6667 for direct inquiries.
Based on the available information, Silver Lakes Pointe Mobile Home Park provides a setting for individuals and families to reside in their mobile homes on leased land. This arrangement typically fosters a sense of community among long-term residents. While the park's primary focus seems to be on mobile homes, one review indicates that it can also serve as a reasonably priced, drama-free option for those needing a long-term RV spot while working in the area.
Regarding the environment of Silver Lakes Pointe, specific details about landscaping, common areas, and aesthetic features are not extensively described in the provided information. However, its location along US-31 suggests accessibility to local transportation routes and potentially nearby amenities. It's worth noting that one reviewer mentioned the park's proximity to I-65 and a railroad track, indicating that residents should expect a degree of noise associated with these transportation corridors. Prospective residents sensitive to noise should consider this factor when evaluating this location.
In terms of services and features, the review from a long-term RV resident highlights that utility services such as electricity and water are billed separately, implying that residents are responsible for setting up and managing these accounts. This is a common practice in long-term mobile home parks but differs from many short-term RV parks where utilities are often included in the site rental fee. The reviewer also noted that amenities are located approximately a 10-minute drive away from the park itself. This suggests that while the park offers a place to reside, residents may need to travel for shopping, recreation, and other services.
One significant piece of information comes from a review detailing the aftermath of a major hail storm that damaged many trailers in the park, including newer ones. The review states that tenants were reportedly told they are responsible for fixing the damages themselves and mentions a potential lawsuit and the absence of a community insurance claim adjuster on-site. This situation raises important questions about the park's policies regarding natural disasters and the responsibilities of both the park management and the residents. Prospective residents should inquire about insurance requirements, the park's procedures in the event of significant property damage, and any community insurance coverage that may be in place.
Features of Silver Lakes Pointe that might appeal to certain individuals include its reasonably priced rates (as mentioned by one reviewer, specifically for the area) and the generally drama-free atmosphere experienced by that reviewer during their first month. The park's location near major transportation arteries like I-65 can be advantageous for those who need to commute or travel frequently. For individuals seeking a long-term living arrangement in the Clarksville area, particularly those with mobile homes or those needing an extended RV stay for work, Silver Lakes Pointe presents itself as an option.
Promotional information for Silver Lakes Pointe is not included in the provided text. To learn about current lot availability, rental rates, any special offers, or specific policies, interested parties should contact the park management directly at the phone numbers provided. A visit to the property would also allow potential residents to observe the environment firsthand and assess whether it meets their needs and expectations.
When comparing Silver Lakes Pointe to the broader category of "RV parks near me," it's clear that this park operates more as a long-term residential community with a focus on mobile homes. While it may accommodate RVs for extended stays, the services and amenities appear to be more basic and geared towards long-term living rather than the recreational focus often found in short-term RV parks. The separate billing for utilities and the off-site location of amenities further support this distinction.
In conclusion, Silver Lakes Pointe Mobile Home Park in Clarksville, Indiana, offers a long-term residential option for mobile home owners and potentially those seeking extended RV stays. While one reviewer found it to be reasonably priced and drama-free for a long-term RV spot, the information regarding the hail storm and the reported handling of the damages raises important considerations for prospective residents. Thoroughly investigating the park's policies on insurance and disaster recovery, as well as directly inquiring about services, fees, and the overall living environment, is crucial for anyone considering residing at Silver Lakes Pointe. Visiting the park and speaking with current residents, if possible, would also provide valuable insights.

Silver Lakes Pointe Mobile Home Park Reviews
My friends that live there just went through a major hail storm. It damaged a lot of trailers. Most of them were new trailers. The tenants are being told they have to fix the trailers themselves. Is it not the trailor owners, not the renters that are responsible to file this on their insurance?Thinking about a law suit!Since there is a large amount of extensive damage to many trailers, why have you not had the community insurance claim adjuster onsite to evaluate? Until then and the repairs, it’s not a false statement. If it’s not true, you should speak to your manager.I would be happy to post some pictures if you like.
Mar 25, 2025 · Colet AlfordI've been here almost a month so far. Therefore, I can give an honest review it's long-term mobilepark that geared toward mobile homes more than to RVs, along with that comes the hassle of long term rentals such as setting up an account for electric and water service is a seperate bill so its definitely not a vacation destination or a place to stop over for a night or 2 . As for ammeniities, expect a 10 minute drive. The key takeaways are that it's reasonably priced(for this area) and so far drama free . It is located right next to I-65 and a railroad track, so that type noise is just to be expected. I honestly don't have any complaints . It works well for someone like myself looking for a long-term RV spot while in town for work .
Nov 14, 2024 · Jake ElledgeWhen living there ownership Changed 3 times in one year. They jacked up lot fees like every 6 months . then they started to charge for trash and water and sewer making the lot fee even higher. Started to bring in new homes then we started to notice all the people who lived hear for years moving or having there home removed. Every winter no one salts or plows the snow at all. The new owner don't care at all about the people and the newer landlords are rude or they act like they naver ran a mobile home park ever. I personally believe they make up the water bill they give you because i had someone come out and say they are over charging some way. The 5 years i lived there i say my lot fee went up double plus all the other fees. The people are super noisy out there they report or call the cops for the smallest things. I had a fuse blow and people called the cops saying it was a gun shot.
Jan 11, 2025 · Dr.Martin FartileyLived hear for 7 years always paid my lot fee on time and anything else. Foundation fail had to be replace . the person representing this place all they cared about was the owner. They "Evicted" has with out even given has a chance to fixs what was needed. Now we are homeless the owner and employees are heartless jerks. When living there they dont plow or salt roads when it snows. They make you pay for everything water, sewer, trash and they jack up lot fee as much as they want like ever 6 months. There is so many strict rules when you own the home. People out there seem nice but most are snitches and tell on everything no matter how small or big.
Jul 08, 2024 · Danny BoyWe stayed there for a little while, let a camper move on lot 29 in the main back. Can’t leave your windows or doors open because of smoke of thier fire. If you work on the weekends might as well forget it can’t sleep because of their music and and slamming doors all night. Complained to park manger but nothing gets done about it. Beware don’t move to the back.
