The customer reviews provide some insights into the environment and maintenance of The Meadows. One reviewer describes the neighborhood as "pretty quiet" and "family oriented," suggesting a potentially peaceful and community-focused atmosphere. This could be an appealing aspect for those seeking a tranquil long-term living environment.
However, this same reviewer expresses concerns about the property's maintenance, stating that it "used to look really nice" but now requires them to call for grass cutting. They note a disparity in upkeep, with the front of the property appearing well-maintained, while areas beyond the pool look "horrible." This suggests potential inconsistencies in property management and maintenance standards that prospective residents should be aware of and inquire about.
Another reviewer, who visited briefly for business, offers a more positive perspective, stating that The Meadows "seems to look a lot better than it did a few years ago." They mention that it had a previous reputation as a "bad place to live" but has since "cleaned up" and is now "not bad." This suggests that improvements may have been made to the property over time. However, the brevity of this visit limits the depth of insight into the long-term living experience.
Considering these reviews, potential residents, including those looking for "RV parks near me," should inquire specifically about the current maintenance practices at The Meadows. The Meadows Reviews
The Neighborhood itself is pretty quite, its family oriented. I just wished they would maintain the property better, it used to look really nice, but now I have to call them to let them know my grass needs to be cut, which is crazy and the front always looks nice, but after the pool, it looks horrible!!!
Oct 19, 2020 · KACHARA MCLEODBeing that I was only there for a few minutes on business. I would say that it seems to look a lot better than it did a few years ago. It earn a reputation of being a bad place to live. Its cleaned up not bad. Nothing bad to about them.
Mar 18, 2019 · Frederica StarksThis place has gone to pieces. If you buy a trailer here, you can't move it for ten years. They are charging $895 lot rent and you never own the land. If you don't pay the lot rent you're in debt to the new owner. That is $108,000 you're paying for land you never own. Plus if the lot rent goes up every year it's more than that. The land is not even an acre or in a beautiful area. It is now Florida Sun Estates and not worth the money or effort. If you buy a trailer you would have to charge your tenant at least $1500-1600 in rent. Covid is no excuse for this kind of rent hike. Regular lot rent was $425 with the other company and still is with other mobile home communities. And they're better taken care of. $108,000 plus cost of the used trailer can run you $120,000 and better but like the contract says you buy it you can't move it. So lot rent of $895 for every owner. Not worth it. Trailers depreciate. Regular homes appreciate and grow in value. If your going to risk that kind of money buy a house. It has equity and grows in monetary value as the years go by and you take good care of it.
