This indicates a community that offers opportunities for engagement without imposing pressure to participate, catering to a variety of social preferences.
- Friendly and Welcoming Atmosphere: The experience of meeting "several folks that just came up to say hello and get to know you" underscores the friendly and welcoming nature of the residents. This ease of connection and the proactive engagement of neighbors contribute to the positive community spirit.

While the reviews are overwhelmingly positive regarding the community and environment, they provide limited information about the specific services and features of The Oaks. Based on general knowledge of mobile home parks, local users might expect some or all of the following:
- Individual Mobile Home Lots: Residents would typically own their mobile homes and lease the land on which they are situated. The size and layout of these lots can vary. Local users interested in residency would need to inquire about availability and lot sizes.
- Utility Hookups: Each lot would generally be equipped with essential utility hookups, including water, electricity, and sewer connections. Residents are typically responsible for their individual utility consumption.
- Park Maintenance: The park management usually handles the maintenance of common areas, roadways, and potentially landscaping. The positive comments about the clean and pretty environment suggest that The Oaks likely has a well-maintained infrastructure.
- Community Clubhouse: The mention of a community music show at the clubhouse indicates the presence of a central facility for social gatherings, events, and potentially other amenities. Local users should inquire about the features and availability of the clubhouse.
- Roads: The description of "barely two lanes" and "sinuous trek" suggests that the roads within the community might be narrower and winding, which could be a characteristic of the park's layout within the natural terrain.
- Potential Additional Amenities: Depending on the park, other amenities could include laundry facilities, recreational areas (like a pool, shuffleboard courts, or picnic areas), and possibly storage. It would be beneficial to inquire about the full range of amenities offered at The Oaks.
- Management Office: An on-site management office typically handles inquiries, leases, maintenance requests, and community-related matters. The positive community spirit suggests that the management likely plays a role in fostering this environment.

The Oaks Reviews
I lived there (past tense unfortunately), and it is one of the few things, in reflection, that I would gladly do over again. It was/is a wonderful community of "neighbors becoming family." Plus, you have the privilege of being as active, socially busy, etc. as you choose to be. Does it have it's "quirks?" Of course! But who or what doesn't? I miss living there. And for those who are thinking of "moving the folks" into this style of living...it truly is one of the only places I would trust with those I love.
Aug 14, 2022 · Barbara WilsonFriends just moved in here and we spent their first evening with them at the community clubhouse for the community music show - Awesome! Awesome camaraderie among the residents present! I bet the neighborhood watch in here is tight! The roads are barely two lanes and take a sinuous trek though luxuriant hills that are clean and pretty! Most of the homes are a little older but look well adorned and cared for.I met several folks that just came up to say hello and get to know you.I love this little division.

Jan 22, 2025 · Daniel NolanThis would be a great place to live if not for a few things. Moldy wall ceiling leaking musty smelling clubhouse, old unsafe tile falling off wrong height railing pool, never get my lawn mowed unless neighbor does it & I do part with my weed eater. Fallen branches all around clubhouse making it look junky, over 40lb dogs & more than 2 pets allowed to move in & lot rent too high, esp. with old amenities. These are some complaints of many residents in The Oaks not just me.
