Twin Pines Introduce
Are you searching for “RV parks near me” in the Opelika, Alabama area and considering various options for long-term, community-oriented living? The location at 1394-1548 Old Columbus Rd, Opelika, AL 36804, was formerly known as Twin Pines. However, it is with significant emphasis that we introduce to you the revitalized community now known as “The Pines.” This transformation represents a significant shift from its past reputation and offers a new perspective for those seeking a family-friendly and pet-friendly residential environment, potentially as an alternative to traditional RV parks for extended stays.
One of the provided customer reviews references a time when “This place use to be a great place to live but it's gone down hill and a dirty place no one seems to care about anything.” This review reflects a negative perception of the community under its former identity as Twin Pines. It is crucial to acknowledge this past feedback as part of the community’s history.
However, the second review offers a dramatically different and more current perspective. This reviewer explicitly states, “Altho twin pines has had a very bad reputation in the past, it is with my great pleasure to announce that the former community of what was known as ‘Twin Pines’, is no longer in existence.” This is a pivotal piece of information, indicating a fundamental change and rebranding of the community.
According to this more recent review, the transformation into “The Pines” is attributed to the “hard work and dedication of Mr. Ted (now deceased), and his wife Mrs Becky.” Their efforts have resulted in a “new and improved ‘The Pines’” which is now described as a “family oriented, children and pet friendly” place where many residents call home. This signifies a significant shift in the community’s focus and atmosphere, directly addressing potential concerns raised by the earlier negative review.
The reviewer further highlights that “The community of the pines has been completely remodeled, and is no longer involved in any of the alleged criminal activities” that may have been associated with its past. This suggests a comprehensive effort to not only change the name but also to improve the physical environment and the overall safety and reputation of the community. This remodeling could encompass various aspects, such as обновленные common areas, improved infrastructure, and enhanced landscaping, all contributing to a more appealing living environment.
In a heartfelt tribute to Mr. Ted, described as “one of the greatest men of our great state of Alabama and the wonderful city of opelika has ever know,” the community of The Pines extends an invitation to “come down and take a walk through the pines and become a member of our growing community.” This welcoming message suggests a desire to build a strong and positive community spirit, encouraging prospective residents to experience the transformation firsthand.
The phrase “Y'all come honor Mr Ted and his legacy and share your story with us today” further emphasizes the community’s focus on its residents and its commitment to building a positive future while honoring its past. This personal touch can be particularly appealing to those seeking a sense of belonging and a welcoming atmosphere, which are often valued by individuals looking at “RV parks near me” for a community feel during extended stays.
While specific details about the services and features of The Pines are not explicitly mentioned in the reviews, the description of it being “family oriented, children and pet friendly” implies certain amenities and policies that would support these aspects. For example, a family-oriented community might feature safe play areas for children, while a pet-friendly environment would likely have designated areas for pets and clear guidelines for pet owners. The “completely remodeled” aspect also suggests potential upgrades to infrastructure and communal spaces that would benefit residents.
For local users in Opelika searching for “RV parks near me” who might be considering a more long-term residential option, The Pines, formerly Twin Pines, presents a compelling narrative of transformation and community revitalization. The emphasis on being family and pet-friendly, coupled with the mention of complete remodeling and a commitment to a positive community environment, suggests a significant improvement from its past reputation. While specific amenities comparable to an RV park (such as individual site hookups, laundry facilities, etc.) are not detailed, the focus on creating a home for its residents implies a level of stability and community that might appeal to those seeking more than just a temporary RV site.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of the environment, services, and features of The Pines, prospective residents are encouraged to visit the location at 1394-1548 Old Columbus Rd, Opelika, AL 36804, and speak directly with the management. Inquiring about lot availability, lease terms, community amenities, pet policies, and the specifics of the remodeling efforts would provide valuable information to determine if The Pines aligns with your long-term housing needs. While no specific promotional information is provided, the invitation to “come down and take a walk through the pines” suggests an openness to welcoming new residents and sharing the positive changes within the community.
In conclusion, The Pines (formerly Twin Pines) in Opelika, AL, appears to be a community undergoing a significant positive transformation, with a focus on creating a family-friendly and pet-friendly environment. While it may not offer the transient amenities of a typical RV park, its emphasis on community and long-term residency could be appealing to those seeking a stable and welcoming place to call home. We encourage local users searching for “RV parks near me” to explore The Pines and witness its revitalization firsthand.

The first trailer on the left will talk, listen, assist you if you are in distress and he is able to help with your problem it would be his pleasure just as long as it's between the hours of 4:15 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Monday through Friday sometimes Saturday. Unavailable Sunday between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. due to church services. We hope you can give twin pies of five star rating if you ever find yourself parked here.
