Vinemont Village Mobile Home Community Introduce
For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" or exploring options for mobile home living in the Cullman, Alabama area, Vinemont Village Mobile Home Community, located at 17949 US Hwy 31, Cullman, AL 35058, USA, presents a complex picture based on recent customer reviews. These reviews highlight both past concerns regarding maintenance and living conditions under previous management and positive changes occurring with new ownership. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the community based on this information.
Vinemont Village Mobile Home Community is situated along US Highway 31 in Cullman, Alabama. Cullman is a city in northern Alabama known for its German heritage and scenic beauty. Mobile home communities often provide a more affordable housing option compared to traditional homes, and they may also accommodate RVs for short-term or long-term stays, thus appearing in searches for "RV parks near me."
One of the customer reviews details significant issues experienced while renting a trailer within the community under previous management. The reviewer mentions a concern regarding trees near mobile homes, stating that despite promises to cut down 5 to 10 trees, only about 3 were addressed. Subsequently, a tree limb fell onto the trailer they were living in, causing a hole in the roof. The reviewer alleges that the management at the time did not even inspect the damage and failed to repair it, leading to a water leak from the ceiling onto a light fixture during rain. This situation raised serious safety concerns about the potential for electrical hazards. The reviewer also mentions a pre-existing rotten spot in the front door floor area, which was reportedly brought to the management's attention with photographic evidence but was also left unrepaired.
This detailed negative review paints a picture of neglect and a lack of responsiveness to essential maintenance needs under the former management. Such conditions would undoubtedly impact the quality of life for residents and raise concerns about the overall upkeep and safety standards of the community at that time.
However, another review offers a contrasting and more optimistic perspective, indicating a significant positive change: "There's a new owner that's really spending money in it and making sure everything is fixed. He said he wi not put a family in a unlivable home. I'm waiting on my 3 bedroom." This review suggests that new ownership has taken over Vinemont Village Mobile Home Community and is actively investing in improvements and repairs. The commitment stated by the new owner to not house families in unlivable conditions and the reviewer's anticipation of moving into a three-bedroom home indicate a positive shift towards better living standards and management practices.
Considering these two reviews together, it appears that Vinemont Village Mobile Home Community has undergone a change in ownership, and the new management is reportedly focused on addressing past maintenance issues and ensuring habitable living conditions. This transition period is crucial for understanding the current state of the community.
Based on the nature of mobile home communities and the information provided, we can consider potential aspects of the environment, services, and features, keeping in mind that these may be in flux due to the change in ownership:
Environment: The first review mentions trees near the mobile homes, suggesting a community with some mature landscaping. However, the issue with falling limbs also indicates potential risks associated with unmaintained trees. The second review does not provide specific details about the overall environment but implies an effort to improve living conditions, which could include the upkeep of communal areas and landscaping.
Services: Under previous management, the responsiveness to maintenance requests appears to have been severely lacking, as evidenced by the unrepaired roof and floor damage. The new ownership, however, seems to be prioritizing repairs and ensuring habitable homes. For RVs (if permitted), essential services such as water, electricity, and sewage hookups would typically be expected. Information on other potential services like laundry facilities, restroom/shower blocks, or Wi-Fi is not available in the reviews.
Features: The presence of trees is one feature mentioned. The new owner's commitment to providing livable homes, including a three-bedroom unit for the reviewer, suggests a range of housing options might be available. If RVs are accommodated, the size and layout of the sites would be a relevant feature. The overall community atmosphere and any communal amenities (playgrounds, common areas, etc.) are not detailed in the provided reviews.
Promotional Information: The second review could be considered indirect positive promotion, highlighting the new owner's commitment to improvements and habitable housing. However, no specific promotional offers, such as discounted rates for new residents or RVers, are mentioned. Individuals interested in residency or RV stays should contact the community directly to inquire about current availability and pricing.
Given the transition in ownership, it is essential for potential residents or RV guests to seek current information about Vinemont Village Mobile Home Community. Contacting the new management directly at phone (256) 620-2712 or mobile phone +1 256-620-2712 would be crucial to understand the current state of the community, the types of accommodations available (mobile home rentals or lots for owned homes, RV sites), the services and amenities offered, and the rates or rental fees.
Prospective residents or visitors should inquire specifically about the maintenance practices under the new ownership, the status of any ongoing repairs or improvements, and the overall living conditions. If considering bringing an RV, it would be important to ask about the availability of RV sites, the types of hookups provided, and any restrictions or guidelines for RV stays.
In conclusion, Vinemont Village Mobile Home Community in Cullman, Alabama, appears to be undergoing a significant transition with new ownership reportedly committed to addressing past issues and improving living conditions. While past reviews highlight serious maintenance concerns, more recent feedback suggests positive changes are underway. For those seeking "RV parks near me" or mobile home living in the area, it is crucial to contact the new management directly to obtain current information and assess whether the community now meets their needs and expectations. The potential for a revitalized and well-maintained community under new ownership makes further inquiry worthwhile.

Vinemont Village Mobile Home Community Reviews
We were paying them to rent a trailer. And they said that they were going to be cutting down all of the trees that were near mobile homes but they only cut maybe 3 out of the 5 to 10 trees that are there. And then a tree limb fell onto the trailer that I was living in and it punched a hole in it and they would not even come and look at it and when it rained a small trickle of water would run out of the ceiling onto a light fixture. And I was afraid that it was going to start a fire because water and electricity doesn't mix well. I have a video of the water coming out of the ceiling too. Also the front door floor area had a rotten spot and they were aware of it because my wife sent pictures to them and they still didn't fix it.
