Brag Patch RV Park Introduce
When searching for "RV parks near me" in the Crane Hill, Alabama area, Brag Patch RV Park, located at 271 Co Rd 324, Crane Hill, AL 35053, USA, is one option that may appear in your search results. You can contact them at (205) 235-1926 or +1 205-235-1926 for inquiries. It's important to consider all available feedback when evaluating potential RV parks to ensure a comfortable and safe stay. While one review does mention a "beautiful place with gorgeous views," a more detailed review raises several significant concerns that potential visitors should be aware of.
One of the most critical issues highlighted by a recent guest is the problem with water pressure. The reviewer explicitly states "No water pressure," which can significantly impact the comfort and functionality of an RV stay, affecting everything from showering and dishwashing to basic sanitation. This lack of adequate water pressure is a serious inconvenience that potential visitors should take into account when considering Brag Patch RV Park among other "RV parks near me."
Adding to the water concerns is a disturbing report of foul odors. The same reviewer notes that "it also smells like sewage." This is a significant environmental issue that can detract from the enjoyment of the stay and potentially pose health risks. The explanation provided by the owner, stating that "water lines are ran with field lines so I'm sure it's getting in the water as they have water leaks all the time," is particularly concerning. The potential for contamination of the water supply due to proximity to field lines and frequent leaks raises serious questions about the safety and quality of the water at Brag Patch RV Park. This is a crucial factor to consider for anyone looking at "RV parks near me" and prioritizing health and safety.
For those planning to enjoy water activities, it's important to note that, according to the review, there is "no boat launch" at Brag Patch RV Park. This lack of a boat launch could be a significant drawback for visitors hoping to access nearby bodies of water for boating, fishing, or other recreational activities. If water access with a boat launch is a priority, Brag Patch RV Park may not meet your needs compared to other "RV parks near me" that offer such facilities.
Safety and security are also areas of concern based on the guest feedback. The reviewer mentions "no lighting," which can create a potentially unsafe environment at night, increasing the risk of accidents and making it easier for theft to occur. Furthermore, the reviewer states that they "had stuff stolen," indicating a potential security issue within the park. Lack of adequate lighting can exacerbate such problems, making it essential for potential visitors to consider the security aspects of Brag Patch RV Park in comparison to other "RV parks near me."
The management and atmosphere of the park also come under scrutiny in the detailed review. The reviewer claims that "owners always in your business and discussing other tenants business." Such behavior can create an uncomfortable and intrusive environment for guests, potentially leading to a lack of privacy and a feeling of being unwelcome. This aspect of the park's management style is an important consideration for those who value their privacy and prefer a more hands-off approach from park owners when choosing from "RV parks near me."
Recreational opportunities within the park appear to be limited, as the reviewer states, "Nothing for kids or grown ups to do." This lack of amenities or activities could be a significant disadvantage for families traveling with children or adults looking for on-site entertainment or recreation. If having activities and amenities is important for your RV park experience, Brag Patch RV Park may not offer what you are looking for compared to other "RV parks near me" that provide such options.
Maintenance and general upkeep of the park also seem to be areas of concern. The presence of "Stray dogs tearing out garbage" suggests potential issues with waste management and animal control within the park. Stray animals can create unsanitary conditions and pose safety risks. Additionally, the reviewer notes that the owners "Sling gravel all over campers when they mow," indicating a lack of care and consideration for the guests' property during maintenance activities. These points suggest that the overall maintenance and management of Brag Patch RV Park may not be up to the standards expected by many RV travelers.
In summary, while Brag Patch RV Park in Crane Hill, Alabama, may offer "beautiful views" according to one review, a more comprehensive account from another guest raises significant concerns regarding water pressure, sewage smells, potential water contamination, lack of a boat launch and lighting, theft, intrusive owners, a lack of activities for all ages, stray dogs, and poor maintenance practices. Potential visitors searching for "RV parks near me" in the Crane Hill area should carefully weigh these negative aspects against any potential positives before making a decision. It is advisable to seek out additional reviews and possibly contact the park directly to inquire about these issues before committing to a stay at Brag Patch RV Park.
