You can contact them at (956) 797-1401 or +1 956-797-1401. Based on recent customer reviews, VIP-La Feria RV Park offers a unique experience that blends the amenities of an RV park with aspects of a mobile home community, fostering a friendly and active environment, although potential visitors should be aware of certain policies and experiences related to long-term stays and property maintenance.
Situated in La Feria, Texas, VIP-La Feria RV Park benefits from its location in the Rio Grande Valley, offering a warm climate and proximity to various local attractions. La Feria provides a blend of small-town charm and accessibility to larger neighboring cities, making it a convenient location for both short-term travelers and long-term residents. The park's location on East Expressway 83 suggests good connectivity to major roadways, facilitating travel to regional points of interest, including the Gulf Coast and the rich cultural heritage of South Texas.
The environment within VIP-La Feria RV Park appears to be characterized by a strong sense of community among the residents. One reviewer specifically mentioned, "we enjoy the residence here. They’re all very friendly and helpful," and further noted "Lots of activities." This suggests a social and engaging atmosphere where guests and residents can connect and participate in community events. This focus on fostering a friendly environment is a significant positive aspect highlighted by a long-term resident. Additionally, another reviewer who stayed at VIP La Feria's Breezewood Cove Park described the property as "well kept, simple, and overall we felt comfortable there," praising the maintenance crew for keeping the grounds and laundry trailer clean. The presence of palm trees was also noted as a pleasant feature, offering a taste of the South Texas landscape.
In terms of services and features, VIP-La Feria RV Park seems to cater to both RV travelers and those interested in mobile home living. Based on the reviews, the following can be inferred:
- RV Sites: The park accommodates RVs, likely offering sites with essential utility hookups such as water, electricity, and sewer. The mention of a "multiple month long stay" indicates that they cater to extended visits.
- Mobile Home Sales and Plots: The park has begun advertising plots for sale and planting mobile homes for sale on the property, indicating a transition towards becoming more of a permanent residential community.
- Maintenance Crew: A maintenance crew is active in keeping the grounds and facilities clean, as noted by one reviewer's positive experience with their work in maintaining the Breezewood Cove section.
- Laundry Facilities: A laundry trailer is available for guests, and it is maintained to a good standard of cleanliness.
- Activities: The mention of "lots of activities" suggests that the park organizes or facilitates social events and gatherings for its residents, contributing to the strong sense of community.
However, the reviews also bring up some important considerations for potential guests and residents:
- Initial Hookup Issues with Mobile Homes: One reviewer who purchased a mobile home that was moved to the park experienced significant issues with essential utilities (water, electric, gas, furnace, AC) not being properly connected upon their arrival, despite having paid lot rent in advance. While these issues were eventually resolved, it raises concerns about the initial setup process for new mobile homes.
- Property Damage and Responsibility: The same reviewer reported damage to new skirting on their mobile home caused by the hired lawn maintenance crew, and the park management allegedly stated they would not be responsible for the repair. This highlights a potential issue with accountability for damages caused by their contractors.
- Security Concerns Due to Property Sales: The advertising and planting of mobile homes for sale led to an increase in passerby traffic who were not park guests, causing one reviewer to feel a decrease in the park's security compared to the beginning of their stay.
- Two-Week Vacancy Notice for Monthly Stays: The park requires a two-week notice of vacancy for monthly stays, a policy that one reviewer found restrictive and counter to the flexibility often associated with RV life. While they were able to negotiate this policy, it is a point to note for those planning monthly stays.
- Shift Towards Permanent Residents: One reviewer observed that the park's goal seems to be transitioning towards a space for permanent residents rather than transient travelers, suggesting that the experience might differ for those seeking a more traditional campground atmosphere, which they believe the other two parks associated with the management might offer.
Given the information, there are no specific promotional details mentioned. To inquire about current rates for RV sites, availability of mobile homes for sale or lot rentals, and any special offers, it is crucial to contact VIP-La Feria RV Park directly at (956) 797-1401 or +1 956-797-1401. Potential long-term residents might also want to inquire about the process of purchasing and setting up a mobile home in the park and clarify policies regarding property maintenance and vacancy notices.
In conclusion, VIP-La Feria RV Park in La Feria, TX, offers a community-oriented environment with friendly residents and a well-maintained property. It caters to both RV travelers and those seeking mobile home living. The park provides essential services and fosters an active social scene. However, potential visitors and residents should be aware of the reported issues regarding initial hookups for mobile homes, responsibility for contractor-caused damage, potential security concerns related to property sales, and the two-week vacancy notice policy for monthly stays. For those looking for a community feel and potentially a long-term stay, VIP-La Feria RV Park may be a good fit, but direct communication with the management is recommended to address any specific concerns and to obtain the most current information on rates and policies.

VIP-La Feria RV Park Reviews
Last April we bought a mobile home from this park that was moved from another place. It was late getting here so we were unable to make sure everything was hooked up and working properly. When we came back this year, we found that the water had not been hooked up to the hot water tank, the electric had not been hooked up to the hot water tank, the air conditioner did not work, and the furnace was not hooked up, Back door would not lock as it was broken and the stove was not hooked up to gas. We had paid the lot rent through the summer and up to when we got here in advance. We would’ve thought the staff would’ve made sure all these things were ready when we got here, but they did not follow through. They have since fixed most of these issues while we are here now. Also, the new skirting was torn up from the lawn maintenance crew. It is the lawn maintenance crew that they hire. They said they will not fix it. I would have thought that they would be responsible for the people they hire? The reason why I did give the place a two star rating was because we enjoy the residence here. They’re all very friendly and helpful. Lots of activities. See attachment. Tim M
Feb 21, 2025 · Timothy MatherWe stayed at VIP La Ferias Breezewood Cove Park. The property was well kept, simple, and overall we felt comfortable there. The maintenance crew did a fantastic job keeping the grounds and laundry trailer clean. We enjoyed the palm trees and escape from the midwest winter.A few things worth mentioning:-At some point during our multiple month long stay they began advertising plots in the park for sale, and planting mobile homes for sale on the property. This began to draw passerby’s that were not guest at the park. Didn’t necessarily cause any issues, but did make the park feel less secure than it felt at the beginning of our stay.-They require a TWO WEEK notice of vacancy for monthly stays. I understand the curtesy of giving a notice but two weeks… feels like a silly expectation considering a huge benefit to RV life is the flexibility. Thankfully they did negotiate with us on this policy because it would be impossible to give them a notice with my husband’s line of work.. but just a heads up.Their goal seems to make this specific property a space for permanent residents.. not travelers. While we enjoyed this park, the other two parks seem to have a bit more to offer, especially for those looking for a campground experience!
Feb 09, 2025 · Savannah WilliamsThe people in the RV park are very friendly and there are plenty of activities to choose from if so inclined. The sights are close together but ample length. The biggest drawback is the constant noise from the interstate. There are also a lot of cigarette butts thrown around. Adults should know better!
Mar 21, 2025 · Marci BurtonHad a great experience staying at the park for close to a year. Always had a good experience when inquiring about concerns. Staff was helpful and spaces were clean and safe.
Feb 28, 2025 · Cecelia HerreraWe just got here but everybody is very helpful and nice. I was a little hot from setting up the camper and they even offered me a cold water to drink while we set up our app on the phone.
