The environment surrounding Waynesville Plantation in Lumberton, NC, is likely characterized by the general landscape of the region. Lumberton is situated in the southeastern part of North Carolina, offering a climate with warm summers and mild winters. The area features a mix of woodlands and open spaces, typical of the coastal plain. Proximity to local amenities such as shopping centers, restaurants, and essential services would be a factor for residents. However, specific details about the immediate surroundings of Waynesville Plantation, such as the presence of natural features, landscaping within the park, or noise levels from adjacent areas, are not detailed in the provided information. Potential RV residents would need to independently assess the neighborhood and the park's immediate surroundings to determine if it meets their environmental preferences.
Information regarding the specific services offered at Waynesville Plantation for RVs is limited. Traditionally, mobile home parks cater to long-term residents in manufactured homes and may not always provide the full suite of amenities typically found in dedicated RV parks designed for shorter stays. Potential services could include utility hookups such as electricity, water, and sewage at individual sites. However, the availability and reliability of these services for RVs would need to be verified. Common RV park amenities like laundry facilities, communal restrooms and showers, recreational areas, Wi-Fi access, and on-site management may or may not be available at Waynesville Plantation. The reviews provided offer some concerning insights into the overall maintenance and management of the property under previous ownership, mentioning issues such as neglected repairs (leaking roofs, windows, AC units, plumbing), lack of lawn maintenance, and general uncleanliness. While a new owner is reported to have taken over and addressed lawn maintenance to some extent, the long-term impact on other services and infrastructure remains unclear. Prospective RV residents should directly inquire about the specific services available for RVs, including the condition and reliability of utility hookups, waste disposal procedures, and any other amenities that are important for their needs.
The features of Waynesville Plantation as a potential 'RV Parks Near Me' option require careful consideration based on the available information. The primary feature appears to be its function as a residential community, primarily for mobile homes, with the possibility of accommodating RVs on a longer-term basis. The reviews highlight several concerns regarding the community environment and park management under previous ownership. One review mentions a "loud community with music & vehicles," which could be a significant factor for those seeking a quiet and peaceful RV living experience. The inconsistency in pet policies, specifically regarding large dogs, as well as reported frequent rent increases, are also important points to note for potential residents. The lack of a groundkeeper and the description of the park as "dirty" suggest potential issues with overall cleanliness and maintenance of communal areas. While the change in ownership and some improvement in lawn maintenance are positive developments, the reviews paint a picture of a community that has faced significant challenges in terms of upkeep and management. For RV owners considering Waynesville Plantation, it would be crucial to ascertain the current state of the park's features, including the condition of any RV-specific sites, the quality of the infrastructure, and the overall community atmosphere under the new ownership. The presence of long-term residents in mobile homes could foster a sense of community, but the reported issues suggest potential drawbacks that need thorough investigation.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Waynesville Plantation within the context of the 'RV Parks Near Me' category. Mobile home parks typically do not offer the same types of promotions as traditional RV parks that cater to transient travelers. Any potential cost considerations would likely involve monthly lot rental fees and utility charges. The reviews mention frequent rent increases, which is a significant factor for long-term budgeting. Prospective RV residents would need to directly contact the management at (910) 225-4295 or +1 910-225-4295 to inquire about current rates, lease terms, and any other fees associated with residing in an RV at Waynesville Plantation. It would be prudent to get a clear understanding of all costs involved and the terms of residency before making any decisions. Given the concerns raised in the reviews, it would also be advisable to inquire about the new ownership's plans for improvements and their approach to park management and resident relations.
In conclusion, Waynesville Plantation in Lumberton, NC, presents a potential option within the 'RV Parks Near Me' category, primarily functioning as a mobile home park that may accommodate RVs for longer-term stays. While its location offers access to the general amenities of Lumberton, the available information, particularly the customer reviews, raises significant concerns regarding past management, maintenance, community environment, and inconsistent policies. Prospective RV residents should conduct thorough due diligence, including contacting the management directly to inquire about specific RV services, current rates, and the new ownership's plans for the park. Visiting the property in person to assess the current environment and conditions is highly recommended to make an informed decision about whether Waynesville Plantation meets their needs and expectations for an RV living community.

Waynesville Plantation Reviews
Ok,to be fair, TimeOut just took rent money and didn't do anything. They didn't care about leaking roofs!windows, doors,ac units, or plumbing. They did not care about deck repairs, blown out skirts, or lawn maintenance. Units are covered in alge and could use pressure washing once a year. Cabinets and fixtures easily fall apart, and every repair person who has shown up seems unqualified for the task at hand. Units have been removed, and the deck and plumbing debris is just left behind. The lighting is very dim, making it feel unsafe at night. TimeOut defaulted on their mortgage, and now there is a new owner who has at least mowed the lawns more in the last 3 months than the prior all year.
Nov 12, 2024 · Rebel Scum Speed ShopLoud community with music & vehicles. Made us give up our big dog but it isn’t mandatory for everyone else. Says we weren’t allowed to have a big dog due to how many attacks they had, but several others in the community has them. Constantly raising the rent 200-300 dollars. Don’t move here, don’t listen to lies. Most of all please DO NOT buy. You will have property taxes you won’t be able to get out of! No ground keeper, dirty.
Jan 02, 2024 · Ally CatWe moved here soon to be a year ago & so far it’s been a positive experience. When we moved in there were a few issues, our toilets had no backs/lids & our hot water heater was missing. It had been taken out cause when the water department came out to turn our water on they ended up having to turn it off because the lines running to the hot water heater were just gushing water everywhere! But they came out replaced the toilet lids and installed a new hot water heater & other than the trash not being picked up sometimes there’s been calm seas & smooth sailing ever since!
Jun 13, 2022 · Jacqueline FaulkWe visited with the intent of renting but I am not sure what to think. Seems affordable. Some homes are decent others look questionable. Not sure if it's truly safe. No response after texting but I will give the benefit of doubt due to the holiday. I will update more on a later day.Update*****We decided not to move forward with this company due to the lack of communication and professionalism. It just confirmed the negative reviews I've read.
Dec 06, 2022 · Hanifah GThe older homes in this park need some repairs. They are looking ratty. Also, several residents have VERY noisy vehicles which shatters the peaceful location of the park.
