Twin Pines RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Grants Pass, Oregon region, Twin Pines RV Park, situated at 2630 Merlin Rd, presents itself as a potential option. To provide a balanced perspective, this introduction combines the limited positive feedback with more prevalent recent concerns expressed by customers online. This aims to offer local users an objective view to aid in their decision-making process when selecting an RV park.
One positive aspect highlighted in the reviews suggests that Twin Pines RV Park may be well-suited for retreats or large gatherings. The reviewer specifically mentions its ability to "accommodate for RV's, also," indicating that the park offers facilities for recreational vehicles in addition to its suitability for group events. This could be a significant advantage for those planning group outings or needing a location that can handle a larger number of people and RVs simultaneously. If you are organizing a retreat or a large get-together and are looking at RV parks near me that can cater to such needs, Twin Pines RV Park might be worth further investigation.
The same positive review also comments on the quality of the bathrooms and showers, describing them as "great." However, this positive note comes with a caveat regarding water usage. The reviewer points out that the positive experience is contingent on other users being mindful of water consumption, mentioning issues such as long showers, excessive water play, and leaving sinks running. This suggests that while the facilities themselves may be good, there could be potential issues with water pressure or availability if multiple users are not conservative. For those who value good bathroom and shower facilities when choosing RV parks near me, this feedback presents a mixed picture – the facilities are good when water is available, but responsible usage by all guests is crucial.
Another specific environmental concern mentioned in one of the reviews is the presence of ground bees. The reviewer advises caution regarding these insects. This is an important piece of information for potential visitors, especially those with allergies or those traveling with children or pets who may be more susceptible to stings. When considering RV parks near me, awareness of potential environmental hazards like ground bees is essential for ensuring a safe and comfortable stay.
In contrast to the earlier positive feedback, a more recent review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the current state of Twin Pines RV Park under new ownership. This reviewer states that what "used to be a nice park" is now being "run in the ground." This is a strong negative assessment and suggests a decline in the park's quality or management. For individuals who may have had positive experiences at Twin Pines in the past and are now searching for RV parks near me again, this feedback indicates a potentially significant change in the park's condition.
The more critical review further elaborates on specific issues. One major concern is the absence of an on-site host. The presence of an on-site host is often valued by RV park guests as it provides a point of contact for assistance, security, and general inquiries. The lack of an on-site host could lead to feelings of insecurity or difficulty in resolving issues promptly. When comparing RV parks near me, the availability of on-site management is often a key consideration for many travelers.
Another significant complaint in the negative review is the overgrown state of the campsites, with weeds reportedly "over growing" them. The maintenance and upkeep of campsites are crucial for providing a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment for RVers. Overgrown weeds can make sites less usable, less attractive, and potentially harbor insects or other pests. For those seeking well-maintained RV parks near me, this feedback suggests that Twin Pines RV Park may currently fall short in this aspect.
Finally, the recent negative review also highlights a significant change in pricing. The reviewer mentions that the rates "were always so reasonable" but have now been "jacked...to the moon." A substantial increase in rates, especially when coupled with a perceived decline in the park's condition and services, can be a major deterrent for budget-conscious travelers searching for affordable RV parks near me. This suggests that Twin Pines RV Park may no longer offer the value for money that it once did, according to this particular customer.
Given the contrasting nature of the two available reviews, it is difficult to form a definitive picture of the current state of Twin Pines RV Park. The earlier review suggests potential strengths in accommodating groups and the quality of bathroom facilities (with a caveat about water usage), while also noting the presence of ground bees. The more recent review paints a concerning picture of decline under new ownership, citing the lack of an on-site host, overgrown campsites, and significantly increased rates.
For local users searching for RV parks near me in Grants Pass, it would be prudent to approach Twin Pines RV Park with caution and to seek more recent reviews from various online platforms to get a broader and more current understanding of the park's conditions and management. Contacting the park directly using the provided phone numbers – (541) 773-6400 or +1 541-773-6400 – to inquire about the current situation, amenities, staffing, and pricing policies is highly recommended. Asking specific questions about campsite maintenance, on-site management presence, water conservation measures, and any current rates or promotions would be beneficial.
While the address places Twin Pines RV Park in Grants Pass, near the natural attractions of Southern Oregon, the internal conditions and management of the park, as suggested by the more recent review, may outweigh the benefits of its location for some travelers. It is essential for potential visitors to weigh the reported drawbacks against any potential advantages, such as its suitability for groups, and to conduct thorough due diligence before making a reservation.
In conclusion, Twin Pines RV Park in Grants Pass, Oregon, presents a mixed profile based on the available customer reviews. While it may have once been a well-regarded option, recent feedback indicates potential issues with park maintenance, management, and pricing. Individuals searching for RV parks near me should carefully consider these points and seek up-to-date information before deciding whether Twin Pines RV Park meets their needs and expectations.

Twin Pines RV Park Reviews
It is very good for retreats or big get-togethers. They accommodate for rv's, also. The bathrooms and showers are great aslong as someone does not use up all the water taking a long shower, having a water slide, leaving the sink on, etc. Also, be careful of ground bees.
Jul 21, 2019 · Jay ReitmeierThis used to be a nice park but new owners are running it in the ground. No on site host and weeds are over growing the camp sites. The rates were always so reasonable and now they have jacked them to the moon.
