Rogue Lea Estates Introduce
Rogue Lea Estates is a mobile home park located at 414 Currie Ln in Grants Pass, Oregon. Situated in the Grants Pass area, this community appears to cater primarily to senior residents, as indicated by one of the customer reviews referring to it as a "senior park." While its primary focus is on providing long-term residential options for seniors in mobile or manufactured homes, individuals searching within the broader category of "RV parks near me" might consider such communities if they offer long-term RV sites or if they are exploring different types of retirement living arrangements that could include RVs. However, it is important to note that senior mobile home parks typically have age restrictions and a focus on permanent or semi-permanent housing rather than short-term RV stays.
The available information about Rogue Lea Estates includes the park's name, contact details (phone: (541) 476-9903, mobile: +1 541-476-9903), address, and two contrasting customer reviews. These reviews offer differing perspectives on the park's affordability and overall appeal, which potential residents should carefully consider.
One review expresses significant concern regarding the financial aspect of living at Rogue Lea Estates. The reviewer states that the park is "only about $$," implying a focus on profit over the well-being of its residents. A major complaint is the consistent annual increase in space rent ("they raise the space rent EVERY year without fail"), which the reviewer believes is unsustainable for the residents, particularly seniors living on fixed incomes. The sentiment expressed is that the management "care nothing about it's residents" and that eventually, the increasing costs will make it unaffordable for many to continue living there. Based on this experience, the reviewer strongly recommends "living anywhere but Rogue Lea Estates." This negative feedback highlights potential issues with affordability and management's approach to rent increases, which could be a significant deterrent for prospective residents, especially seniors on a budget.
In contrast, the second review offers a positive impression of the park's aesthetic appeal and the availability of housing. This reviewer describes Rogue Lea Estates as a "Beautiful park" and notes that there are "Lots of homes for sale," encouraging others to "Come check it out!" This suggests that the physical environment of the park is well-maintained and attractive, and that there are opportunities for individuals to purchase a home within the community. This positive feedback could appeal to those seeking a visually pleasing and established senior living environment with options for homeownership.
Given these two very different perspectives, it is essential for potential residents to weigh both the positive and negative feedback. The beauty of the park and the availability of homes for sale are attractive features. However, the serious concerns raised about लगातार rent increases and a perceived lack of care for residents' financial well-being are significant factors that could impact the long-term affordability and quality of life at Rogue Lea Estates.
As Rogue Lea Estates is described as a "senior park," it likely has age restrictions for residency. This is an important factor for those searching within the "RV parks near me" category who might be of senior age and considering a longer-term stay in a mobile home park setting. They would need to verify if they meet the age requirements for this community.
Information regarding the specific services and features of Rogue Lea Estates is limited to what can be inferred from the reviews. The mention of space rent implies that residents own their mobile homes but lease the land. The presence of homes for sale suggests an established community with infrastructure to support long-term living. However, details about amenities such as community centers, recreational facilities, landscaping maintenance, security, or utilities included in the space rent are not provided in the reviews. Similarly, there is no information about any specific rules or regulations of the park.
The environment of Rogue Lea Estates is described as "Beautiful" by one reviewer, suggesting well-maintained grounds and an aesthetically pleasing setting. However, the negative review does not comment on the physical environment, focusing instead on management and financial aspects. Potential residents would benefit from visiting the park to assess its visual appeal and overall atmosphere for themselves.
There is no promotional information available for Rogue Lea Estates in the provided data. It is unknown whether they offer any incentives for new residents, special financing options for purchasing homes, or any other promotional offers to attract seniors to their community.
For local users in Grants Pass and the surrounding areas who are of senior age and exploring retirement living options, including those who might be considering a mobile home park as an alternative to traditional "RV parks near me" for a longer-term stay, Rogue Lea Estates presents a community with apparent aesthetic appeal and homeownership opportunities. However, the significant concerns raised about लगातार rent increases and the perceived lack of resident care are critical factors that must be investigated further.
Prospective residents are strongly advised to contact Rogue Lea Estates directly at the provided phone numbers ((541) 476-9903 or +1 541-476-9903) to inquire about residency requirements (including age restrictions), space rent costs, the history of rent increases, and the policies regarding rent adjustments. They should also ask about the amenities and services offered within the park, the rules and regulations, and any costs associated with homeownership or leasing a space. Visiting the park to assess its beauty and to speak with current residents (if possible) would provide valuable insights into the community atmosphere and the accuracy of the contrasting reviews.
In conclusion, Rogue Lea Estates in Grants Pass, Oregon, is a senior mobile home park that is described as "Beautiful" with homes for sale. However, a significant concern has been raised regarding लगातार rent increases and a perceived lack of consideration for residents' affordability. Local seniors considering this community should carefully weigh these contrasting views and conduct thorough due diligence to understand the long-term financial implications and the overall living experience before making a decision. While it may offer an attractive environment and homeownership opportunities, the issues raised about rent policies warrant serious investigation.

Rogue Lea Estates Reviews
This senior park is only about $$, they raise the space rent EVERY year without fail and care nothing about it's residents. Eventually no one residing in the park will be able to afford to live there. I would highly recommend living anywhere but Rogue Lea Estates.

Sep 08, 2020 · KEL LetvinchuckThis is a senior park, which essentially cares nothing for seniors. In the past several years this 55+ mobile home park has taken away our community garden, increased our rents dramatically, disregarded or ignored the implementation of rules that were part of the reason many of us moved into this park. When I first moved here, the park was a really nice place to live, but the IPG corporation, which now owns Rogue Lea Estates has continued to increase our rents at a rate much greater than Social Security increases. The monthly income requirement for approval to live in the park is more than double what was required when I moved into the park, which makes it more and more challenging for those of use who have lived here for some time.At one time, the homes and yards were required to be kept up and in good repair but this is no longer the case, and there are quite a few homes that need to be painted and maintained. There is a yearly inspection of the sites, but the rules governing site maintenance are not uniformly enforced, with some homeowners required to fix minor problems and others getting away with major infractions. The park itself is in a lovely setting, but owners are no longer required to keep up their homes, and so the park is becoming more and more run down. The managers do not treat all tenants equally, I am not sure why this is but I can only surmise that it depends on how they feel about the tenant or whether they think the tenant has money and can afford to keep up their site. A statement I have heard more than once from them is: Well, you can afford to keep your house up, but they don't have that kind of money.
Jul 06, 2024 · Anamaria BustamanteVery peaceful, quiet place. My folks moved there to be closer to Mom's Dr. Dad called the beautiful gazebo & ponds across from them 'his park'. My kid brother even got married there. County took half the back yard to enlarge the road behind. It sold for half the value due to the underground plumbing needed replacing per the park. (?) My Dad very much enjoyed his end days there.
