Western Pines RV Park Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Nacogdoches, Texas area, Western Pines RV Park, located at 5001 NW Stallings Dr, Nacogdoches, TX 75964, USA, presents itself as a community-oriented option for RV travelers and those seeking longer-term stays. You can reach them at (936) 645-6352 or +1 936-645-6352 for inquiries and reservations. Based on feedback from previous guests, Western Pines RV Park offers a blend of positive community aspects and areas where potential visitors might want to consider their personal preferences.
One recurring theme in the reviews is the strong sense of community and safety reported by some long-term residents. One reviewer mentioned feeling safe and having neighbors who looked out for them during their year-and-a-half stay. This suggests that Western Pines RV Park fosters a friendly environment where residents can feel secure and connected. For individuals and families seeking a welcoming and supportive community atmosphere during their RV stay, this could be a significant advantage.
The helpfulness and kindness of the management, particularly someone named Pam, have also been highlighted positively. According to one review, the management was "extremely helpful and kind," contributing to a positive living experience. This level of attentive and caring management can be crucial for a comfortable and stress-free stay, especially for those who are new to the area or planning an extended visit.
Western Pines RV Park is also reportedly undergoing upgrades, which is a positive sign for the ongoing improvement and maintenance of the facilities. These upgrades suggest a commitment to enhancing the guest experience and ensuring the park remains a desirable place to stay. While the specifics of these upgrades aren't detailed, they indicate a proactive approach to maintaining and improving the park's infrastructure and amenities.
For pet owners, Western Pines RV Park appears to be a welcoming environment. One reviewer specifically mentioned an area dedicated to pets and noted that residents were responsible in picking up after their animals. This pet-friendly policy, coupled with dedicated spaces, can be a significant draw for RV travelers who bring their furry companions along. The emphasis on cleanliness in pet areas also contributes to the overall appeal of the park.
The park also emphasizes rules that are intended to maintain a pleasant environment for all guests, including adherence to a 5 mph speed limit for vehicles within the park and the expectation that pet owners clean up after their animals. Additionally, illegal activities are reportedly not allowed, which contributes to a family-friendly and secure atmosphere, as mentioned by one reviewer who found it "perfect for families or people looking for a great spot." The presence of a sitting area at the back of the park was also noted as a nice feature, potentially offering a relaxing space for residents to unwind and socialize.
However, it's important to consider all feedback to gain a balanced perspective. One significant concern raised by a recent visitor is the park's proximity to the highway, resulting in considerable noise that made it difficult to sleep. This is a crucial factor for light sleepers or those prioritizing a quiet environment. The reviewer, who stayed overnight, described the location as "awful and loud," even with a relatively new RV with good insulation. This suggests that the highway noise could be a persistent issue for some guests, regardless of their RV type.
Furthermore, this reviewer also mentioned an "unprofessional" response from the owner to their negative feedback, including accusations of lying about staying at the park and making assumptions about the quality of their RV. While it's important to note that this is one individual's experience, it does raise a point about customer service and how feedback is handled. Potential guests might want to consider this aspect alongside the positive comments about the management's helpfulness.
Based on the available reviews, here's a summary of the environment, services, and features of Western Pines RV Park:
- Environment: A community-oriented atmosphere where some long-term residents report feeling safe and connected. However, its location right beside the highway is a significant drawback for noise-sensitive individuals. The park is reportedly clean, with rules in place to maintain a pleasant environment.
- Services: While specific amenities like laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, or recreational areas aren't detailed in the reviews, the mention of ongoing upgrades suggests potential improvements to the park's services. The management is described as helpful and kind by some, but one review indicates potential issues with how negative feedback is handled.
- Features: Pet-friendly with a dedicated pet area and expectations for owners to clean up after their pets. Rules are enforced regarding speed limits and conduct within the park. A sitting area at the back of the park is available for residents. The park is undergoing upgrades.
- Promotional Information: No specific promotional offers are mentioned in the provided reviews. Interested individuals should contact the park directly at the provided phone numbers for information on current rates, availability, and any special deals.
In conclusion, Western Pines RV Park in Nacogdoches, TX, appears to offer a community-focused environment with a caring management team (according to some reviews) and ongoing improvements. It's pet-friendly and emphasizes rules to maintain a clean and safe atmosphere. However, the significant drawback of its proximity to the highway and the resulting noise levels should be a major consideration for potential guests. Additionally, the reported unprofessional response to negative feedback is something to keep in mind. If you value community and don't mind highway noise, or if the positive aspects outweigh this concern for you, contacting Western Pines RV Park directly for more information and to assess if it meets your specific needs is recommended.

Western Pines RV Park Reviews
This is an r v park, so they don't have rooms. You bring your own RV.So I guess my room is great lol. They're sticklers about driving the speed limit, which is five, picking up after your dog, which is good. But it's right beside the highway. It's so loud and hard to sleep. For that reason, I would not suggest staying here. UPDATE: After I posted this review the owner unprofessionally responded accusing me of lying about staying here. I'm here with my spouse who is working out here for months. Definitely overnight stay lol, and its VERY LOUD and we have a beautiful "newer" RV with great insulation, less than 4 years old actually. Like I said it's an ok place but location is awful and loud...oh yeah and apparently they have an unprofessional owner who responds to reviews that are unfavorable, with accusations of lying and having trashy RVs.
Jan 20, 2025 · china lynchWestern Pines was an amazing place to stay for the last year and a half. I felt safe there, there were always neighbors watching out for me, and Pam was extremely helpful and kind. They are making upgrades to the park which has been amazing and the location is perfect if you want to be near town with a lot of shopping in the area. My fur baby really enjoyed the area dedicated to pets and everyone picked up after their pets. It’s a clean park with rules that are meant to keep everyone happy and the area a nice spot. The sitting area at the back of the park is really nice. There are no illegal activities allowed which makes it perfect for families or people looking for a great spot. I really enjoyed my stay at Western Pines and hope to return soon!
Jul 30, 2024 · Haley HensonWe stayed last minute for one night. Right by the highway, easy access plus there is a truck stop on the same access road if you need gas for a big rig. We booked over the phone and Pam was very helpful. Simple park, but nice. Full hookups, good rate. We parked on an all grass spot, which was very level. We would definitely return. Class A diesel pusher 40' plus toad (we did unhook before arrival)
Sep 28, 2024 · Karin KuklaWe had truck issues and had to stop in Nacogdoches in the late afternoon to get repairs done. We called Western Pines and was able to reserve a spot for the evening. Pam was very friendly and helpful and worked with us since we were not sure how long we would need to stay. The park is nice and clean, located right off of hwy 59 so you will hear road traffic but it didn't bother us. Great place to stop for a night when traveling thru or wanting to check out the area. We'll come back when in the area again.
May 16, 2024 · Michelle GonzalesThe folks here are GREAT. They work hard at keeping the place looking fine and help when you need anything. Pam, Gene and Marion are 'Salt of the Earth" type folks. So glad I stayed here. No rooms, it is an RV park. A bit close to the highway.
