We came here on our 1 year wedding anniversary and stayed in the little cabin. It was very cozy and comfortable. The owners are dear friends of ours and made the weekend very special for us! Loved every minute of it and the location is beautiful. It’s about a 15 minute walk to downtown Salmon which is fun to explore. Would definitely go again!
Oct 08, 2024 · Ty CurryOn a little road trip and needed a place to stay. Comfy bed and beautiful setting along the river looking at the mountains. Our hosts were gracious and pointed us to great dining. It gets quiet at night even though it's along the main road. Felt very safe trotting to restroom in middle of the night. Thank you!
Sep 20, 2024 · Brenda DahmenThis is a great RV Park in Salmon. The owners could not have been more friendly, kind, and helpful. This is a smaller, older park, so the trees are huge and the whole park has shade, so much grass! The spaces are wider than average, with full hookups, and this park is impeccably maintained. They have a lovely walk out deck over the Salmon River and a huge, huge pet area-all grass, though not fenced, which wasn't an issue for us.The rates are unbelievably low, and the park is very quiet. They have multiple tent spaces. We stayed here with our two dogs, there were lots of other dogs, all leashed, well-behaved, and the other guests were very friendly.Everything in Salmon is within walking distance, the main street is a 5 minute walk. Lots of restaurants, a supermarket, etc.I can't say enough about this little gem of a park in the Gem State. We would stay here again any time and wholeheartedly recommend this park.It is perfect as a one night stop over, but if you are rafting, etc, it is fabulous for multiple stays.
Jul 29, 2024 · Diane AllenWe spent last night at this great little park on the river. Owner was onsite and extremely helpful. The bathrooms and laundry are older but very clean as was the entire park. The spots are decent sized and the park is real quiet and peaceful - particularly at night. I believe the owners are new within the last year and they have created a nice spot.
Sep 23, 2024 · S HollidayThis campground was small and quiet. We did book one of the 2 VIP River sites. It was well worth the upgrade as our RV opened right onto a concrete pad and wooden balcony overlooking the river. After a long day driving it was a wonderful treat. The only downside would be the extra charge for showers at $8 that would be an additional $32 for my family to shower. I have never encountered a fee so high and was surprised the cost was not mentioned on the website. We did have full hook ups so didn’t need the dump station but I did notice it was another additional fee, $12 to dump. That being said it was a lovely spot just would like to see the additional charges noted online to avoid the surprise.
