This place is beautiful! Got there around 10:15am on a Saturday and got one of the last day use parking spots. $10 for the day of $5 if you have a national parks pass. There is limited parking for the day use area but that kept the crowds down. Although it was busy there was enough room for everyone. The swimming area is relatively shallow for a distance from the shore but deep enough to comfortably swim. The property seems well managed with a gate attendant and camp hosts making rounds throughout the day. There is a bathroom, picnic tables, and fire pits in the day use area. We brought our dogs and they loved it as well! People started clearing out around 4pm with lots of spots left open. The resort is a half mile down the street and a pizzeria, general store, marina, and entertainment. Would definitely recommend this place for a day at the lake! - Kaitlin McGee
