Two Rivers Campground & Tubing Reviews
Wonderful campground! It went beyond our expectations! They had a live band one of the evenings, fun things for kids, and a little store. There are SO many activities, you will not get bored. We chose a lot with a concrete patio and that was nice. It was a bit snug to get in, but we managed. My recommendation - arrive before dark!
Nov 12, 2024 · Christina Martinez-PattersonI had such a great time at Two Rivers. The sites were well maintained, easy to access and spacious. There were so many fun things for the kids to do. They have several pools, a HUGE Bounce House, Mini-golf course, and several play grounds. Plus fun for the older guests, volleyball and basketball courts, yard games, and shuffle board. You can also go on a two hour tube ride down the Platte River Valley. But the most amazing part of my stay at Two Rivers was the view. Being right on the banks of the Mississippi and Platte rivers was so peaceful and relaxing. This is a gated campground. But the helpful and friendly staff made getting after hours access easy. The Lodge was one of the most well stocked stores I've ever seen with a great variety of food and camping supplies. There are only two public restrooms and only one of them contained showers (three stalls). But when several times I went to use the showers there was no wait (actually no one there at all).
Sep 23, 2024 · Ian THad a great time. Perfect spot right on the river with plenty of spots to fish.. went tubing down the river with the group, which was fun, but with all the bends and debris on the sides you had to do a lot of paddling to not get caught in the debris/branches etc, so watching ahead and planning your line was essential, but a little experience helped. The following day I solo kayaked back down the river and anchored to fish along the way and it was much easier to navigate with a paddle. It was shallow enough to stop many times along the way when wanted.Definitely going back.
Sep 24, 2024 · Brad FreemanThe campground itself is beautiful and there is lots of fun to be had. Sites are small. Beware however, the management is easily angered and flys off the handle very quickly. All is good as long as you never issue a complaint. They will, without any warning or reason, kick you out. Tell you have 30 minutes to leave, or they will call the sheriff. I know of a handful of campers this has happened to just because they mentioned safety issues. Don’t bother getting hold of the owner as he will just say he backs his employees 100%. (except when a Worker brings a safety Issue concern up. They will be told to leave in 30 minutes or the sheriff will be called as well) They do not care about their campers. Safety be damned. Like I said, beautiful fun campground, but as long as it is under this new management, I will not step back there.EDIT: I knew Eric would respond as he did. They do enforce the rules equally… as all will be asked to leave if they make a complaint, especially if it is safety related.. Your campground may be beautiful, but management is NOT!
Sep 26, 2024 · Brenda BlonigenWe spent this Labor Day weekend here, it was our first time staying at two rivers and all I can say is wow wow wow! What a wonderful place . We will be returning as often as we are able. Campground was wonderful so many activities for my kids. This was the first time that my youngest kids have actually been camping and what a good experience! The campground was clean and the staff was so friendly. The memories we made this weekend are priceless !
