Mandell Trails Introduce
Mandell Trails is a mobile home park located at 108 Bay St, Butler, PA 16002, USA. For local users searching within the category "RV parks near me" or considering a mobile home park for long-term residency in the Butler, Pennsylvania area, it is crucial to be aware of significant concerns raised by current residents regarding the water quality and reliability of water service at Mandell Trails.
When evaluating potential living arrangements, especially within the "RV parks near me" category, access to clean and reliable utilities is a fundamental requirement. The available online reviews for Mandell Trails paint a concerning picture regarding the water situation. One resident strongly advises against moving to the park due to issues with the water supply. According to this review, the water is not clean enough for drinking or showering. The reviewer mentions that the owners are in the process of trying to connect to city water but are taking their time. In the interim, residents have experienced multiple water shutdowns during the winter months without any prior notice. This lack of communication has resulted in significant inconvenience, such as the reviewer having to go to work with shampoo in their hair on two occasions. Furthermore, the unpredictable water shutdowns have reportedly led to frozen pipes for some residents during the winter.
The first review emphasizes the lack of proactive communication from the park management regarding water outages, stating that residents are only informed after they complain. The overall sentiment is that living in the park is a "nightmare" due to these ongoing water issues. The reviewer expresses hope that the connection to city water will be expedited to resolve the daily concerns about water safety and the risk of broken pipes due to water being turned off in cold weather.
A second review corroborates the severe water quality problems, stating, "I feel awful for the residents here. They haven't had decent water coming from the tap in roughly three months! It is literally the color of tomato soup and cannot be boiled either! How are they expected to shower or clean dishes with that horrid water?! There's NO EXCUSE!" This review highlights the extended duration of the poor water quality, describing it as discolored and unusable for basic hygiene and household tasks. The strong condemnation ("NO EXCUSE!") underscores the significant distress and frustration experienced by residents due to this ongoing issue.
For local users specifically searching for "RV parks near me," the information regarding the water situation at Mandell Trails is a critical consideration. While RV parks typically have their own water hookups, the source and quality of that water are paramount. If Mandell Trails currently relies on the same water source as the mobile home residents, RVers considering a stay, especially a long-term one, would likely be affected by the same water quality and service reliability issues. The frequent shutdowns and the poor quality described would severely impact the comfort and practicality of staying in an RV at this location.
The provided information does not offer details about other services and features that Mandell Trails might offer, such as the layout of the park, the availability of amenities like laundry facilities, recreational areas, or the overall environment. The focus of the available reviews is overwhelmingly on the negative experiences related to the water supply. Therefore, it is challenging to provide a balanced introduction to the park based solely on this information.
Given the severity of the water issues described by residents, potential local users considering Mandell Trails for either mobile home living or as an "RV park near me" should exercise extreme caution and prioritize obtaining comprehensive and up-to-date information directly from the park management. Inquiring about the current status of the city water connection project, the interim measures being taken to ensure a reliable and safe water supply, and any compensation or support being offered to residents for the inconvenience would be essential.
For those specifically interested in "RV parks near me," it would be crucial to ascertain whether Mandell Trails currently accommodates RVs, the nature of the water hookups provided for RVs, and whether RV residents are subject to the same water quality and service issues as the mobile home residents. Additionally, information about other RV amenities, such as site sizes, electrical and sewage hookups, and any communal facilities, would be necessary to make an informed decision.
The lack of any positive promotional information or descriptions of the park's environment or other amenities further underscores the need for potential residents or RVers to conduct thorough due diligence. The strong negative feedback regarding a fundamental utility like water service should be a primary concern for anyone considering Mandell Trails.
In conclusion, the available online reviews for Mandell Trails in Butler, Pennsylvania, paint a concerning picture of significant and prolonged issues with water quality and the reliability of water service. The lack of clean drinking water, the tomato soup-like color of the tap water, and the frequent, unannounced water shutdowns, leading to frozen pipes, are serious problems that potential residents or RVers must be aware of. While the owners are reportedly working on connecting to city water, the timeline and interim solutions remain unclear based on the provided information. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living at Mandell Trails should contact the management at (724) 496-8215 or +1 724-496-8215 to get detailed and current information about the water situation and other aspects of the park before making any decisions. Given the severity of the issues raised, proceeding without thorough investigation would be ill-advised.

Mandell Trails Reviews
If you want clean, safe drinking water or clean water to shower in do not move here. The owners are in the process of trying to hook up to city water. But they continue to take there time. They have shut down the water several times this winter without giving us residents any notice. I have had to go to work with shampoo in my hair twice now. And other residents have had frozen pipes this winter because the park is shutting off water in the winter. They refuse to inform anyone that the water will be off a head of time. Only waiting till the residents complain. This park is a nightmare to live in. Hopefully the city water hook up comes quickly so we won't have to worry daily about having safe water or broken water pipes from them turning the water off.
