However, being located in Mapleton, Maine, it is likely situated in a region known for its natural beauty, potentially featuring woodlands, open fields, and a generally peaceful setting. One reviewer mentioned attending an open house during "Mapleton Daze," suggesting a connection to the local community and its events. Another reviewer reminisced about "good memories" from multiple summers spent there as a child, indicating a potentially welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere over the years. While specific details about the landscape, such as the presence of a lake or river, the density of trees, or the overall terrain, are not mentioned, the positive recollections suggest a pleasant outdoor setting conducive to camping and recreational activities. Services and Features:
Based on the customer reviews, Baptist Park Campground offers several notable services and features. One reviewer who attended an open house highlighted activities for children, including a "big checker/chess board" and a "big game of connect 4." They also mentioned a "slip and slide" that was available due to pool maintenance, indicating the presence of a swimming pool as a regular amenity for campers, although it was temporarily unavailable at the time of the open house. This suggests that water-based recreation is likely a feature during the camping season.
Another significant feature mentioned is a "golf course" on the property. The reviewer noted that it "could use some updating/redo" as the "courses weren't level anymore, and missing ball holder on most of them." Despite this, the presence of a golf course offers a unique recreational opportunity not commonly found at all campgrounds. This could appeal to campers who enjoy a round of golf during their stay.
The open house also included a "free supper" for attendees, indicating that the campground may occasionally host events with food provided. This suggests a community-oriented approach. Furthermore, one review details the summer camp program, priced at $250 per week for children, implying that the campground offers organized programs in addition to traditional camping.
For those interested in traditional camping, one review mentions a nightly fee of "$10 a person every night that you are camping." This provides a basic understanding of the camping rates. The positive experience of a summer camp attendee, who "loved it" and "definitely made lifetime friends," speaks to the quality of their summer camp program.
While these reviews highlight several key features like a pool, golf course, summer camp, and family-friendly activities, they do not provide a comprehensive list of all services. To learn about other potential amenities such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, fire pits, picnic tables, or the types of campsites available (e.g., tent sites, RV sites), it would be best to contact Baptist Park Campground directly.

The available customer reviews for Baptist Park Campground are generally positive. One reviewer has fond childhood memories of spending summers there, indicating a long-standing positive reputation for some. Their more recent visit during an open house also highlighted family-friendly activities and a welcoming atmosphere. The mention of a golf course, even with its need for updating, adds to the list of available recreational options.
The second review focuses on the summer camp experience, describing it as a positive and impactful one where the attendee made "lifetime friends." This speaks highly of the summer camp program's ability to create a community and provide a memorable experience for children. The information about the weekly cost of the summer camp and the nightly camping fee is also valuable for prospective visitors.

Baptist Park Campground Reviews
Went there during the open house during Mapleton Daze. They had big checker/chess board outside for kids to use, along with a big game of connect 4. During the open house they had a slip and slide due to the pool maintenance being done before it opened for campers. My 8 and 12 year old had lots of fun with that. They also had a golf course, that you could play. Could use some updating/redo.(courses weren't level anymore, and missing ball holder on most of them). They had a free supper for the people who attended the open house, and that was good. I went there when I was a kid, a few different summers. All good memories.
