Really nice trail. Just make sure you are prepared for a good walk. The trail takes a little over 3 hours to complete. I recommend snacks and water.
Dec 22, 2023 · Woot WootBeautiful hike, very well marked. Nice boardwalks. Lots of shade. Definite worth a drive to hike this trail.
Mar 27, 2019 · Amy HunterI love this hike! Always beautiful sights to see. It is fun trying to find wildlife
Feb 23, 2020 · Linda NunezTheres several feasible spots to set up, but the one with the adjacent bench is convenient and has a fantastic view looking up at the canopy. There's nowhere to really hitch up a food bag, and critters are wont to pass through. Overall, it's a fantastic lil' primitive site, definitely a favorite.
Jan 31, 2021 · Ugly CoyoteGreat place to camp during winter. Includes a fire pit, bench's, 2 picnic table and weather shelter. Lots of wild life, a little busy during weekends. It's 3.1 miles from the East and 4 miles from the West to the trail head. There is a canoe / kayak dock if you choose to paddle in but it'll still be a mile + hike.
