While the park's specific natural surroundings (e.g., proximity to water bodies, trees, etc.) are not detailed, the overall impression is of a well-kept and tranquil setting that contributes to a relaxing stay. The location on Beach Drive might suggest proximity to water or recreational areas, further enhancing the environmental appeal. Blennerhassett RV Park offers essential services that contribute to a comfortable and convenient RV camping experience. Both provided reviews highlight the availability of "water and sewer hook ups," which are fundamental for RV stays. The first reviewer also mentioned "reasonable rates," suggesting that the park offers good value for the services provided. One long-term guest who spent five months at the park considered it the "best campground in the area," indicating a high level of satisfaction with the overall services. This long-term stay also implies that the park is suitable for extended visits. The same long-term guest did, however, point out a couple of desired but currently missing services: "a clean laundry room, cable and internet!" The absence of a laundry facility on-site could be a drawback for longer stays, and the lack of cable and internet might be a consideration for those who rely on these connections for work or entertainment. Despite these noted omissions, the core services of well-maintained grounds, quiet atmosphere, reasonable rates, and essential water and sewer hookups are clearly provided.
The features of Blennerhassett RV Park are primarily geared towards accommodating RVs comfortably and conveniently. The "reasonable rates" make it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers. The park's well-maintained condition ensures a pleasant and functional environment for setting up and enjoying your RV. The quiet atmosphere contributes to a relaxing stay. The presence of "nice campers there, no junk" suggests a well-managed park that attracts a respectful community of RVers. The suitability for long-term stays, as indicated by the five-month visitor, is another significant feature, suggesting stability and a comfortable environment for extended visits. While the lack of a laundry room, cable, and internet are noted as missing features by one reviewer, the existing features cater to the fundamental needs of RV travelers seeking a quiet, well-maintained park with essential hookups at a reasonable price. The park's apparent focus on maintaining a clean and orderly environment, as suggested by the "no junk" comment, is also a notable feature.
The provided customer reviews do not explicitly mention any specific promotional offers at Blennerhassett RV Park. However, RV parks often have varying rates based on the length of stay, with potential discounts for weekly or monthly stays compared to daily rates. Given that one reviewer stayed for five months and considered it the best in the area, it is plausible that the park offers competitive long-term rates. To obtain the most accurate and up-to-date information on pricing and any potential promotions, local users are encouraged to contact Blennerhassett RV Park directly at (740) 706-1790 or +1 740-706-1790. Nice area, quiet, well maintained and nice campers there, no junk. Reasonable rates, water and sewer hook ups
Oct 15, 2024 · Justyn TymeSpent 5 months here. Best campground in the area all it needs is a clean laundry room, cable and internet!
Feb 13, 2021 · Nick NutterIt was our first time here. The owner/manager was very nice and accommodating over the phone. This was an old mobile home park with the sewer and water hookups at the rear of the sites. It was really hard to find the sewer and water on our site as they were covered by lots of leaves. The water hookups are below ground and I fell into the hole as there was no hard cover over it, just leaves. The sewer pipe was in such bad shape, we didn't dare try to use it. The electric hookup was next to the cement patio, low to the ground. The neighbors around us that we saw were very nice. There were a lot of full-time rvers here. There was a party going on just a few sites down from us and they were noisy, but when 10pm came, they were quiet. Not sure if it was because of the time or if police were called. The park is packed with trees. Leaves covered everything. Limbs were all over the ground. The site we got forced us to back across a median in the divided street, but it was not a big deal. The lot was wide and roomy. We could go back quite a ways to reach the sewer and water. The area was very quiet all night long.If you do get here to camp, you may have to dig up leaves to find the hookups. The park is full hookup. The are muddy sites along the river, but tell the owner not to put you on a soft site and he will accommodate you. We asked questions first and got answers, before we drove on down the road looking for something "Better." They were far and few between along this highway. We would return here to camp when in this area again.
Nov 04, 2020 · Suzie BThis is one of the nicest campgrounds in the area! Caters to long stays or weekend trips. My children had a blast fishing in the pond, and it was safe enough to allow bike rides. The owner, manager and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The park is in a country setting within the town limits. Hookups are available for sewer and electric. Internet is extra. If your family is needing a place to camp for the weekend, if you're tired of motel rooms while working on the road, or looking for a long term stay this is a great location!
Oct 05, 2020 · Writepower FerrellWarning: Class A not compatible. Uneven dirt pads. No cement and no rocks for the pads. At 40 a night definitely not worth it. Recent rain storm also made ground soft. River view blocked by privately owned trailers and houses. Almost a slum property in the inner city. Owners spend some money on the pads like cement or at least rocks. Sewer connection is below ground level is that legal. Almost alike a hole in the ground. Water connection below ground level remove cover and hookup. Back in over a small sidewalk from narrow street. Spend money on the park and you will receive a better rating. Park needs attention and owners involved
