The surrounding landscape could vary, potentially including wooded areas for hiking and nature trails, open spaces for picnicking and games, and perhaps even varied terrain offering scenic views. Recreational areas often prioritize the preservation of natural beauty while providing access for public enjoyment. Additionally, recreational areas have rules and regulations in place to ensure the safety of visitors and the preservation of the natural environment. Brooken Cove Recreational Area Reviews
Very nice place to relax with family and friends. We did camping in tent however more people brought their RVs. Every lot has power 110v and 240v plus water supply, stone picnic table, bbq grill and fire pit with grill as well. All lots was clean, and ready for visitors. Nice playground for kids in the shadow of trees. Restroom and shower with hot (warm) water are also ok. Lake Eufala delivers beautiful views, enjoy swimming or fishing.
Jun 27, 2023 · Egor RusakovThis is our second time staying in RV spot #14 @ Brooken Cove.. and I'm afraid this will be our last time staying here what happened to access to the lights being friendly to its campers with all the Rio Rap being put everywhere this is no longer Lake access friendly! Although it is $20 a night for electrical hookups it is a clean place it is quiet bathrooms are maintained but none of that really makes up for being able to put my kayak in the lake without having to walk a mile and a half down the way.
Jun 29, 2024 · Rue Ann JayThe staff was amazing. The bathrooms are the cleanest we've been in. Hot showers. Loved it there. We stayed a week.
Apr 25, 2024 · Barbara ReedVery well laid out campground. Very peaceful. Only a short drive to the dam. You will need to pay attention to the driveway length and watch out for the power lines. Bring a y and plenty of water hose. Not very busy this weekend, first one after labor day.
Sep 11, 2022 · marc woodWe were looking all around for a place we could take our dogs, camp, and swim. Most places didn't allow your pets to swim. We found Brooken Cove on recreation.gov. we absolutely love it here! The facilities are close by, they offered campsites that are close by each other or far apart (which we chose). The site had shade, fire pit, fire ring, picnic table, and a beautiful view and access to the water just feet away! We couldn't have asked for better. The facilities were a bit dirty on the men's side the night we came but the next morning had been cleaned so they obviously take care of the facilities. I would definitely come back and I definitely would recommend Brooken Cove Recreation Area! By the way we stayed at site 55 and it was awesome! Any of the locations on the side from about 59 to 55 looked great!
