One enthusiastic reviewer described Cabin Fever Campground as "clean and so much fun." This initial impression sets a positive tone, suggesting a well-maintained environment where guests can enjoy themselves. The reviewer highlighted several key features that make this campground stand out. The presence of "several fishing lakes" indicates a prime location for anglers of all levels. The availability of "plenty of places to put a boat or kayak in" suggests that water enthusiasts will find ample opportunities for enjoying the lakes, whether for leisurely paddling or more active boating.
The inclusion of a "swimming lake" is another significant amenity, offering a designated and likely safe area for campers to cool off and enjoy swimming during their stay. This is particularly appealing for families and individuals looking for water-based recreation beyond fishing and boating. Furthermore, the mention of a "giant dog running field" is a unique and valuable feature for pet owners. A dedicated space for dogs to run freely and safely is a major draw for those who travel with their canine companions, making Cabin Fever Campground a potentially excellent choice for pet-friendly "camping near me."
The positive experience of the reviewer during Labor Day weekend, a typically busy camping period, speaks to the campground's ability to handle crowds while maintaining a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. The "kids fishing derby" that was held suggests that Cabin Fever Campground actively organizes events and activities for its guests, particularly families. This commitment to providing entertainment and engagement can significantly enhance the overall camping experience.
The reviewer expressed a desire to return before winter, indicating a highly positive impression of their stay. The only minor drawback mentioned was the absence of a campground map upon arrival. However, the reviewer noted that they were able to navigate and figure things out on their own, suggesting that the layout is reasonably intuitive or that staff were available to provide guidance. While a map would be a helpful addition for future guests, this small inconvenience did not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.
Another reviewer echoed the sentiment of cleanliness, describing the campgrounds as "very clean" and the campsite areas as "well-kept and manicured." This reinforces the idea that the owners prioritize maintaining a tidy and attractive environment for their guests. The same reviewer also praised the owners as "very polite, courteous, and eager to help in any way you may need." This aligns with the previous review's positive comments about the overall fun and suggests that the staff at Cabin Fever Campground are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and ensuring a pleasant stay for all visitors.

The inclusion of a large dog running field is a significant and unique amenity for pet owners. While the name includes "Hunt Club," the reviews primarily focus on the campground amenities and recreational activities related to the lakes and the dog park. This suggests that while hunting might be an offering, the campground also caters strongly to those interested in more general outdoor activities and relaxation. Local users who are also interested in hunting opportunities might want to inquire specifically about the hunt club aspect when contacting the campground.

Cabin Fever Campground and Hunt Club Reviews
This place is clean and so much fun. There are several fishing lakes, plenty of places to put a boat or kayak in, a swimming lake, and a giant dog running field. We really enjoyed our stay labor day weekend. The kids fishing derby was a lot of fun. Hoping we can make it back again before winter! The only downfall is there wasn't a campground map provided, but we figured it out on our own.
Sep 09, 2020 · Sarah SunshineVery clean campgrounds well-kept and manicured areas for the campsites and the owners are very polite courteous and eager to help in any way you may need
Oct 05, 2021 · Carl SGreat family atmosphere with plenty of space! Perfect weather today for a visit with the kids at there site.
Jul 09, 2022 · Brian BoydI have not had the experience of Rick being great to work with, in fact I would say the opposite. He has shown himself to be unprofessional and unconcerned with my situation. I have heard him gossip scandalously about residents at the camp site. I am forced due to a job loss to sell my RV with 10 weeks left in the season he will be double billing the person who wants to buy my camper and take over my lot which is going to cost me another $1,250.
Jul 15, 2024 · chris bankieWe just got home from a 4 day stay in the campground.I was impressed with how well the grounds were kept! The grass was beautiful, the grounds very well maintained.Rick and everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The wifi was down when we checked in on Sunday afternoon.Rick tried to reboot, called for service, but being Sunday, no luck.But---- by Monday morning, it was back up and running! The IT guy was there and on top of it!I didn't expect to have wifi at all, so that was a bonus. Our site was about 6" out of level, side to side and no sewer hookups in the transient area are all that kept me from giving 5 stars. If 4.75 stars was an option, that's what I would have done.Beautiful, quiet and relaxing place!
