Camp Lakeview Introduce
For local users in the Graham, Washington area, and those searching within the "camping near me" category for a family-friendly campground with lake access and a variety of recreational activities, Camp Lakeview, located at 32919 Benbow Dr E, Graham, WA 98338, USA (phone: (360) 879-5426 or +1 360-879-5426), appears to be an excellent choice. Based on glowing reviews from satisfied campers, Camp Lakeview offers a welcoming environment, a range of amenities, and a beautiful lake setting, making it a popular destination for both tent and trailer camping.
The environment of Camp Lakeview is clearly centered around its namesake lake, providing "easy access to lake/swimming." This lakefront location is a significant draw, offering opportunities for various water-based activities such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding, as specifically mentioned by one enthusiastic reviewer. The presence of a lake enhances the camping experience, providing a natural playground for all ages and a picturesque backdrop for relaxation. The surrounding area also features "several small trails," suggesting opportunities for short hikes and nature walks, allowing campers to further explore the local environment beyond the immediate campsite.
In terms of services and features, Camp Lakeview seems to excel in providing a comfortable and convenient experience for its guests. The staff is consistently praised as "nice," "friendly," and "always attentive." One reviewer recounted an instance where staff promptly addressed a blown electrical fuse on their trailer hookup within ten minutes, highlighting their responsiveness and efficiency. This level of attentive service contributes significantly to a positive camping experience, ensuring that any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
The campground offers "older but clean facilities," including bathrooms, showers, and laundry. While the facilities might not be brand new, the emphasis on cleanliness is crucial for camper comfort and hygiene. The availability of hot water in the showers is specifically noted as a positive aspect, a welcome amenity after a day of outdoor activities. The presence of laundry facilities is particularly convenient for longer stays or for families wanting to pack lighter.
Recreational features at Camp Lakeview are abundant. Beyond the lake activities (swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding), the campground boasts a basketball court and a volleyball court, providing opportunities for sports and friendly competition among campers. The "several small trails in the area" cater to those who enjoy hiking and exploring the natural surroundings at a more leisurely pace.
The campground also features a store that is described as having the "right amount of stuff," including essentials like ice and firewood, as well as "plenty of treat options." This on-site store adds a layer of convenience, allowing campers to purchase necessities and snacks without having to leave the campground. The friendly and attentive staff at the store further enhance the overall positive impression of the campground.
One reviewer mentioned the layout of the campsites, noting that they are "right next to each other" and could feel "on top of each other if all sites were filled." This is a point to consider for campers who prioritize a high degree of privacy and space between campsites. While the reviewer who mentioned this still enjoyed the campground overall, those seeking more secluded sites might find this aspect less appealing, especially during peak season when the campground is likely to be at full capacity.
Despite the closely spaced campsites, another reviewer, who considers Camp Lakeview one of their personal favorites after visiting many campgrounds, found that there was "plenty of space at sites" in their opinion, and noted a "right amount trailer/tents spaces." This suggests that while the sites might be near each other, they are adequately sized for comfortable camping. The fact that this reviewer is a repeat visitor who "absolutely loves this place" and is even "getting ready to head there for the weekend" speaks volumes about the positive experience Camp Lakeview offers.
Promotional information is not explicitly stated in the reviews. However, the enthusiastic and detailed positive feedback from a regular visitor serves as a strong implicit endorsement. The reviewer's praise for the staff's attention to detail, the cleanliness of the facilities, the hot showers, the well-stocked store, the variety of activities, and the convenient distance from home all highlight the key benefits of choosing Camp Lakeview for a local camping getaway.
For local users searching for "camping near me" that offers a family-friendly atmosphere with lake access and a range of recreational activities, Camp Lakeview in Graham, WA, appears to be a gem. The combination of a beautiful lake environment, clean facilities, friendly and attentive staff, and amenities like sports courts and a well-stocked store make it an attractive option. While the campsites might be somewhat close together, the overall positive experiences reported by multiple reviewers suggest that the numerous other benefits outweigh this potential drawback for many visitors. The convenient location for local residents further adds to its appeal as a frequent getaway destination.
In conclusion, Camp Lakeview near Graham, WA, offers a delightful "camping near me" experience centered around a beautiful lake with opportunities for swimming, fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The campground boasts clean facilities, friendly and attentive staff, recreational amenities like basketball and volleyball courts, and a convenient store. Local users seeking a fun-filled and convenient lakefront camping experience should strongly consider Camp Lakeview.

Camp Lakeview Reviews
Nice staff. Easy access to lake/swimming. Older but clean facilities - bathrooms, showers, laundry. Campsites right next to each other, would be on top of each other if all sites were filled.
Jan 05, 2025 · AJ RuneyOur family absolutely loves this place. It hits so many just rights. Right amount trailer/tents spaces, plenty of space at sites in my opinion.Right amount things to do while there, fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, even a basketball ball court and volleyball court. There are several small trails in the area too. Right attention to detail from staff, my first time there I was hooking up the trailer and the electrical box had blown a fuse, told the staff they had it changed in 10 minutes tops. The staff is always on top of cleaning and take care of the place. And for real some hot water in those showers. Right amount of stuff in the store, ice, fire wood, plenty of treat options, staff is very friendly and always attentive. Right distance from my home to not be to far but still feels like we got away. Right now I almost regret writing this review but you guys deserve it. I am hoping it stays a little gem of a spot and no to many people figure it. Haha. I have been to many, many camp grounds in my life and this is one of my personal favorites. In fact right now I am getting ready to head there for the weekend.
Aug 29, 2024 · Nathan CechmanWe were excited to find a campsite close to Seattle but were a bit disappointed upon arrival. For the (high!) price, the bathroom cleanliness and site quality was subpar. No communal trash bins or proper rv dump. Wifi only works when close to reception. A bummer but maybe it’s better to visit during summer season.

Aug 29, 2024 · John CammarataAWFUL EXPERIENCE.If I could give 0 stars I would. We ended up with no place to stay and stressed with no help!!Paid for 2 nights, the first night was fine, 2nd day we went out for a few hours and came back to all of our stuff GONE. Tent, chairs, stuff inside our tent, EVERYTHING, with people occupying our spot also, they said they reserved this spot 6 months ago which is fine nothing to do with them. We went to the “manager” on duty with crazy hair (helpless) and she couldn’t give less of a damn?? Said “your tent is probably in the dumpster somewhere, you guys left and missed check out time” even though we had the note that said we weren’t for checking out for another day… she apparently didn’t know what camp worker removed our stuff? she couldn’t care less and apparently didn’t know where any of our stuff was nor did she offer any assistance in helping us. Great manager….. so she left us homeless, not offering anything or help which is insane. Just left us with “I don’t knows” and “nothing I can do” and stress. She also said there was no contact information left even though you have to leave your name, number and email address, which we did on check in, and in the office the next morning the lady Laurie had all our information in the system, this “manager” was making it up as she went along. She definitely knows what happened to our stuff, what type of “manager” wouldn’t know this? Not sure why as a manager you wouldn’t look into this and actually help. I guess it’s the type of person you have to be.Just a mention for Laurie that works in the office, she was very lovely and shocked by all of this.
