Each site is equipped with a fire ring and a picnic table, offering the basic necessities for an outdoor camping experience. In terms of services and features, Camper Village RV Park focuses on providing the fundamental requirements for RV travelers. The availability of water, electric, and sewer hookups is a significant advantage for those with recreational vehicles, allowing for a more comfortable and self-sufficient stay. For visitors planning a trip to the Ark Encounter, it's worth noting that the front office may be able to assist with information regarding transportation options to the museum, as mentioned by one reviewer. This local knowledge could be beneficial for those without dedicated transport.
However, it's important to consider all aspects of the recent feedback to gain a comprehensive understanding of the campground. One reviewer expressed concerns regarding the cleanliness of the bathrooms, noting issues such as hair in the shower, unemptied trash in the stalls, and a lack of paper towels. These comments suggest that the maintenance of the restroom facilities may be an area of inconsistency.
Another point of feedback to take into account is the proximity of some campsites. Specifically, sites 1 through 5 were described as being extremely close together, with one reviewer noting that their sewage hookup was only six feet from their neighbor's front door. This close proximity may impact the sense of privacy and personal space for campers in these particular sites. Additionally, the noise from the nearby interstate traffic was mentioned as a potential concern for some visitors.
The presence of several cabins and campers occupied by full-time residents was also noted by one reviewer, who indicated that this made them feel somewhat uncomfortable. This observation suggests a potential mix of short-term and long-term occupants within the park, which could influence the overall atmosphere of the campground.
Despite these concerns, a bright spot in the feedback was the camp host, who was consistently described as very nice. Positive interactions with campground staff can significantly enhance the overall camping experience, and a helpful camp host can provide valuable assistance and contribute to a more welcoming environment.
When searching for "camping near me" on platforms that list local RV parks and campgrounds, Camper Village RV Park in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, offers a location with essential hookups and proximity to attractions like the Ark Encounter. However, it is crucial for potential visitors to weigh the provided amenities against the concerns raised in the recent reviews regarding bathroom cleanliness, site spacing in certain areas, potential noise from the interstate, and the presence of long-term residents.

Camper Village RV Park, Dry Ridge Kentucky Reviews
I would recommend this camp ground. We stayed here two nights when we went to the Ark museum. If you are going to the Ark, talk to the front office first, if you need a ride. This camp ground has water, electric, and sewer. Our site was gravel (which was fine) and had a fire ring and picnic table. The campground also has bathrooms with showers.
Apr 19, 2025 · Rob ArtzBathrooms were dirty. Clump of hair in shower, trash in stalls had not been emptied in lately. Out of paper towels.Sites 1-5 extremely close. Our sewage was only 6 feet from the next camper’s front door. You could hear the interstate traffic. Several cabins and campers were full timers—it made me feel uncomfortable. The bright spot was the camp host— she as very nice.
Oct 25, 2024 · Rita RichardsCheck in after 3PM and check out by 10AM. We had planned on visiting the Ark Experience while traveling through KY on our way home. This was the closest campground to the Ark. we checked in shortly after 3, set up camper and had 1 hr to visit. I don’t understand reasoning for the short time frame except saving on electricity. When I asked why the only Office staff said she had to mow. Grass must grow quickly if they mow every day. Not a lot of grass except by dog run. I think they need more help. Little campground with multiple levels on hills. Mostly monthly workers. Great dog run and cute playground. Level site and long enough to accommodate our 34’ 5th wheel and extra vehicle.
Nov 10, 2024 · JR SlavenskiWe stayed in the RV park.Rebecca the manager was helpful and gracious. The RV park was 5 miles from The Ark Encounter, and an easy drive there. Restaurants and a Walmart were convenient to the RV Park. The pull-thru space accommodated our 36’ motorhome and a towed vehicle. The space was gravel - we did have to use our shims to level it. 50 amp, water, and sewer were available to us.We would stay there again. And the unexpected snow was a plus to us South Texans!
Feb 14, 2025 · Marsha DowellWe enjoyed our stay in a cute cabin with a large deck. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. The owners are extremely nice and are working hard to update things around the property. We got to hold a few of their adorable rabbits, and while we were there, one had babies we got to see. They are planning a petting zoo in the future with goats and other small animals. Campground is located very near the Ark Encounter, a short drive to Cincinnati, and near several good restaurants. We will be back.
