Destination Red River Cabins and RV Reviews
10/10!Do yourself a favor and book a weekend at this incredible hidden gem. Located on the edge of undeveloped acreage so you have the brightest stars imaginable. The cabins are quite roomy and very comfortable. They are very clean and accommodating. There is a separate his/her bathroom and shower house as well as bathrooms in each cabin. There are several RV slots with 30 and 50 amp service. Everything went really well and the hosts were very kind.We spent the morning on the huge deck watching bald eagles fish the river and a rancher riding their horse along the Oklahoma waters edge. The river is very accessible and it has 2 small boat ramps that allow you to launch kayaks and smaller boats. We caught several catfish and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The property is loaded with pecan trees that provided great canopy for all of the tent sites. They thought of everything when they ran water spigots and made fresh water easily accessible for everyone. We look forward to staying again and again. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
Oct 09, 2023 · Fernando SThis place is fantastic - beautiful river views, nice bathroom facilities and cabin options for those so inclined. Owner provided some firewood, trash cans, and checked in with us consistently to ensure we were enjoying our stay. Great weekend with fathers and sons. Will be back.
Apr 14, 2024 · Steve HahnA nature lovers paradise! We went tent camping and had an amazing spot overlooking the Red River, but there are also beautiful fully furnished cabins and full hook up RV spots. The property owner was amazing, she made sure we loved where we were, showed us around the property, supplied us with a locking trash can, fire pit, and fire wood. She was also very knowledgeable about the history of her property, the plants and animals, as well as events and things to do in the City. The property is very well kept and clean, with air conditioned restrooms equipped with showers. There is a pavilion furnished with electricity overlooking the river that is perfect for having a meal or just relaxing. There are beautiful wildflowers, natural springs feeding the river, and a abundance of life on the property. Shortly after arrival we had already seen 4 new birds and a new frog species that I had never seen before even though we live only a hour away, this area is just that healthy.Great fishing spot, owner has multiple spots to access the Red River, we targeted catfish and had nonstop action.I will definitely be going back!
Apr 24, 2022 · Bam OdleUnbelievable place . . . right on the river with clean and convenient facilities. I can't think of one complaint. We tent camped with family and one group got a cabin. All of it provided for, what one kid said was "the best weekend of his life". Book now, you won't regret it.
Apr 15, 2024 · Doug SandersVery peaceful and well kept place. We have stayed here twice, in the cabin and in the full hook-up RV site. When you think cabin, don't think rustic log cabin. The cabins are new and the the furniture is stylishly modern. The floor plan is very open and gives it a spacious feel. The view of the Red River through the French doors is magnificent! There's also a covered patio in the front and the rear to just sit back and catch a glimpse of a Bald Eagle. There is a glass cook top range, microwave, pots, pans, utensils etc.Digital TV channels and WiFi included. The RV sites are level and has 30/50 amp, water, sewer, grills and a fire pit. There is also a bath house for those that maybe would like more space than an RV shower. We will be staying here again in the future!
