Down South RV Park and Music Fest Reviews
Me and my husband stayed the whole entire weekend and decided to stay an extra night very peaceful and relaxing. Absolutely beautiful sunsets every night. I would definitely recommend staying here very pet friendly and kid friendly. The owners are very nice and friendly as well as the other campers in the park! And if you have to use the public restroom at the park, it is very clean as well as the laundry area!
Mar 04, 2025 · Tessa CainI had an excellent stay, it is so peaceful and relaxing! The owners were helpful, caring, and kind! The facilities are clean, modern, and I enjoyed having a wash house for laundry on site. If you are in the area I would suggest staying with Donnie and Danielle! You won’t find a better home away from home!
Feb 02, 2025 · Tyler NixonMy family and I were driving aimlessly to get away from Hurricane Helene in Tallahassee. We took a rest break at Walmart and got lucky that the owners happen to stop by at a good timing. If it weren't for them, we would have continued to drive. We decided to check it out and it was a great decision! They helped me with setting/hooking everything up with my camper. The pricing per night is cheap! My boys loved the playground and zipline 💙 My puppies made friends with their German Sheppard, Simba --super friendly doggie! They have a wash room for bathing, also includes a washer and dryer. They have horses. The entire campground site was perfect for my family. Thank you for making it a great experience, we will definitely be coming back!
Sep 28, 2024 · Soft AlexIt was just a fun event, full of country rock music, one of my favorites. Mostly family oriented, they had this funny name of a game called pork hole or something like that, where you pay 20 bucks to toss sacked bean squares into this hole that is like 4 yards away, whoever scores the most points per team, I think winner takes all or something like that. They had food vendors with drinks that cost 10 bucks which had pork rinds off to the side, they had food trucks and a sweet tooth vendor place for anywhere from 3-10 bucks per order, depending on what you fancy, all genuine good food, in my opinion, but you get a ticket voucher for every purchase to win cool prizes like a solar powered cooler, a mini grill, cool T-shirts, and coasters I believe. The event overall had friendly chill, real, down to earth people, which is cool in my book.
