Look no further than Evergreen Campsites & Resort, a well-established destination at W5449 Archer Ln, Wild Rose, WI 54984, USA, known for its extensive amenities and family-friendly atmosphere. With a commitment to upgrading its facilities and providing a wide array of activities, Evergreen Campsites & Resort aims to offer a memorable outdoor experience for local campers.
Evergreen Campsites & Resort caters to a variety of camping preferences. According to customer reviews, the resort has been actively upgrading its sites, including the addition of full hookups and pull-through sites, making it an attractive option for RV campers seeking convenience and modern amenities. While the exact number of RV sites, tent camping areas, or cabin rentals isn't specified in the provided information, the mention of site upgrades suggests a commitment to providing comfortable and well-equipped options for different types of campers. Local users searching for "camping near me" with specific requirements for hookups or site types are encouraged to inquire directly with the resort.
One of the standout features of Evergreen Campsites & Resort, as highlighted by multiple reviewers, is the sheer number of activities available for both kids and adults. The resort boasts well-maintained facilities such as a swimming pool, a separate adult pool for those seeking a quieter environment, a lake with inflatables for water-based fun, and multiple playgrounds perfect for children of all ages. These amenities suggest that Evergreen Campsites & Resort is particularly well-suited for families looking for a "camping near me" destination that offers ample opportunities for recreation and entertainment.
Beyond the recreational facilities, Evergreen Campsites & Resort also offers on-site dining options. One reviewer mentions a restaurant with "great food" and particularly praises the pizza. Additionally, the presence of a coffee shop is noted as "amazing," providing a convenient option for morning coffee or a quick snack. These on-site dining options add to the convenience of camping at Evergreen Campsites & Resort, allowing local users to enjoy meals and refreshments without having to leave the premises.
The staff at Evergreen Campsites & Resort are consistently described as "friendly and helpful" in the customer reviews. This positive feedback regarding the staff contributes to the overall welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere of the resort, making it a potentially appealing choice for local users seeking a relaxed and well-serviced "camping near me" experience.
However, one reviewer did bring up a couple of points to consider. They noted that the premium back-in sites felt more like group sites due to the proximity of the fire pits to neighboring sites. While some campers might appreciate this social aspect, others seeking more privacy might find it less desirable. Additionally, the reviewer raised a concern regarding the trees within the campground, stating that they were in "desperate need for trimming." They specifically mentioned the risk of damage to taller RVs due to low-hanging branches and even experienced scratching on their own camper. This is an important point for local users with larger RVs to be aware of and potentially inquire about when booking a site.
Despite the tree issue, the overall sentiment in the reviews is positive, with many guests expressing their intention to return. The long-term loyalty of some campers, as indicated by one reviewer who has been camping there since 2010, speaks to the enduring appeal of Evergreen Campsites & Resort. The continuous upgrades to the sites and bonfire pits further demonstrate the resort's commitment to improving the guest experience for those seeking "camping near me" with modern amenities.
For local users in the Wild Rose area and beyond, Evergreen Campsites & Resort offers a comprehensive camping experience with a wide range of amenities and activities suitable for families and individuals alike. The combination of upgraded camping sites, diverse recreational options including a lake and multiple pools, on-site dining, and a friendly staff creates a compelling option for those searching for "camping near me." While the tree situation is a factor for RV owners to consider, the resort's many positive attributes make it a strong contender for a local camping getaway.

We have been camping here since 2010, they have done an amazing job of upgrading sites and bonfire pits including adding full hookups and pull through sites! There are tons of activities for kids and adults! The pool, adult pool, lake with inflatables, and playgrounds are very well kept and perfect for kids of all ages! The on site restaurant has great food and the pizza is really good!!! The staff is friendly and helpful! Can’t wait to come back next year!!!
Oct 04, 2024 · bret wThis was our first time staying at this campground, and there is definitely a lot to like about it. Plenty of things for both kids and adults to do. Food was good, coffee shop was amazing and everyone was very friendly. However, there were a few things that we did not like. One of them was the premium back-in sites. They felt very much like group sites. Our fire pit was only about 20 feet away from our neighbors. Some people may like this, but it definitely wasn’t our style. But our biggest complaint about the campground was the trees. They are in desperate need for trimming. Our camper is about 13 feet tall, and we had to be very selective as to which roads we took so we wouldn’t cause damage to our roof. Our campsite in particular had a very low tree that caused us to not even be able to back in all the way.Update: it’s not that the trees didn’t meet our expectations… it’s that they literally scratched our camper and could have done far worse damage if we didn’t pay attention.
Sep 04, 2024 · Danielle SnyderOne of my favorite kid friendly places. It is pricey though. We stay in a Premium Cabin. Bathroom and shower are tiny but at least we have one, some don't. The pool and lake beach are awesome. I would not recommend mini golf. $10 for 9 boring holes. WiFi sucks and couldn't get cell service. Overall, A-.
Jul 25, 2024 · LoriSuch a wonderful, family friendly vacation spot! Tons of activities going on, a nice beach area for relaxing and multiple bars with great selections. Our check in was fast and easy, we got to our spot with zero issues. The staff was so friendly in every encounter we had, from renting the golf carts to enjoying our morning coffee at their on site espresso shop.We will absolutely be returning for more vacations here!
Jul 23, 2024 · Brooke McIntyreWe have been coming here for about8 years. We want our grandkids to experience camping. We booked for 3 different weekends. In order to secure the lot you want , you have to pay extra. Then the showers either run cold or scalding hot. Haven't been fixed by our 3rd visit. They run out of snack items. The other people that are around you don't respect noise. We had people loud until 1 am. It was hard for the kids to sleep. We love coming up here but management needs to reevaluate what's going on
