Fiesta Key RV Resort and Marina Introduce
For local residents seeking an exceptional "camping near me" experience in a unique and vibrant setting, Fiesta Key RV Resort and Marina, located at 70001 Overseas Hwy, Layton, FL 33001, USA, presents an exciting option. Situated in the heart of the Florida Keys, this resort offers a distinctive blend of RV camping, marina facilities, and resort-style amenities, all set against a stunning waterfront backdrop. While the reviews provide both glowing praise and areas for potential improvement, Fiesta Key RV Resort and Marina offers a compelling choice for those looking for a memorable and amenity-rich camping experience close to home.
The environment of Fiesta Key RV Resort and Marina is undoubtedly one of its most significant assets. Located in the Florida Keys, the resort boasts a prime waterfront location on both sides of the key, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding ocean. The "great view" mentioned in a review is a testament to the scenic beauty that guests can expect. The presence of a beach area further enhances the appeal, providing opportunities for relaxation, sunbathing, and enjoying the crystal-clear waters of the Florida Keys. The resort also features a pool area, offering another option for swimming and leisure. The overall layout with "large and well laid out" sites suggests a spacious and comfortable camping environment. However, one review did mention "garbage on the beach by the bar, and in the ocean all along the camp site," indicating a potential issue with litter that prospective guests should be aware of. Despite this concern, the fundamental environment of a waterfront location in the Florida Keys remains a major draw for those seeking a tropical "camping near me" experience.
Fiesta Key RV Resort and Marina offers a range of services and features aimed at enhancing the guest experience. A significant highlight is the on-site bar and restaurant, which is praised for its "friendly service" and "amazing" food. The regular happy hours are also a notable perk, providing a social atmosphere for guests to unwind and enjoy the waterfront views. The fact that trash pickup is provided is a convenient service for campers, contributing to a more enjoyable stay. The resort also features a pool and beach area, which are reportedly "always clean and well kept," suggesting a commitment to maintaining these key recreational facilities. For those with boats, the marina facilities offer direct access to the water, making it an ideal location for boating and fishing enthusiasts. However, one review pointed out a potential inconvenience in the "elite suite second bedroom" lacking outlets by the bed, which could be a concern for guests with specific medical equipment like CPAP machines. Additionally, the same review mentioned issues with noise after quiet time, suggesting that enforcement of these rules might be inconsistent.
The features of Fiesta Key RV Resort and Marina cater to a variety of camping preferences, particularly those seeking a more resort-style experience. The combination of RV sites and potentially other accommodation types (as suggested by the "elite suite" reference) offers flexibility for different travelers. The presence of a bar and restaurant provides a convenient dining and social option, reducing the need to always cook at the campsite. The pool and beach access offer dedicated areas for recreation and relaxation. The marina is a significant feature for boat owners and those interested in water activities. The friendly staff members, as noted in a positive review, contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. However, the reported issues with litter and the lack of consistent quiet time enforcement are features that detract from the overall experience and should be considered by potential guests. The large and well-laid-out campsites are a definite plus, offering more space and comfort compared to some more crowded campgrounds. The waterfront location being accessible on both sides of the key is also a unique feature, providing diverse views and potentially different water access points.

In conclusion, Fiesta Key RV Resort and Marina offers a compelling "camping near me" option for local residents seeking a waterfront getaway in the Florida Keys with resort-style amenities. The stunning location, complete with beach access, a pool, and a lively bar and restaurant, provides the foundation for a fantastic vacation. The large campsites and friendly staff are also significant positives. By contacting the resort directly, local users can inquire about current promotions and gain a better understanding of the services and features offered to make an informed decision about their next camping adventure in the beautiful Florida Keys.

Fiesta Key RV Resort and Marina Reviews
This was a fantastic vacation. The sites were large and well laid out, and the location cannot be beat. We also really enjoyed the bar/restaurant with regular happy hours and the food was amazing. Pool and beach area were always clean and well kept. We got to meet several staff members who were all so nice and helpful. Trash pickup was super helpful and we enjoyed the waterfront on both sides of the key. Overall, this was an amazing place that we truly enjoyed and certainly will be back!!
Apr 21, 2025 · RogerPros: great view, friendly service at the bar.Cons: elite suite second bedroom didn't have outlets by the bed (couldn't use a cpap machine), security should be doing rounds close to quiet time (our neighbors were partying until 3am very loudly, quiet time not enforced), the camp site was dirty with litter everywhere - garbage on the beach by the bar, and in the ocean all along the camp site.
Apr 22, 2025 · BrittanyOur stay at Fiesta Key was nothing short of incredible! This is hands down one of the best RV resorts we’ve visited on our travels, and the first one I’m already planning to return to before we wrap up our journey across the United States. The park is absolutely beautiful and immaculately maintained, with the raked beach being a true standout feature. The onsite bar and restaurant are the perfect additions, making it easy to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with great food, drinks, and friendly company. The seasonal tenants were incredibly welcoming and added to the fantastic sense of community here. One of the highlights of our stay was the entertainment—Elvis was phenomenal! It was a truly memorable night, and having him as a regular performer is such a special touch.A huge thank you to the entire team at Fiesta Key for creating such an amazing RV resort. Everything about this place works so well, from the beautiful setting to the welcoming atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back!
Feb 14, 2025 · Dave wardWe had the privilege of staying here two weeks. What an amazing park. The views. The pool. The people. The staff (they are so organized). Nick at the office was so helpful. Restaurant next door. Marcia at the store was so nice. They have lots of activities. Monday Market. This has an amazing vibe and just feels like home.
Mar 31, 2025 · Reginald VickersWhat a great campground! We stayed here with our 43ft fifth wheel RV for 2 weeks and had a great time and loved our stay.First: the marine life around this island is beautiful, active and rich. We saw manatees, shark, octopus, crabs, lobsters, jellyfish, slugs, many types of fish and more without any effort but just walking around the shore and on the pier. Incredible! I recommend going on a sunset or early evening walk with a flash light and looking around the pier for the blue octopus :)Location: remote and secluded yet close to most anything you could need. Just hour and a half to Key West and the south most point of the USA. Just 20mins to Marathon Island which has all the convenience of a small town with grocery stores, gas, things to do etc. The campground is quiet and tucked away from the road better than others on the islands.Grounds: clean, spacious and well maintained park. Roads, common areas and amenities are all in great condition and tended to perfectly. We loved the playground and that it’s gated so I could actually read my book and not worry about my kids running in the road.Sites: we were surprised at the number of spacious sites! Yes, some seems close together but there were mostly well spaced sites. Sites are clean and tidy. We did have a nice space right behind the cabins with ocean view- not right on the water but I think you can’t go wrong with any site/ you’d be at most a 3 minute walk to the water. I recommend parking your tow/personal vehicle at the parking lots available to free up yard space on your site. It made a big difference for us.There are variety of activities going on most days but to be honest we didn’t really attend any. We did enjoy the live music from the beach a few nights and that was lovely. While the campground was full with all spots filled, it didn’t feel crowded. Every time we went to the pool, beach, playground or on a walk by the pier it felt relaxing and peaceful.Note that there isn’t a beach with direct water access- you may go in the water over the rocks very easily but there is no typical sand beach. There are some not far from the campground. There is an area for canoes and paddle board access.Every staff member we interacted with was kind, friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat at the restaurant so we have no comments about that other than it seemed expensive, but not uncommon for the islands.Overall this was our best campground experience in FL (we’ve been to about 10 other campgrounds). It was fun, unforgettable and easy stay. We definitely look forward to coming again!
