In addition to traditional campsites, St Joseph Peninsula Campground also offers another appealing accommodation option: "cabins right on the bay that rent for about $100 a night, which is a good deal." These cabins provide a more comfortable and sheltered alternative to tent camping, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the bay with the added convenience of a cabin. The affordability of these bayfront cabins, as highlighted by a reviewer, makes them an attractive option for families or individuals seeking a step up from traditional camping without breaking the bank. St Joseph Peninsula Campground Reviews
Amazing nature abounds. The park was closed for over five years after hurricane Michael and has recently reopened. The campground is brand new including the bath houses. I’m not sure what it looks like before the storm, but there are not many trees in the camping area. There’s a nice nature trail that leaves from the campground through the dunes and along the bay. there’s fishing opportunities everywhere. They also have cabins right on the bay that rent for about $100 a night, which is a good deal. We visited in December, which is the off-season for the area and it was very quiet. Highly recommend this campground.
Dec 19, 2024 · Sandra EllisWinter camping along the Gulf. Happen to find this gem, freshly rebuilt after a hurricane while I was looking for a spot to stay and avoid the polar air coming down. The upkeep in this campground is the best I have ever seen in my travels.
Feb 04, 2025 · Brandon Spurlinvery very very pretty, the campsite was a little busy but i was able to squeeze in. the site was a little buggy and hot overnight but the bugs went away after a while and so did the heat, it got cooler and nicer. the view after waking up was fantastic! im trying to fit as many letters as possible into this review. i loved this campsite and highly recommend it
Mar 17, 2025 · Paxson EvansMiles of beach, tons of wildlife, friendly rangers, and nicely spaced and roomy campsites!
Nov 19, 2024 · JP !For small campers or campervans, perfect. Some sites will hold a larger RV, but it can't be fun when one is trying to cram their RV into one of the smaller sites. Electric/water on site and dump on the way out. Super close to the beach and quiet this time of the year even though full. Bathrooms and showers are good, and clean. Don't mind the closeness of the other campers. Folks are courteous and pick up after their pets. No complaints and quite idyllic.
