It's definitely out in the boondocks if you want to get away from the world I highly suggest this place, it's very old Florida. It's an older couple that owns the park and they're very friendly everybody we ran into that lived in the area was very friendly they all drive around in golf carts Gators or side by sides everybody seems to know everybody. It was nice seeing kids playing on a tire swing down the road and kids walking in groups with no shirts and no shoes it reminded me of my childhood! I didn't see a cell phone in any of their hands! We witnessed two 12-year-old boys drive a Jon boat down to the creek and back it in on a four wheeler by themselves with no adults and they knew what they were doing. This is the kind of place that you leave your doors unlocked at night and you do a lot of front porch sitting with an iced tea or lemonade in your hand. We tent camped just to check it out, and we loved it it was very primitive and very away from everything. We tent camped under a canopy of trees right next to the creek with our two dogs. We will definitely be back with our boat and camper next time. - Mari-Margaret Mischung
