Five Points Lake Hamilton Reviews
Absolutely loved it here! It’s the quiet cabin getaway you’re looking for. The fridge has breakfast items and cabinets full of whatever you need to cook, eat, and clean. Old school appliances, but the bathroom was updated. Stores and restaurants were less than 10 mins away. This place definitely comes recommended.
Apr 26, 2025 · NicholeOwners are great! Friendly and customer oriented, cabins are cozy and quiet. Breakfast fixins are perfect.
Feb 14, 2025 · Lee SharpIt's a beautiful location. It's very quiet, which makes for a romantic getaway. I stayed for two nights and absolutely loved how peaceful it was. The owner is very sweet and very helpful in directing you towards things to do. I will definitely be booking here again the next time we make a trip to Hot Springs, and I will be recommending this place to family and friends.
Apr 22, 2024 · Elizabeth AdcockHusband and I stayed here for 3 nights. Stunned by all of the high reviews, especially re: the cleanliness. (If this is "clean" to other guests, I can't imagine what they consider "dirty"???) After reading so many raving reviews, we had such high expectations, but left very disappointed. The AC worked great, the location was good, and the beds were fairly comfortable. That's where it ends. We should have left as soon as we saw how unkept the inside of the cabin was, but we were already committed. The cabin has so many issues, several of which are safety concerns (part of the floor in the bedroom is about to break through; same for the floor around the toilet; the panel to the water heater fell off, missing me by inches; husband's arm was singed trying to light the oven). There are years worth of dirt, grime and grease built up on almost every surface. I sat down on the futon and discovered a pile of dirt and lots of dog hair that ended up on my clothes. Lots of cobwebs everywhere. The shower curtain is in shreds. The stove and refrigerator were filthy. They are from the 1940s and cool, but have not been maintained. The outside of the cabin is overgrown with so much brush clinging to the wood - could barely see the lake. It seems the only thing "housekeeping" does is change the sheets (maybe??), replace the towels and restock the fridge. Absolutely nothing else is done in the way of cleaning between guests. I don't think it's even swept out since I ended up sweeping it myself, and there was a pile of dirt as a result. The cabins have good "bones", but not being kept up for years is showing. They are in desperate need of power washing on the outside and a a really deep cleaning on the inside. The property needs cleaning up - lots of garbage everywhere. So sad as the area has so much potential to be great, and it wouldn't take much to do it. Skip is such a sweet man and so hospitable! Glad to have met him! However, Five Points seems to be more than he and his staff can handle.
Sep 03, 2024 · Mrs HOverall the rooms are what one would expect with an old rustic cabin built pre-WW2. The area was wonderful, you feel like you are in the middle of the woods but only minutes from downtown Hot Springs. Plenty of space for our family of 5 in the 2 bedroom cabin. Skip was awesome! The breakfast food was an extra treat. The rest of the staff was also very nice. We didn't stay on site much but our opinion would be much different if we had spent more time there. The rooms were clean "ish". We found a few tags from clothes under the bed (which means the cleaning wasn't real thorough). The stove smelled crazy awful when we turned it on. The swim area wouldn't be fun for the kids as it was just a boat ramp (no sand). The fishing/boating docs were covered in goose poop. You can't really sit on the dock and fish. The property could use a good power wash.
