Forest Lake Village Introduce
Are you a local resident in search of a convenient and comfortable RV camping experience near you? Look no further than Forest Lake Village, an established RV park located at 41200 Roselle Lp, Zephyrhills, FL 33540, USA. You can reach them at (813) 782-1058 or +1 813-782-1058 for inquiries and reservations. As a featured option within the "camping near me" category, Forest Lake Village caters primarily to RV travelers, offering a range of amenities and a welcoming environment for both short and extended stays.
Based on recent feedback from satisfied guests, the environment at Forest Lake Village is generally well-regarded, particularly for its cleanliness. One reviewer explicitly mentioned it as "a very clean park," which is a significant factor for many RVers seeking a comfortable and hygienic camping experience. While described as "a little older," the park is also noted to be "kept up," suggesting that the management prioritizes maintenance and the overall appearance of the grounds. The setting is characterized as being "kinda out in the woods and cow fields," indicating a slightly rural location that might appeal to those seeking a quieter and more natural ambiance away from the immediate hustle and bustle of city life. Despite this more secluded feel, the park is also conveniently "not too far from amenities," striking a balance between peaceful surroundings and accessibility to essential services.
Forest Lake Village offers a range of services and features designed to enhance the comfort and convenience of RV living. The presence of full hookups, including "water, electric and sewer" at each site, is a standard and highly valued amenity for RV parks, allowing for a seamless and comfortable stay. The mention of "mobile home friendly RV parks" suggests that the infrastructure is well-suited to accommodate a variety of RV sizes and types, although one reviewer noted that "the spots are a bit tight to back into," which is a common characteristic of parks that also cater to mobile homes. It's advisable for RVers, especially those with larger rigs, to inquire about site dimensions and ease of access when making reservations.
Beyond the essential hookups, Forest Lake Village boasts several recreational and convenience-oriented features. The "pool and hot tub are very clean and very nice," according to one guest, highlighting these as attractive options for relaxation and recreation. These amenities can significantly enhance the overall camping experience, providing opportunities to unwind and socialize with other travelers. The presence of a "great clubhouse" is also mentioned, which often serves as a central hub for activities, social gatherings, and may offer additional facilities like laundry rooms, restrooms, or communal spaces.
For pet owners, Forest Lake Village offers a significant advantage with its "great dog park that is mostly grass with a ton of shade and access to water." A well-maintained and thoughtfully designed dog park is a valuable amenity for RVers traveling with pets, providing a safe and enjoyable space for their furry companions to exercise and socialize. The combination of grass, shade, and water access demonstrates attention to the needs and comfort of pets.
While most aspects of Forest Lake Village receive positive feedback, one reviewer did mention a less-than-ideal experience with the "trash valet" service, noting that their garbage bag was ripped, and the trash was left in the street. This appears to be an isolated incident, but it's worth noting as a potential area for improvement in service. However, the reviewer still recommended staying at the park, indicating that the positive aspects outweigh this particular issue.
For those who enjoy outdoor activities beyond the RV park itself, Forest Lake Village is conveniently located "near several nature trails." This is a significant benefit for local users who appreciate walking, hiking, and exploring the natural beauty of the Zephyrhills area. The proximity to nature trails offers an added dimension to the camping experience, providing opportunities for recreation and immersion in the local environment.

In conclusion, for local users searching for "camping near me" in the Zephyrhills area, particularly those with RVs, Forest Lake Village offers a clean and well-maintained option with a range of desirable amenities. The park's features, including full hookups, a clean pool and hot tub, a great dog park, and proximity to nature trails, contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Forest Lake Village Reviews
A very clean park. I stayed here for a few weeks with my travel trailer and had no issues. The spots are a bit tight to back into but that is to be expected in these mobile home friendly RV parks. The pool and hot tub are very clean and very nice. There’s a great dog park that is mostly grass with a ton of shade and access to water. I didn’t engage much at all with the staff, but had no issues. Their trash valet is not the best. They ripped my garbage bag and left the trash in the street for me to clean up. I still would recommend staying here as it is nice and not too far from amenities. If enjoy walking, it is near several nature trails.
Apr 29, 2025 · Samantha BowieThis is an RV park. Clean a little older but keep up. The spots are small but adequate. Water, electric and sewer. Great pool and clubhouse. It’s kinda out in the woods and cow fields. But we loved it.
Apr 22, 2025 · Danielle ShermanNice campground. Packages can be delivered directly to the sites. Clean pools, SPA and clubhouse. Has a small dog park. Many long term residents. Weekly trash service. Very few trees (good for satellites).Cons:- Sites are a bit tight to maneuver for long rigs- Trains pass nearby regularly and usually honks very loudly- The location is not close to anything interesting for visitors. There's a hiking trail nearby but nothing much to see
Dec 31, 2024 · Ken WWe have a 43ft 5th wheel. If you are over 40 ft, do not even consider coming here at all. This place is not big right now friendly. Every street takes a 16 point turn to make it. Cars are spilling out onto the street. Even driving my truck without the rig attached is difficult. If you have a big rig PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT. I’m terrified about leaving cause I have no idea how to get out without damaging my home. Again, find another location if you have a rig 40+ feet
Dec 15, 2024 · Korydon AlexanderI lived in this facility for now 5 years. Every year, pools are broken and not heated. Gates at the road are broken to allow anyone into a gated community. Maintenance at the village really is disappointing. Really think about buying in here. Do your homework on ELS properties.
